Pundit Calls for Denying Caucasians the Right to Vote

Passing off Barack Obama as a legitimate presidential candidate despite his radical ideology, vile associates, and lack of qualifications has been a big job for the media. Jonathan Valania at the Philadelphia Enquirer gives some insight into the mentality that keeps journalists motivated for this Herculean task in a piece entitled "White People Shouldn't Be Allowed to Vote."

He comes up with three reasons: 1) White people voted for W, whom Valania doesn't like. 2) He doesn't like Sarah Palin either, who is also white, as are many of her supporters. 3) Irresponsible left-wing Democrats like Ed Rendell and John Murtha have been screeching that whites won't vote for a black supremacist like Obama because they're racists.

Valania agrees that if we don't want to turn over the country to someone who pretty obviously does not mean it well, and who has made no secret of his intentions to coercively redistribute wealth along racial lines, we must be racists. Blacks aren't racists, since virtually all of them support Obama. The solution is clear: deny whites the right to vote, and we can transcend racism.

This self-hating Caucasian idiot is afforded a soapbox at a major metropolitan daily because his views are mainstream from the point of view of the allegedly mainstream media.

Oh sure, why not? The white man has been electing officials for centuries. It's high time that the colored folk get a say. Let's just hand everything over to them because they have an outstanding record of making wise decisions.

Well then, Valania, will you be including youself as among those who should be denied the right to vote? You are by your own admission white, after all.
That's what makes me laugh about lefties like him. They propose (Seriously or semi- seriously) all kinds of things to hit the American public in the name of "Improving the situation" or bringing about "Social justice," yet they'd have no intention of implementing such measures themselves in their own lives. It's most obvious in the celebs who whine about the environment and how we should impose strict conservation laws on the American public, yet their own lives are completely contradictory to it.

There is going to be a clash of ideologies in this country, and it's unfortunately likely to be violent.

The left is pushing it to the limit. I hate that it's come to this. But men far wiser than I am said it best:

"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation."

Ay ay ay... Philadelphia Inquirer closed comments at 41, and not a positive comment in the bunch. Will they delete comments next? If you haven't gone to read this, uh, 'editorial' at Inky, deny them the revenue and don't go now!

Allowing blacks the freedom to vote without harassment was one of the central points of the civil rights movement. Denying the vote to blacks was a terrible crime and a violation of their civil rights. And now this liberal idiot is coming out in favor of denying whites their civil rights? Really? Suppose that someone tried to deny blacks their right to vote because most of them support Obama, and we don't like him much. And they probably supported Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, all the more reason to take their vote away. Do these fools not understand that the Constitution applies to all Americans equally, and that it is that way for a reason?

Yeah, I know, they don't care how it works, or how it is supposed to work. In a world of nuance, who can say how anything really "works" anyway. This is what happens when you have no moral center, no sense of right and wrong, and no basis for making comparisons and drawing conclusions. You begin to think that the most patently absurd ideas are not only theoretically possible, but actually workable. After all, if facts are fungible, and the truth is subjective, then why shouldn't whites be denied the vote to make up for racism? Why won't Communism result in a utopia? Why shouldn't the government control your health care, retirement, and education? Why should people be allowed to say anything they want about anyone they want? Yes, there's this moldering 200-year-old piece of paper that dictates what the government is supposed to do and not do, but really (because facts are fungible) it allows the government to do anything it wants.

The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are the two most important documents in the history of mankind, for the simple reason that for the first time a government constructed itself in such a way to expressly limit its own power in order to prevent tyranny and protect individual liberty. The founding fathers just finished fighting a bloody revolution against a tyrannical power and had no desire to subject the American people to such a thing ever again. And yet here we stand on the brink of Socialism, with the government's firm grip on the banking industry already begin, and our watchdogs in the media are asleep on the hearth rug, blissfully ignorant of the impact their lack of effort will have on this country.

Not only that, but wouldn't two minutes of thought on the topic of this "article" have told the writer that it was a stupid and unworkable premise anyway, and that he'd look less stupid if he simply rehashed a few Democrat talking points? But then we've already established that most media hacks aren't that bright, so maybe I'm expecting too much.

Looks like this Valania fellow is anticipating an Obama victory, and is rushing to make it publicly known that he is anti-Whitey/racist Blacks' toady enough to be bypassed by the Truth Squads, Bounty Racist Hunters, et al during the coming Restructuring of Hope and Change. I know that sounds pretty far-fetched, but the Hollywood Establishment has been engaging in that kind of stupid behavior for many years.
