MRS. OBAMA, WHITEY, AND THE N-WORD
With the stock market in an unprecedented freefall, with disturbing tales of banks and bailouts filling our newspapers and TV screens, and with Obama breaking out with a commanding lead over McCain, a little levity is in order and you can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ooBhnjl5v4&NR=1.
That link is to a parody of the whole, “Did Michelle Obama use the derogatory term, Whitey, at some point in time brouhaha” and, being a parody, that YouTube tape sheds no light on the question but is nevertheless amusing at the same time it raises some questions. (Mrs. Obama seems to be in virtual seclusion of late and could not be reached for comment.)
Personally, as a whitey, a natural-born whitey unlike the pseudo-whitey, Michael Jackson, I have never taken umbrage at the term. I guess it would depend on how the word was used and whether it was articulated during a frothing diatribe such as in the midst of one of those wild rants by Obama’s pastor, “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright.
Yet, even then, I’d consider the source and just let the word slide off my white back since I believe in the ancient adage that sticks and stones can break my bones but names or words can never harm me.
Considering that truism, it’s difficult to understand why the N-word is now regarded as the worst word in the English language, worse even than the much overused Anglo Saxon F-word. Overuse almost everywhere, in films, high school corridors, and many offices, has rendered the F-word as almost innocuous. It may very well go the way of the classic and vile British cuss word, bloody,...

It's a sin to despair. Yet should the Republic fall I think we may find a renewed sense of purpose in the fight to regain it. With luck it will be more like France in WWII rather than Eastern Europe in the Cold War.
But I'd rather avoid a socialist hell, even if an American Renaissance comes of it.

You and me both, comet.
As to the cult of personality, I was subjected to exactly what that meant last night. I was with a group of Obamatrons. They are in love with him. No exaggeration, no hyperbole...they are actually, truly in LOVE with the man. He can do no wrong, his heart is pure, his ideals are above those of normal humans...it is literally the scariest thing I've ever seen.
If, respectfully, I tried to disagree or say "...but, Obama was wrong on this because..." the hate, yelling, anger and wounded feelings were those of a betrayed lover.
This is (no exaggeration) more intense than the brainwashed Nazis feelings for Hitler. This is ACTUAL, EMOTIONAL LOVE.
This is going to be a dark time for the U.S.

You can dislike somebody because of the car they drive, their view on global warming, their politics, the school they went to, their wife, their children, their parents, the neighborhood they came from or that they live in, the sports team they cheer for, the clothes they wear, their jewelry, their personal hygiene, their friends, their social graces, the pets they own, their taste in music, the job they do, the way they speak, the way they play golf, tennis, chess, or how they bowl. But you cannot dislike somebody for the color of their skin.
Why is it assumed with a thousand reasons to dislike somebody, that anybody who dislikes Barack Obama dislikes him because of the color of his skin? I think even an unreasonable person should agree that there are a lot of other reasons to intensely dislike him.
Posted by: jim johnson at October 10, 2008 3:40 PM
I think the skin color thing will not really take off. Actually I'm really surprised it hasn't.
The statistics clearly prove that the electorate is not racist. If you assume half of the country are Dems and half are Repubs, then Obama would be behind if a substantial percentage of voters are racist.
But then that is using logic, apparently not the preferred method in this day and age.
Posted by: Air2air at October 10, 2008 4:35 PM
The Obama campaign's core strategy of accusing everyone and everything of racism in order to glide into office on others' guilt and desire for redemption is working brilliantly. It'll probably get him elected. That owes less to Obama than to McCain and his inept, pathetic, confusing campaign. But it's water under the bridge. Let's just all get out and vote, if for no other reason than, aside from racism, the Obama team's other strategy, in conjection with their PR team, the "media", is to demoralize us into accepting a fait accompli and not bothering to show up.
And yes, Obamatons LOVE Obama. But it'll be a short honeymoon indeed. There's some real shit going on out there, which he cannot fix. All he can do is throw money at problems and buy votes, and as we're all seeing, no matter how many billions you throw at a problem, markets are markets, Iran is Iran, and you can't just buy it all off. Even the most deranged Marxist Obama worshippers will soon discover that he is just a man, and the US Presidency is way, way above his pay grade. In the meantime, our task is to make sure we have a *real* candidate for 2012 so that we don't end up with another nose-holding situation like McCain.

