Los Angeles Times Suppresses Video of Obama Praising Rashid Khalidi
The Los Angeles Times refuses to release video of a guy who may be elected President in a few days praising Rashid Khalidi, former official mouthpiece of the terrorist PLO.
Among those who don't rely on the MSM, it's already known that Khalidi and Obama have long been good friends, and that Obama has funneled money in his direction. However, making this video public would let a wider group know who and what they might be voting for Tuesday, so La Times apparently considers it better left unseen.
Khalidi directed the official Palestinian press agency WAFA during the heyday of PLO terrorism. If possible, he has become even more radicalized: now he teaches on the Middle East faculty at Columbia, which makes Mahmoud Ahmadinejad look like Bebe Netanyahu. Like other radicals, he is fond of accusing Israel of running an "apartheid system." This should give Jews a hint as to where our foreign policy would go under President Obamination.
On the tape, Obama refers to the intimate dinners he had with Khalidi and his wife Mona, as the terrorist propagandist was leaving Chicago for Columbia:
It's for that reason that I'm hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid's dinner table … [but around] this entire world.
Homegrown terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn — who launched Obama's political career from their home — were reportedly in attendance — another reason for La Times to sit on the tape.
By the way, La Times has officially endorsed Obama for President. No word on whether it favors Khalidi or Osama bin Laden for Secretary of State.
McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb comments:
A major news organization is intentionally suppressing information that could provide a clearer link between Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi. … The election is one week away, and it's unfortunate that the press so obviously favors Barack Obama that this campaign must publicly request that the Los Angeles Times do its job — make information public.
La Times says it won't release the video because it promised the source it wouldn't. Keeping promises is noble, but it would be more noble still not to make promises that conflict with professional obligations. Imagine any MSM outlet agreeing to suppress video of McCain toasting Timothy McVeigh.

Of course they are suppressing the video - its something that tarnishes the armor of The Messiah.
If it featured John McCain instead of Obama it would be on 24/7 spin cycle on all the major networks.

You will recall that the LA Times is the same paper that refused to allow its reporters to write about the Edwards' affair and love child (strange, given his campaign was already over.)

There is an old saying: Common Sense is not that Common! Open your eyes people - there is more controversy with this Obama guy than any other presidential candidate in US history. Did you ever make a decision with your emotions - it just doesn't work out well when you do. Come on America - it's a clear choice on November 4th. So what if Bush didn't do so well over his last 4 years - don't blame it all on him. Plus, McCain is not Bush! Don't dwell on the negatives - dwell on the positives. Ceasing to complain one time each day removes 365 seeds of negativity per year!

Unfortunately OB Rasputen has mesmerized too many voters. Amazing as it is he uses the oldest debating and conn artists speech in the books That is to either redirect the focus of a question to something else, ex in the 3rd debate when Mcaine brought up Ayers he quickly responded "Professor Ayers" and I was only 8 years old when he exploded the bomb and lets get on with what the American People are interested in like the economy. The economy was not the question at that time. One of his other tricks is to speak goblede goop ex when he made a speech in Chicago about the Civil Rights movement he indicated that it was good but tragectly didn't go far enough to help the people on the ground etc etc etc. Listen closely too his words and its vey much like some comedians use to get laughs. But these are small issues compared to the basic thing that he is constitutionally not qualified, based on not showing adaquatly verifiable proof that he is a naural born citizen and continues to block all efforts to show that information to the voting publics satisfaction. He knows thathe is not even qualified to pass a thoroug background check to look at classified government documents. How could anybody run for the presidency knowing that they will ultimately have to take an oath to uphold the constitution and hypocrytically piss on the constitution at the same time. Only if you dont care about this Country would you behave as he has.If he could prove otherwise he would surly have done it early on and not allow these rediculuous diffuse efforts of trying to pass off some home made images on the DNC website and get some other Lacky's to blow more coverup smoke our way. He is smarter than to try that stunt but apparently had too. Listen to his speeches that claim he wants to be a citizen of the world not just of Amaerica when hes conning international audiences.
Elect Obama and in 10 years we wont be energy independent as he claims to want, we wont even be a functioning free democracy and few will be left in the world. The man is super dangerous because he knows how to con the public, does not hesitate to shut down contrary media reports. Look how well he surpessed so much about his background for so long.
Give him the keys to this beautiful America and it will take a lot of time and American lives to make it beatiful again.
