If Obama was running on a republican ticket...you know, he never would've made it on the republican ticket in the first place. But, who are we to question the birthplace of the messiah.*sarcasm*

I think the time is right to start pushing for a viable third party. The idea being to draw from the middle and divide the fringes of both parties. This would force the Congress to actually have to compromise and alter the chairmanship assignments.

Politics is like a pendulum and right now it has about reached it's max on a leftward swing. Once buyer's remorse sets in on an Obama term it will come back to the right. After all it does take a while for the leftist mind to realize the consequences of their actions. Unfortunately that's taken forty years in the affordable housing arena and I'm not sure it has actually sunken in yet. Hopefully after a few prison sentences and investigations it will.

I don't think Obama is capable of actually making any substantial changes to our government. He will spend his only term trying to be re-elected to a second term. He will tax and spend and our economy will flounder for a few years and then we will elect a replacement who can only be better.

I do wish he would produce a properly stamped copy of his birth certificate instead of the non-stamped version on his website. I think the main thing he is hiding by not having the actual document on his website is his father's ethnicity as recorded by Hawaiin officials. I suspect the original document records the father as being "Negro" instead of "African" and that Obama made sure the document is rendered a non-legal document(and thus not a forgery) by removing the seal mark thus giving him an out if the actual document is ever released. Have you noticed that the COLB on his website states that any alteration renders it an invalid document and at the top it has clearly been altered. There's one for the nuanced Left.

But of great interest to me is this:

His own site admits he was a dual national. To me that is not the intent of the Constitution's authors as natural born.

Yes, of course that's what he SAYS, but then he WOULD, wouldn't he? He shows this supposed document, then goes on as if "case closed" his starry-eyed followers should go out and spread the word.

I've seen enough forensic evidence to make this look like an absolute amateur hack job even next to the blatant failure of the Dan Rather documents attempting to condemn W during the last campaign. It's not just about a word which would currently be pejorative but that in contemporary usage would have been normal. It has a bad smell about it all its own.

In connection to the idea of harm to one's family, I have to say, these guys make their decisions, and that includes exposing members of their families to whatever they bring on. I still have to wonder what Chelsea Clinton is going to think if she ever realizes that she only ever existed as a prop.

The Constitution provides that only a natural-born citizen of the United States may serve as president, but there is absolutely no mechanism to enforce that. If the people vote for the electors pledged to the Obama/Biden ticket vote for Barack Obama for president, giving them a majority, if those electors choose to vote for Mr Obama, there is not one thing that can be done about it.

The only possible method of dealing with this is impeachment and removal, but even that option requires that he actually become president before he can be impeached.

Dana, he can be arrested for FRAUD and running for office under false pretenses. If he is inelegable for the office, he can be arrested by they very Secret Service agents assigned to him if he does not step down.

how are u going to arrest Obama let alone impeach him when our goverment didn't impeach clinton and even if he had been Gore would have pardoned him just like Ford and Nixon.
Unfortunately the people of this country need to realize that polititions DO NOT CARE about the tax payers until election years. then they pull the strings and watch us fight over who should be in office. when no one really gets the job done that needs to be done. if our govm't can't figure out if he's a natural, they must really want him in , and if we have to have a nonnatural then i say let's elect arnold and get it over with I LOVE THIS COUNTRY AND I SUPPORT OUR TROOPS THEN AND NOW. so let's bring them home.