I am getting really scared that this man is going to be president and I believe he is not what he seems to be. I am scared of the people controling him.
Posted by: Jenn at October 10, 2008 5:26 PM
The intensity of the love just means that the hurt of the betrayal when he becomes president and is revealed to be incompetent and corrupt is going to be that much worse.
The hardcore cultists will be with him until the end, just like Mugabe, but for most of the public, the bloom will be off the rose fairly quickly.
Posted by: V the K at October 10, 2008 5:36 PM
Right on mega. But I'm not so sure the honeymoon is going to be that short. These people have lost all ability for critical thinking.
I asked one (somebody that has money and property) "what if he starts revoking private property rights?" They just got that dreamy look on their face and said "it doesn't matter, it's for the common good, Obama would never do anything that wasn't in the best interest of..."
They are gone. Lost. If the government seizes all their assets, "O" would just go on TV and tell them "K, look...ummm...I understand your concern...ummm...bu bu but..." and they'd all swoon and say "Thank you sir, may I have another."
Jenn, the people around him will be so far to the left, they'll make the Politburo look like a Republican prayer breakfast. This will be a devastating time for the world. No more America as usual to save the day. Think about that, you Euro-weenies. Next time your tit is in a wringer, call Putin or Hugo Chavez. We're now a third-world mess like Lebanon and can no longer help.

When barak obama plays that he didn't know his pastor and mentor of 20 years held radical beliefs, it reminds me of Colin Ferguson who is 1993 shot and killed 6 people because they where white used the defense that he was asleep on the train and it was someone else who did it. Much like Colin Barak must have been asleep for 20 years like rip van fucking wimkel during those years he attended to have not taking a notice of the teachings.

The "Cult of Personality" theme in the picture reminds me of the (all black) 80's rock band (Living Color) that released a song of the same name. The lyrics are somewhat prophetic, as if spoken by The Annointed One himself. Even Algore's Nobel prize is predicted. Check it out:
“And during the few moments that we have left, we want to talk, right down to
earth, in a language that everybody here can easily understand.” (Malcolm X)
Look in my eyes, what do you see?
the Cult of Personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you wanna be ohhh…
I'm the Cult of Personality
Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I'm the Cult of Personality
the Cult of Personality
the Cult of Personality
Neon lights, Nobel Prize
When a mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set me free
I sell the things you need to be
I'm the smiling face of your T.V. ohh…
I'm the Cult of Personality
I exploit you; still you love me
I tell you one and one makes three ohh…
I'm the Cult of Personality
Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi ohh…
I'm the Cult of Personality
the Cult of Personality
the Cult of Personality
Neon lights, Nobel Prize
When a leader speaks, that leader dies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set you free
(Guitar solo)
You gave me fortune, you gave me fame
You gave me power in your God's name
I'm every person you need to be ohh…
I'm, the, Cult, of, Per, Son, Al, Ity
I am the Cult of (x8)
Personality
“Ask not what your country can do for you…” (John F. Kennedy)
“The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.” (Franklin D. Roosevelt)

