Rednecks for Obama
America is in trouble now: Obama is getting support even from those bitter folks in Flyover Country who cling to their guns and Bibles.
When Barack Obama's campaign bus made a swing through Missouri in July, the unlikeliest of supporters were waiting for him — or rather two of them, holding the banner: "Rednecks for Obama."
[…T]he pair are on a grassroots mission to bridge a cultural gap in the United States and help usher their preferred candidate into the White House. Tony Viessman, 74, and Les Spencer, 60, got politically active last year when it occurred to them there must be other lower income, rural, beer-drinking, gun-loving, NASCAR race enthusiasts fed up with business as usual in Washington.
Wow, not one but two rednecks for Obama — and that's just in Missouri.

I wonder if anyone bothered to tell them that Obama IS Washington business as usual. I wonder if it would make any difference if someone did. I further wonder if they realize they are supporting a terrorist sympathizer and thinly-veiled socialist who, by the way, has tried to ban guns any way he can.
My guess is "no" on all counts.

Ages 74 and 60? Well, I just hit 60 in late August, so I know who these folks are: unrepentent, unreconstructed hippies, anti-capitalist, anti-American, etc., ad nauseum. Graduates of the 60's "revolution," they can't imagine anyone but another fellow radical (to put it nicely; pure Marxist is more apt) leading the country. Like that idiot Ayers, they've waited decades for this chance, and nothing and nobody is going to stand in their way (or so they think).

This guy Tony Viessman's wife is none other than the Vice Chair of the Phelps County, MO Democratic Party. A political hack. Here's their website with her name and title:
