When the rise of dictatorship is depicted in movies or television, the dictator-ascendant is always depicted as an older, white male, usually heavy-set. He almost always favors deep red, white and black in both decor and in the uniforms of his minions. They are also invariably fond of military pageantry and music.
So naturally, when a real dictator shows up, he is a skinny, young pacifist who likes pastels and hip-hop. So much for Hollywood.

I work with a bunch of extreme leftist radicals and this week I saw and heard some things that chilled me to the bone.
I listened to a candidate for the US Senate say that anyplace where people who support Obama gather is a church and they are doing God's work.
I also saw and heard other things that proved to me that what we are facing is literally a religious movement.
I'm not one to take much stock in doomsday rhetoric, but I'm convinced that we are facing a totalitarian fascist dictatorship that parallels pre WWII Germany.

Yeah, Thulsa, a few of them are pretty porky, and the Left is increasingly viewing obesity (Or even just being slightly overweight) as being on par with leprosy.

I agree with Adam - only a few of them looked "sustainable" to me, and they better rethink their addiction to fast food, meat, white flour mac and cheese, because well - they can't just to eat whatever they want and expect people to look the other way.

On re-viewing this, I have mixed feelings. It's still creepy, but something that jolts American blacks out of a passive dependency mode and into taking responsibility for their own lives, and building something out of those lives, has something to be said for it.