My hope for the coming months is that the "Anointed One" does not get elected. This will, of course, bring about a hysterical, over the top "they stole another election" fit of rage. However, I think the mind games with "O" have gone far enough for it to turn into a mini-revolution.
They will burn things, they will attack people and, when that happens, I am going to put on a three pointed hat, load my rifle and take back at least my own little enclave of the country.
Please, you little weenies, push this just far enough for us to thin out the hell out.
Posted by: The HIm at October 10, 2008 5:57 PM
I'm of a non-hyperbolic mindset about Obama. I think he will win; I'll do my part and vote for the old guy who's going to take names of somebody or other for some reason I don't quite understand, but that's his bag, so 'whatever'. Anyway, here's what I think will happen with Obama:
- massive and I do mean MASSIVE gloating by the Left, from November 4 to around February, which is gonna makes us all feel pretty bad, but at least it will give us lots of stuff to talk about on right wing blogs
- an incessant, relentless engine of Obama media appearances, high profile "meetings", visits to the UN, to small towns in the US, with world leaders, etc., all in an effort to convince supporters their guy is the real deal, and to try to drag along some of the knuckle-draggers on the sheer force of Obama's charm - and there are lots and lots of Morton Kondrake's out there willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt and see what happens.
- in the first 2-3 months of Obama's administration, a whilwind cacophony of phony legislation designed to show people that Obama wants to do big things, but in reality understood to be dead on arrival at Congress - everything from major Clinton-esque health care overhauls and such, to new solve-global-warming initiatives. 90 + percent of it will never pass; it will die in committees. The Democrats will engineer all of this to make Republicans look like uncooperative reactionaries who stand in the way of progress. Democrats will partially succeed in doing so. For the most part, though, the populace will quickly get that things are as they have always been, nothing is going to change, the markets will have stabilized, and people will go about their lives.
- Obama will appoint Carter-era has-beens to many important govt positions, and a few newer, younger people to inconsequential posts.
- Obama will then, between around March and for the remainder of his administration, basically do nothing. Large "big idea" legislation will die on the vine in Congress, so his initiatives will get smaller, tighter, and less ambitious. Expansive speeches will lead to nothing, so they will gradually get replaced with small-bore media events. Obama will initially spend a HUGE amount of time cavorting with foreign leaders and standing together smiling in front of cameras, but after a few months of all that leading to nothing, he'll move on and cut back on the international-player persona.
- The "world community" will tire of him quickly. The peasants from Spain to Venezuela may keep up the frenzy for a couple years, but within a few months, world leaders will realize he is a novice do-gooder without the chops to lead the free world, so they will write him off. Not publicly, mind you - they will just quietly ignore what he says and will stop looking to the US for cues as to what to do. So they will go ahead and do their own thing, which in many cases will not be in our interest, but that is inevitable no matter who wins.
- By summer '09, Obama will have settled in for 3.5 years of totally inconsequential non-leadership in which nothing gets done. The press will never turn on him, but they'll get bored with the messiah schtick, so we'll see a quiet skepticism from the media. It'll never be cruel and confrontational like with Bush - just calmly dismissive.
- In 2012 we will have a chance to put up a real candidate against one of the least consequential people ever to hold the title of President.
The two wild cards: Iran/nuke and supreme court appointments. If it weren't for those two, I'd be a-OK with Obama. Due to those two, I'd rather see McCain win. Either way, I do not think I need to stock up on ammo, move to the hills, or expect a total collapse of life as we know it. I believe 2012 will look remarkably like 2008, plus or minus a nuclear weapon in the hands of some crazy Moslem.
Posted by: mega at October 10, 2008 6:32 PM
I should add to the above comment that if Obama is elected, we will hear and talk about race, race relations, racism, racial reconciliation, racial healing, racial divisions, and the intractable problem of, basically, white people who can't get over their hatred of black people, every minute of every hour of every day for four solid years.
There will not be a single week in the period 2008-2012 when there won't be at least one magazine (Time, Newsweek, etc.) featuring a front cover piece on race in the supermarket aisle.
That will be the part that will truly suck about Obama. It will be all race, all the time, 24x7 until way, way, waaaaay after he leaves office in 4 or 8 years.

