I wonder if he is having a secret affair with Jim McGreevey or Barney Frank?

I see; he would fit nicely into my category #6, the smug liberal.

6. The smug liberal often speaks in a condescending manner because they are simply smarter than you. These individuals manage to cling to their university indoctrination despite no longer being a student. Often they concentrate their numbers in academic arenas and administration positions. The smug liberal never works with his hands, unless it is to write something. They are easily identified with phrases such as "I don't mind paying taxes*" and "Tax cuts don't help anyone."
*Although the smug liberal claims to not mind paying taxes, they never voluntarily pay any more taxes than they are required to pay.

In nature, symbiotic parasites don't usually kill their hosts immediately. Somehow they have to insure that they or their progeny will find and infect another host or there will never be more parasites. If they are too greedy or toxic and the host dies quickly, then that line of parasites will disappear forever. In society, the American liberal parasite has managed to be around for generations. This is because these people never killed the host. Even a tape worm would realize at this point that there are no other suitable hosts around. But oblivious to impending doom, liberal parasites are planning on killing the host. The Dems plan on the perfect storm of a crazy liberal president, a totally insane and controlled congress, their own pull-toy pet judges, a subservient shameless press, and an uneducated public to push through complete destruction of America in four years.

There is one consolation. The parasites have no other viable hosts and they will have to live and die in the cesspool hell they have created with the rest of us. They won't be able to escape to other countries--when America goes down, other countries will go down with it. U. S. currency will be worthless and any decent surviving country will kill an American liberal with gunfire at its borders.

ANOTHER APOCRYPHAL TALE? I DOUBT IT

A FreeRepublic.com comment on A YOUNG GIRL’S AWAKENING TO POLITICAL TRUTH

areukiddingme1 to Gene Lalor

That is a good one.

Here is how we explained to my son who works very hard to maintain a 4.0 gpa who was asking about socialism/communism:

So we explained to him, “Son, this is very simple and crude, but effective.

“You work very hard to maintain a 4.0 gpa right? After you spend two hours at marching band you come home, you don’t watch TV, you don’t talk on the phone, and you spend three and sometimes four hours working on your homework a night.”

“Yeah.”

“Okay, well your friend Tammy, who barely listens in class and the minute school is over for that day, she doesn’t spend one minute on homework or so much as crack a book until the next day in class, she talks on the phone, watches American Idol, and Survivor and every other “reality tv show” — and we all know she is only earning between a D or a low C.

“Well, what we are going to do — to make everything fair between you and Tammy is we are going to lower your 4.0 gpa to 3.0 and ‘redistribute’ a portion of your 4.0 to Tammy to bump her up from a 2.0 up to 3.0 so that way everyone will feel good about themselves and you will be even.”

He looked at us and said, “Are you nuts, I worked hard for my grades while she played around! Why should I be punished?”

Welcome to the Republican Party, son.

RACE AND THIS RACE

No matter what you may think of Howard Stern, give a listen to these three quickie interviews broadcast on his show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyvqhdllXgU.

Stern’s interviewer posed a few questions to Obama supporters in Harlem and deviously switched McCain’s positions with Obama’s positions.

Turns out that Obama voters back Sarah Palin as VP, are pro-life, and believe we should stay in Iraq as long as needed to gain victory.

The obvious point? Obama supporters would vote for him even if he believed aliens from Uranus created ACORN, if he believed David Duke was the Messiah, or if he had three heads–one white, one maroon, and one black.

It would be that black head that would win them over.

So much for democracy in action.

Obama is an empty vessel into which people are pouring their hopes and dreams. When they finally wake up they will say "F*ck! What the hell did we do to ourselves?".

Posted by: Anonymous at October 21, 2008 10:03 AM

McCain's only hope at this point - polls are overstating support for Obama.

Alot of people might avoid saying they support McCain because they fear they might be labeled a racist (even it its on the phone, since in order to call you they have to have your phone number)

Then theres the exit polls on election night. Imagine the riots if exit polls show Obama the winner but actual vote count gives McCain the win (despire hundreds of thousands of illegal votes).

These 3 Cuban guys should start looking for a new country if Obama takes over! Ah the Cuban socialist paradise - FREE EDUCATION, FREE HEALTCARE! EVERYBODY EQUAL !!

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/miami-dade/story/734569.html

"Three Cuban men forced to work 16-hour shifts at 3 ½ cents an hour repairing ships for a Cuban joint venture in Curacao won an $80 million judgment Monday in U.S. federal court in Miami.

Alberto Justo Rodríguez, Fernando Alonso Hernández and Luis Alberto Casanova Toledo -- Cuban nationals who now live in Tampa -- sued the Curacao Drydock Co., alleging the company conspired with the Cuban government to force them into virtual slave labor.

Lawyers called the deal a ''Faustian bargain'' hatched so the Cuban government could pay off its debt with Curacao Drydock by providing free labor, and at the same time skirt the U.S. embargo by working on American ships in a third country.

''These arrangements have been the lifeblood of the regime for 15 years,'' attorney John Andres Thornton said. ``And those days are over.''

