A Countermoonbat Tradition
After the Dems have abolished talk radio with the Unfairness Doctrine and neutered the Internet with Net Neutrality, next on their agenda will probably be country music, starting with Hank Williams Jr., who just doesn't seem to belong in a country under the thumb of an effete socialist elite.
The Dixie Chicks are safe though.
On a tip from Wiggins.

Unfortunately, after two years of an Obama, Pelosi, Reid implementation of a European socialistic government, people are going to start wonder what the hell happened. Nevermind that European nations are learning that socialism doesn't work, no matter whose running it.
If people think unemployment is high now, and the economy sucks now, just wait. As the old saying goes "You ain't seen nothin' yet, baby."

How will sites like Moveon and Daily Kos be affected by Net Neutrality?
Posted by: Jaeson at November 3, 2008 9:27 PM
I don't claim to know the specifics, but I have no doubt that CBS, NPR, NY Times, DailyKos, etc. either won't be subject to the rules, or the rules won't be enforced for them.
If Fairness really could be applied in some dreamy utopian fashion, then libs would have a lot more to lose than conservatives. In reality, Fairness is going to be imposed not with a gavel, but with a bludgeon.

I like his attitude, but unfortunately all signs point to an Obama win tomorrow. Let's hope that I'm ridiculously wrong about that.

Have courage, friends.
McCain/Palin will crush Obama/Biden tomorrow.
Count on it.

Is this website for real or is it a joke...? It's really hard to tell, I could easily imagine someone making the whole thing up... it would make a good SNL skit
Posted by: fez at November 4, 2008 1:05 AM
Yes Fez, it is all made-up. It is quite the joke. Just trying to imagine how anyone could have an opposing view makes my head hurt sometimes. It is so much easier on the brain to chant catch phrases and have someone else create your political/religious/social viewpoints. Being part of a crowd makes life easier, wouldn't you say? I am in daily contact with a host of conservatives and they all feel the same way...we/they are actually followers at heart and most positively would never attempt to actually take a stand on any issue publicly. The main stream media and Hollywood guide us, as we are all well aware that playing a doctor makes you one.
This website and others like it are all part of the conspiracy, fez. They have been created for us to anonymously joke around about the abstract idea that there could be another way to do things other than what is presented to us.
Yes, it is all one big joke as we are all followers of the "ONE" aren't we? It would be absurd to think any other way.
Posted by: chillywilly at November 4, 2008 3:31 AM
hey fez,, this blog is a joke. But what is ultimately truly funny about it is that it is real! These are real people! And they truly can't spell, or think or express themselves coherently. This blog is what happens when every semi-literate crackpot living in trailer park or his mom's basement gets internet access.
By the way, Hank Willams, jr. is absolutely welcome to leave the country if he doesn't like the direction it is taking.
Posted by: wingnutcracker at November 4, 2008 4:46 AM
Wingnutcracker, your own posts are usually also filled with spelling/ grammatical errors. Hypocrite.
Getting back on topic, while I'm not a really big fan of country music, I listen to it from time to time and like some of it.
My ultra- liberal anarchist brother (Who, thank God, doesn't believe in voting) once made a comment that was so biased and ignorant that it made me cringe hearing him say it. He said that all country music singers are racists because at some of their concerts, some of their fans wave Confederate flags!
The funny thing is, he loves listening to gangsta (c)rap music in which the tone- deaf rappers sling around the "N" word every 5- 10 seconds, and has never expressed any kind of offense over that!

By the way I am gay, love little boys and am unemployed. Why else would I say these silly things? The messiah is our messiah ... the messiah is our messiah ... the messiah is our messiah
McCain/Palin '08 and '12

Please excuse all the friggin' lunatic things I've said. It is the cult of personality that got me drinking the koolaid.