It is time to understand something. Barack Obama is Black. The fact that he is Black is not a reason to not vote for him anymore than it is a reason to vote for him. The fact that he is part of the American Black culture is a very good reason not to vote for him. If Obama wanted a Viking culture that believed in pillage and rape, of sailing the sea and landing on a shore and grabbing everything loose including slaves and property and burning the rest, he would also be disqualified. A culture that glorified warriors that loved to die in battle especially after killing a lot of people is not a culture where I would vote for its advocates. I wouldn't vote for the ancient Jews with their animal sacrifices and little habit of killing everybody on the land that they thought was God given. A person who wanted to be like Joshua in the Old Testament is not a good idea for president (not with hydrogen bombs!). I wouldn't vote for an advocate of a culture that wanted women completely powerless and covered head to toe in black burlap and with absolutely no rights (certainly less rights than we now give cats and dogs). So why would any sane American vote for an advocate of American Black Culture? There is in this Black culture tremendous violence, overtones of hatred to women, no respect for learning or tolerance for other points of view, and demands for reparations for things done several hundred years ago by people who mostly are not even represented by descendents in most of America. This American Black culture features a ripoff-the-system and grab-what-you-can mentality demanding at all times favorable results and great respect for unequal effort and ability. People call the American Black Culture Marxist or Socialist, but it is not! American Black Culture is a new evil that stands upright in its own right in the crowded museum of bad ideas right beside Communism, the empire of the Aztecs, the Nazis, the Persians, the Zulus and the British Empire. (There are a lot of others--bad ideas are not unique.) There are a lot of Black people in America who do not accept this American Black culture. It is very unfortunate that Barack Obama and his wife do not appear to be among them. It is also true that had he not accepted American Black Culture, we would never have heard of him. He would be a second level attorney working for some small real estate company or something.
So even though Barack Obama may be articulate. He may be able to memorize and regurgitate the careful script his staff prepares and he may dress well and appear calm and in control. But what he cannot hide is his acceptance of the American Black culture. This acceptance is clear from his associates, from his votes, from his church attendance, from his mostly hidden personal history, and even from his writing and speeches (the ones not managed by handlers). Obama's acceptance of American Black culture is an absolute disqualification to be president of the United States just as it would be a disqualification if he accepted the culture of the ancient Jews, the Vikings, or the Taliban.

Hey, great news! Paulson has finally figured out how to solve our financial problems. The US government is gonna buy up and then own the private sector.
Who knows, maybe they'll rent it back to us or something.
Why didn't someone think of this before? Just have the government own everything. It's so simple...

FARRAKHAN’S MESSIAH SPEAKS!
I’m getting too old to be afraid of much, aside from high blood pressure and a high cholesterol count, but Louie Farrakhan scares the hell out of me.
See this video of him waxing poetic and orgasmically enthused over an Obama presidency: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=77539.
(Please also see previous articles referencing Farrakhan: “Race in America,” http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=476, “Obama’s Muslim Faith Outed, Again!” http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=444, and “Black Reparations and Your Wallet,” http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=174.)
Less than affectionately known as Calypso Louie to Rush Limbaugh, Farrakhan is quite probably the most dangerous man in America, a title that will be passed to Barack Obama should he win on November 4th.
Again quite probably, Louie will become a clandestine participant in a President Obama’s kitchen cabinet, unless he’s granted a more visible role in an Obama administration should the rumored Obama landslide actually occur. In that eventuality, the first semi-black president’s celebrated arrogance could come to the fore and he will be even more brazen and perhaps nominate Farrakhan to be ambassador to Israel, an ambassador to a nation whose citizens he despises.
However, for now, it’s more than curious to consider that in the last few weeks the most controversial and mouthy firebrands among Obama’s intimates have become virtually invisible, and inaudible, spectres subsumed in their perception of the Greater Good, Obama’s election.
Unless the mass media has been concealing more than it usually does, Michelle Obama has been muzzled, Jeremiah Wright has been preoccupied, Jesse Jackson is still in recovery, and Calypso Louie has had a rare attack of reticence as they all await the election returns.
So, why is Louis Farrakhan someone to be feared when he finally emerges from his pre-electoral cocoon? A grinning cheshire cat ...

Brainwashing is so ugly.

Great posts mega, V the K, and matt.
I agree that the lefties are in for a downer no matter what happens. If Obama loses, they'll obviously be in a major funk. They've probably got the placards screaming "racism" printed up already.
But even if he wins, they will inevitably be disillusioned, as Dems are now with Clinton. A year ago Clinton could do no wrong, now ...
And you're right, that they will try to lay Obama's failure at the feet of the Republicans, but I suspect his failures, should he be elected, will be such that they will resist those efforts.

