Obamunist Thugs Target McCain Supporters
Ever wonder why you see far more Obama than McCain signs, although they've been roughly even in the polls? Via Cassy Fiano, here's what happens if you put out McCain signs on your own property even in rural Albemarle County, Virginia (obscenity alert):

Residents who put out McCain signs have also been receiving hate mail like this:
McCain bumper stickers are an invitation to have your car keyed. But then, allowing Obama to take power is an invitation to infinitely worse. You don't have to imagine what these thugs will be like when they are in control: that's a matter of historical record.

How about if McCain wins? Their house will probably get burned down with them in it. I've considered putting a McCain sign in the yard, but didn't. I live in a pretty quiet town, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to have a brick come through the window on Nov 4th if McCain wins.
Which, in spite of the sketchy polls saying Obama is 8% ahead, is still quite possible - in fact, I hear Palin talking about Ayers on the TV right now...

I saw the "01.20.09" sticker just this morning, right next to a sticker with the falsely attributed Jefferson quote "Dissent is the Highest Form of Patriotism" as well as an Obama sticker. The woman in the car was very comfortable with her ignorance.
The streets on the wealthier side of my town display an unbroken chain of Obama yard signs. The less affluent sections break down about 50-50 on Obama/McCain signs.
We (suburban St. louis) have had cases of Obama canvassers making veiled threats to residents who aren't receptive to the One's message being delivered to their doorstep. The longer this behaviour goes unchallenged, the worse it will get.

Returning home from work* today, I spotted another conservative-owned Prius; it had a McCain/Palin sticker on it and above was an NRA sticker.

Helpful suggestion: place your McCain / other GOP signs at 50m intervals, so you know how high or low you have to hold your sight picture depending on where the invading Obamunists are.
Seriously, though, folks like "Beef" in St. Louis should probably prepare for the worst, win lose or draw.
