Obamanomics as Described by The One
If you think the economy is shaky now, wait until this clown takes over the Executive Branch. Obama describes his economic philosophy:
White folk's greed runs a world in need.
That's a fine bumper sticker slogan for some flaky college professor's Volvo, but try to imagine the consequences of putting someone who thinks like this in charge of the country.
On a tip from rrobin.

You want to see an economy grind to a halt? All working white male professionals should go on strike for 1 week. All the doctors law (f$%k lawyers), engineers, construction,etc...take a week off.

You mean all the Atlases, maybe not shrugging, but just taking a break? Strike is such a loaded word, though, and there are some who aren't white males who should be included. About as likely to get any action as that 1 day gas buying moratorium though. Needs someone to go around and recruit them individually...

The object in life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. -- Marcus Aurelius
There is a cyclical nature to things. Sometimes what is up is down and down is up. There doesn't need to be a strike. Whatever anybody does or doesn't do, the economic future now is very bleak. As always the people at the bottom won't gain--except for a moment. Eventually, they will really suffer. They may just starve. They may end up in a pile of bones not even worth mass burial.
When farmers shoot gophers to feed the cats, they always wait for the gopher to get far enough away from the hole. If it is too close, it goes down the hole and dies and there is no meat for the cats. I think the poor are being lured out away from their nice secure welfare programs and wealth distribution programs so they can be smashed flat once and for all when the whole economy goes completely bust. In this case, the country will have to fill in the hole (cancel the programs for lack of money).
Many years later, the survivors, not poor and poor alike, can try to get going again without these programs and Liberals.
