But the shaven-headed man, who was white, followed Mr Egwuatu and after pulling open the passenger door pointed the gun at him.

The attacker then fired the gas-powered ball-bearing pistol three times, hitting the civil servant in the face, hand and shoulder.

Mrs Egwuatu, an immigration officer, said: 'At first my feelings were pure horror and now it is pure anger.

'I don't know how a person's mentality works. Why would a T-shirt get you to the point where you want to shoot someone.'

Is that a right way to hold a rifle? No. But it is an appropriate way to hold a breech loading shotgun. Which that is. Reporters often wonder how those rural hicks always can spot them. It’s comments like that. It’s ok to wikipedia things. That doesn’t make you a stupid rural hick. In fact, having your facts right might make you seem less of an arrogant, erudite reporter who doesn’t even know what she doesn’t know.

Obamunist campaign volunteer twists Obama's support for death to babies into death threat against Obama

A Lufkin woman received a surprise visit from the Secret Service last week because of a “death threat” comment she reportedly made about Sen. Barack Obama to a campaign volunteer asking for her support of the presidential candidate.

Two federal agents arrived at Jessica Hughes’ home Thursday to ask her if she said, “I will never support Obama and he will wind up dead on a hospital floor.”

Hughes said her words were deliberately twisted by a volunteer who was apparently unhappy Hughes was rude during a phone conversation the two had. The Lufkin mother, a Republican, said she received a call on her cell phone Wednesday from a woman with the Obama Volunteers of Texarkana.

“She asked if I was an Obama supporter, to which I replied, ‘No, I don’t support him. Your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the state Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time.’ (And then) I hung up.”

Like any true liberals they are a bunch of secular atheists doofuses in the same line as that SELF CENTERED ATHEISTS JERK MICHEAL NEWDOW and that brainless know nothing idiot RICHARD DAWKINS plus all those left-wing news media

The Smithsonian Institution, a private/public enterprise founded by James Smithson, a Brit who had never even visited the United States, was designated to be built, “for the increase & diffusion of Knowledge among men” and by 1855 by act of Congress it was established and fully constructed on the Washington Mall.

By any estimation, the Smithsonian complex of 19 museums, 9 research centers, and 140 affililiated museums worldwide has to be considered the pearl of Washington, D.C. It opens its huge doors free to millions of public visitors annually who marvel at its exhibits even if a relative few object to its often slanted political perspectives.

It must be granted that the Smithsonian never shirks controversy at the same time that it never shirks an opportunity to denigrate its host country. One of the more recent examples of that was its 1994 exhibit of a refurbished Enola Gay which dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

Certain parties tried to block new McCain ad on Obama-Ayers as 'adult content'

SENATOR JOHN McCAIN’S ARTICLES OF SURRENDER

John McCain still doesn’t get it.

A good man, a proven war hero and a patriot, Senator McCain seems ready, willing, and able, to surrender the presidency rather than backtrack on his longstanding tendency to “reach across the aisle” and work with Democrats to find solutions for the many ills our nation faces.

That’s all very charitable and diplomatic of the senator from Arizona, this self-characterized maverick, but it makes no sense when sitting on the other side of the congressional aisle are other senators and congress people who have repeatedly demonstrated they care not a whit about this country except as it serves to extend their careers.

Why McCain cannot see that, cannot intellectually grasp that, is bewildering and infuriating as is his refusal to take off the gloves for the final twenty six days of this campaign and fight with all in his prodigious power to pummel Obama and his congressional surrogates with the truth.