FIRSTHAND NEWS FROM MISSIONARIES IN OBAMA’S KENYA
The following unconfirmed communication was received from Kyle-Ann Shiver of CommonSenseRegained.com:
Dear Readers,
This came in from a reader I know well…need to pass this on as well.
The experiences recounted last week by Jerome Corsi in Kenya are
confirmed by this earlier communication and should be heeded.
[Corsi, author of Obamanation, was recently “detained” in Kenya for “political activities” relating to promoting his book: http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=37221 and http://tammybruce.com/2008/10/jerome_corsi_deported_from_ken.php. That “detention” adds credibility to the letter from two missionaries in Kenya.]
Celeste and Loren Davis are
Missionaries in Africa and can shed some firsthand light on one of our
Presidential candidates.
“Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and working
in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well.
They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election
chaos here. Thousands of people have been displaced by election
violence (over 350,000) and I don’t know the last count of the dead.
Obama, under ‘friends of Obama’ gave almost a million dollars to the
opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga,
who is a socialist trained in east Germany … He has been trying to
bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison
for trying to subvert this country!...

Somehow I don't think any amount of "sanity" here can counteract the absolute batshit insanity that's going on with the leftards, publicly, out in the open, without any sort of restraint or rebuke. How can we possibly be so restrained, reasonable, and rational that it's going to snap these brainwashed cultists out of the spell they're under? MISOGYNISTIC LESBIAN FEMINISTS RAGE OVER SARAH PALIN
They started by burning their bras while cowardly men were burning their draft cards. Current exemplars have now burned and trashed their most fundamental philosophy that women are as good as or better than the male of the species.
They are, of course, so-called “feminists” who have finally come full circle in their beliefs and are back to where they started, if not even worse off.
The impetus, the catalyst, for feminism’s devolution is one Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska and Republican nominee for the vice presidency of the United States.
You would think a true feminist would be ecstatic over Sarah Palin’s achievements, becoming mayor of the town of Wasilla, becoming the first female governor of our forty-ninth state, becoming only the second major party candidate, and first Republican nominee, for vice president in the nation’s history.
However, they are anything but ecstatic; in fact they are beside themselves with venom over Palin.
How could that be? Granted, she is no Hillary Clinton–and thank God for that! But shouldn’t Governor Palin be seen as the culmination of their wishes and ambitions–having a woman in the second highest political position in America and, yes, that proverbial heartbeat away from becoming our commander-in-chief?
Well, no, that isn’t really the pinnacle of their dreams since Sarah Palin is not one of them! She may be able to field dress a moose and she can guide a snowmobile over the Alaskan tundra as well as any man but she is accomplished in all the wrong areas, in the estimation of feminists.
Governor Palin is gracious, accomplished, intelligent...

GIMME ME YOUR WALLET!
“Yer wallet or yer life,” growls the thief to his victim, to which the victim either responds by turning over his wallet or, risking life and limb, refuses to surrender his wallet containing not only his money but his identity in the form of a driver’s license, credit cards, perhaps important phone numbers, and Lord knows what else.
That hackneyed stick-up line is outdated today since the thief is more likely now to shoot his victim, slit his throat, or bash him with a Louisville Slugger and then abscond with said wallet.
Even muggers were more civilized in the good ol’ days.
That scenario was brought to mind by a recent exchange I had with a much younger son of a good friend. The kid who is about 35, (anyone who was born after 1965 or so is still, relatively, a kid to me), happens to be a Wall Streeter and had asked me whom I was voting for and why.
Without hesitation, I answered, “McCain,” and I added, “not because I think he’s the political answer to my prayers but because he’s easily the better candidate, by far, to the alternative.”
Of course, I tossed the ball back into the kid’s court and asked him the same question.
With a comparable lack of hesitation, he replied, “I always vote my wallet,” meaning he casts his ballot for the candidate who will cause the least damage to his wallet and financial well-being.
As Seinfeld would say in a different context, “Not that there’s anything wrong with that!” And there is nothing essentially wrong with watching out for Number One. After all, if individuals in our society don’t watch out for themselves, then who will? The only alternative is government watching out for us and our government(s) doesn’t often focus on the middle class except in election years and that focus usually becomes astigmatic after Election Day.
Nevertheless, voting one’s wallet,...