The plaintiffs tearfully testified about their 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. shifts -- sometimes 45 days straight -- in harsh and dangerous work conditions. They slept in 20-foot cubicles they shared with 20 other men and often did not sleep: They needed to stay up for their turn at the shower.

On their time off, they were forced to watch hourslong videotaped speeches of then-President Fidel Castro. They were paid the average Cuban salary of $16 a month.

Alonso, who has a shrunken frame and weathered face that belie his 43 years, was awarded $30 million for the 10 years he spent at the Curacao docks. His right hand is missing the index finger and the tip of the middle finger; his left is blackened by an untreated on-the-job explosion.

''I have never even seen $1,000 together,'' Alonso said after the judgment. ``I feel complete. We are in the best country in the world for justice.''"

THE VIEW FROM THE BOTTOM: JOY BEHAR VS. SARAH PALIN

Always ready to slam an attractive woman, Joy Behar, of that show which features mostly unattractive women and an audience of women who enjoy watching inane cat fights and gang ups on pretty Republican, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, seems to hate Sarah Palin.

Watch her vent her spleen in the first video clip here: http://television.aol.com/tvtop5/palins-performance-the-view/2290304?icid=200100397×1211900778x1200739054.

Joyless Joy is perturbed over Governor Palin’s success on SNL last Saturday night, perturbed over the Governor’s failure to appear on Meet the Press to be devoured by the likes of libs Tom Brokaw and David Gregory, and perturbed over Palin’s apparent refusal to enter the lioness’ den of The View.

Joy–and could that really be her given name?–is as disturbed as she is perturbed because she desparately wants to get her fangs into the governor. Kudos to the governor for having the discretion not to expose herself to that mangy crew which treated Obama as the Chosen One, then treated McCain as the Village Idiot.

The View and Joy Behar are over the top in their radical leftism, or is that under the bottom? So why should any reasonable conservative Republican appear on the show?

Movements are even afoot to petition the network to dump Hasselbeck because, well, in the inimitable words of a show fan, “She is a hinderence [sic] to this great show I’am [sic] a big fan but, I find it very difficult to watch anymore because of her constant attitude, fighting, and know it all personality.” (http://www.youchoose.net/campaign/get_elizabeth_hasselbeck_off_the_view)

Good grief! Talk about attitude! That fan shares the Obamian-Hitlerian trait of crushing all dissent! Who should replace Hasselbeck for some balance? Barbra Streisand?

Ann Coulter Researches the Pro-Democrat Poll Bias Through 8 Presidential Elections

Reviewing the polls printed in The New York Times and The Washington Post in the last month of every presidential election since 1976, I found the polls were never wrong in a friendly way to Republicans. When the polls were wrong, which was often, they overestimated support for the Democrat, usually by about 6 to 10 points.

Summarized by Burning Hot:

1976
Jimmy Carter (D) vs Gerald Ford (R)
Poll predictions: Carter +15 over Ford
Election results: Carter +2.1 over Ford
Bias error: 12.9 points in favour of Democrats

1980
Jimmy Carter (D) vs Ronald Reagan (R)
Poll predictions: Carter +3 over Reagan
Election results: Reagan +10 over Carter
Bias error: 13 points in favour of Democrats

1984
Walter Mondale (D) vs Ronald Reagan (R)
Poll predictions: Reagan +4, +9 or +13 over Carter
Election results: Reagan +18.8 over Mondale
Bias error: 14.8, 9.8 or 5.8 points in favour of Democrats

1988
Michael Dukakis (D) vs George H.W. Bush (R)
Poll predictions: Bush +5 over Dukakis
Election results: Bush +7.8 over Dukakis
Bias error: 2.8 points in favour of Democrats

1992
Bill Clinton (D) vs George H.W. Bush (R)
Poll predictions: Clinton +15 or +12 over Bush
Election results: Clinton +5.3 over Bush
Bias error: 9.7 or 6.7 points in favour of Democrats

1996
Bill Clinton (D) vs Bob Dole (R)
Poll predictions: Clinton +22 over Dole
Election results: Clinton +9 over Dole
Bias error: 13 points in favour of Democrats

2000
Al Gore (D) vs George W. Bush (R)
Poll predictions: Gore +6 over Bush
Election results: Bush over Gore by a slight margin
Bias error: 6 points in favour of Democrats

2004
John Kerry (D) vs George W. Bush (R)
Poll predictions: Bush +1 to +3 over Kerry
Election results: Bush +2.4 over Kerry
Bias error: 1.4 points in favour of Democrats to 1.6 points in favour of Republicans

2008
Barack Hussein Obama (D) vs John McCain (R)
Poll predictions: Obama over McCain, insert own imaginary number
Election results: Less than two weeks to go
Bias error: As always, in favour of Democrats

The Politico confirms it:

Respected polling analyst Mark Blumenthal found that during the Democratic primaries this year, preliminary exit polls overestimated Obama's strength in 18 of 20 states, by an average error of 7 percentage points, based on leaked early results.

Sorry, typo. In 1984 it should be Reagan over Mondale, not Carter.

Poll predictions: Reagan +4, +9 or +13 over Mondale