When one is critical of Obama you call them "semi-literate crackpots", this is the problem with this election. Real conversation and compromise on issue has been very difficult recently. I someone disagrees with the left they are either a bigot, racist, idiot, hick redneck or some other slang meant to offend.
Take oil, no progress was made by congress in any direction to deal with the price or supply of oil or refinerys because the dems refused to budge on enviromental issues, or take obama's position on coal (our largest source of domestic energy next to nuclear) but again instead of exploring clean burning coal he would like to tax the hole industry out of existance.
Take taxes he says he will lower them, raise healthcare spending and forgein spending yet he has not explained how this math works, when he or his supporters question this they are accused of impeding progress.
The problem is the democrats have been taken over by a pack of spoiled city children and have elected for themselves a child "god" who no one had better question. Why is Obama inffalible, because he is black?
Why is discussion about his religion such a no no issue, he claims he is christian but his upbringing in indonesia and his trip in 80-81 to pakistan demonstrates other wise.
Conservitives dont have and issue with muslems, just with a man who lies about his faith, taxes, and guns to appease his voters.
His voting record does not support what he claims his views are on guns taxes, faith, abortion, forgien affairs.
His lack of international understanding was most damning when it came to the surge, he spoke like a whipped cur claiming we had been defeated.
Low and behold we had not and iraq was an achievable goal, he "WANTED" failure to help his presidency and other wanted victory not for personal gain but for the good of the iraqis, second his comments about violating the borders of a nuclear capable Pakistan were down right moronic and if he had been white and a republican would have broken his presidential asperations.
It seems to be alright to mock palin for here inexperiance but not obama's limited 200 day strech in the senate before he declared. Its ok to mock mccains injurys and age, but not obama's sttuutterrriinnnngggg and incompotent and racist remarks (guns and bibles, in penn; paki and 57 states comments)
His affilation with paul silansky, tony rizoko, Bill"the bomber" ayers and Wright should be enough to invalidate and claim he has to sound judgement.
The problem is these issue cannot be discussed in a rational manner without the child gods voters getting all whipped up in a froth about how much of a hick redneck i am. This election is NOT ABOUT ME OR HOW MUCH OF A REDNECK I AM. Its about the unquestioning loyalty of a certain segments of this population to a main that has only demonstrated contempt for this country.
I am not a rabid supporter of Mccain, he cheated on his wife, made a stupid mistake in arizona with a crooked financer, his campaign finance reform does not work (look at obama's nameless donations from the internet, this should be tracked but it is not), but he did attempt to deal with the subprime issue back in 2005 and was right about the surge, he is weak on energy but aleast he is willing to listen.
Supporting Obama is fine, but stop name calling and mocking other who disagree with you
I AM NOT EMBARRASED TO BE AND AMERICAN
I DO NOT BELIEVE YOU HAVE ANY RIGHT TO MY MONEY OR HEALTHCARE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF
I DO BELIEVE ENGLISH SHOULD BE REQUIRED
I DO BELIEVE IN A TOUGH FORGIEN POLICY
TAXES DO DAMAGE GROWTH
THE GOVERNMENT WASTE MONEY
Low taxes, personal responsiblity, and a strong work ethic is all the country needs, not pa pa 'Bama stealing my money, no one born in the US was Underpriviliged, this is the richest country the world has ever seen, if people cannot earn a living here THEY ARE NOT EVEN TRYING, i earned 40,000 working 2 jobs, it was hard but paid the bills, i have not one IOTA of sympathy for those who are unwilling to even help themselves, if you are voting for obama you should ask your self
"What have i done to make my life better"
if you can answere that you have done a little something everyday i promise you wont need the child god, you wil have yourself

There is a small ray of hope. If the polls hold, the One may not get his filibuster-proof senate majority. And that may be just enough to hold back the worst excesses of Obamunism.
And we can look forward to all the leftist moonbats who used the filibuster to block so much of the Bush agenda to start whining loudly about the 'tyranny of the minority' and how unfair the filibuster is.
Posted by: V the K at November 4, 2008 5:34 AM
Then, of course, we all start working to take back the congress in 2010 and put Sarah in the White House in 2012.
BTW, it turns out, not even the partisan commission could make anything stick in Tasergate. Why do you think the moonbats, who usually hate 'the pigs' were suddenly so protective of Wooten… a dirty cop who got drunk in his squad car, threatened to kill members of Palin’s family, and tasered a ten year old boy just for the hell of it. Does their hatred of Palin go so deep that they are willing to defend a cop who obviously has no business wearing a badge? Or is the Democrats party so thoroughly corrupt that they oppose firing bad cops on general principle?
Posted by: V the K at November 4, 2008 5:40 AM
V, I think it has been reported that Wooten also illegally shot a moose while on the job.
He was a disgrace to the badge, and definitely deserved to get fired.

I don't think Net Neutrality means what you think it means. You should look into this.
I have no doubt they will impose Orwellian restrictions on the internet. I am on board with you. But "Net Neutrality" is not the means they will use, and I think it harms your argument to keep mentioning it. To my knowledge Net Neutrality is a good thing.
Please look into this and just start calling it the inevitable Orwellian future of the internet or something. How about "the coming Ministry of Truth and Internet Affairs"

Here we have an endorsement from a guy that openly admits to over indulging in Jim Beam and, not to make people mad, but likes to have women he's never had. How appropriate. By the way Hank, why do ya smoke?

Well, we know if he decides to become an Alaska State Trooper, shoots ten year old kids with tasters and threatens to murder his wife's relatives... Democrats might just make a hero out of him.
Posted by: V the K at November 4, 2008 12:52 PM
VK, I guess it's safe to say that we all KNOW that IF he does, they MIGHT just do that. Grasp much?