Barney Frank's homosexual affair with Fannie Mae official
Barney Frank has been in a "scandal" involving his homosexual lovers before. Barney Frank is the Democrat chairman of the House Banking Committee who played a major role in blocking reform legislation on Fannie Mae all of these years (since the 1990's, when even Bill Clinton was trying to obtain more oversight over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, even though Clinton Administration people were a major force in the expansion of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into ever more risky loans--with Clinton Administration official and Obama crony Franklin Raines becoming CEO of Fannie Mae and inflating his own compensation with questionable loans and accounting).
It turns out that Barney Frank had a homosexual lover who was an official of Fannie Mae for a good part of teh 1990's, when Frank was one of the main House members (since his committee was responsible for "oversight" legislation of financial institutions).
What would happen if this were a Republican, like Larry Craign? You know. There would be a major scandal. In fact, if a Republican hand been involved in any heterosexual relationships as questionable as some of the homosexual relationships of Barney Frank, there would have been several major scandals. However, Frank is a Democrat homosexual, which makes him off limits to mainstream media attack, even when his actions have resulted, as much as any person, in the present mortgage crisis.

"The Sun Times today gave a major clue that Barack Obama will indeed go down with Tony Rezko, sooner rather than later. It looks as though Rezko is about to turn on Alexi Giannoulias, the 30-year old State Treasurer of Illinois (who was elected only because Obama backed him)."

ALEC BALDWIN EXPLAINS ALEC BALDWIN
In case you haven’t heard, or in case you don’t give a tinker’s dam, Alec Baldwin, fellow Long Islander, bon vivant, actor, dad, and arch-liberal, has been going through a rather messy divorce with Kim Bassinger.
Here, he finally speaks out concerning his youth and childhood, his early years in acting, how much he loves kids, and what he learned from his parents about child-rearing, including, “You can give your child many things, but the greatest gifts are your attention and your time.”http://www.aolhealth.com/healthy-living/relationships/alec-baldwin-divorce-fatherhood?icid=200100397×1211415957x1200658787.
Nowhere in his self-serving ramblings does he specifically refer to the infamous phone call he placed to his young daughter, Ireland, a short while back which, apparently, was taped by Bassinger–or by his daughter?
During that love-less call, he erupts with foul language...

THE DEATH OF MATTHEW SHEPARD
Today, October 12th, 2008, marks the tenth anniversary of the death of Matthew Wayne Shepard.
To refresh, Shepard was the young poli-sci major at the University of Wyoming who was viciously attacked on the night of October 7th, 1998 and who subsequently died of severe head wounds in a Fort Collins hospital.
Shepard is best remembered by the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered) community since he was unabashedly gay. Thus, this article by LGBT proponent, Judy Shepard, Matt’s mother, commemorating the sad, untimely death of her son: http://www.matthewshepard.org/site/PageServer.
Much was written at the time of the attack about what was labeled a hate crime against an innocent homosexual and the attack was the inspiration for various hate crime legislation throughout the country in the ensuing years but much more did not get any attention from the mass media.
A mother’s love for a son, as well as a father’s, should never be impugned although I must take issue with Mrs. Shepard’s statement in the above article that, “the level of ‘hate’ [against gays] is frightening” ten years later and is beyond her comprehension. The level of hatred existing today is more toward what gays do in public venues rather than toward their sexual activities done in private....

Guys, I would like to say reading this thread gave me hope for the future and an optimistic view... but alas, I find myself needing to go to the NRA website to get a lift!!!! LOL!!!!
I think the first two years of Obama will send all those "Undecideds" to the polls to vote in conservative Senators and Congressmen to counter the pain and suffering of having the Obamamessiah in the White House.
