If Obama Wins, Damage Likely to Be Permanent
So what if Obama is elected? After four years, Americans will realize they've been sold a bill of goods by the left-wing media, and vote him back out again. Then we can live happily ever after. Right?
Wrong. Four years is more than enough time to inflict permanent damage on this country, given the large majorities the moonbat messiah is likely to have in both houses of Congress. The Wall Street Journal warns that if Dems get BHO in the White House and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, we will enter "a period of unchecked left-wing ascendancy."
Among the consequences:
Socialized medicine. This gargantuan entitlement would be extremely difficult to repeal, and would inevitably lead to low-quality, rationed healthcare in the short term, national bankruptcy in the long term.
Hostile business climate. Nancy Pelosi says the government has "harsh decisions" to make regarding assigning blame and doling out punishment for the financial panic. The ball and chain Sarbanes-Oxley put on American business will feel like a sweatband compared to the shackles coming next. The first victims will be the financial, energy, telecom, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries. Needless to say, this will not shorten the economic downturn. Fortunately for Democrats, the worse the economy, the more cover they have to inflict socialism, making it worst still. This vicious spiral will not stop until communist America finds itself rooting through Dumpsters for food.
Union supremacy. Unions are a cancer that have all but killed the American auto industry. Dems want to do away with secret ballot elections so that intimidation tactics can be used to make them vastly more powerful. The Orwellian "Employee Free Choice Act" — supported by Obama — entails forcing businesses to recognize a union even where the majority of workers don't want to unionize.
Taxes. Obviously an economic slowdown is not a good time to raise taxes. Yet Obama has made it clear he will jack taxes through the ceiling. Supposedly this will only affect "the rich." Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of economics knows that it will hurt us all by crippling the economy.
Ecolunacy. Cap and trade schemes based on the fictional global warming crisis would make a recession permanent by inflicting punitive taxation on all economically productive activity. I hope the polar bears appreciate it.
Voting rights. Election-day voter registration is already leading to chaos in Ohio. This would likely go national, as anything that facilitates voter fraud helps Democrats, whose appeal is to moral degenerates who don't feel they should have to earn anything, including election victories. Felons may get the right to vote nationwide — another big boon to Democrats, for obvious reasons.
Freedom of speech. Some new form of the "Fairness Doctrine" would be employed to shut up Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and anyone else who might use the airwaves to rally resistance against socialism. Next the Left would target the Internet, under the guise of "net neutrality." But don't worry, Keith Olbermann will still to be around to keep you informed.
Special interests. It will be Christmas every day for teachers unions and trial lawyers. There are limits to how much damage termites can do to a structure before it is no longer sound.
Terrorism. Look for O.J. Simpson–style civil courts for every last foreign terrorist who comes into custody. Hamas has its reasons for endorsing Obama.
As the WSJ concludes:
In both 1933 and 1965, liberal majorities imposed vast expansions of government that have never been repealed, and the current financial panic may give today's left another pretext to return to those heydays of welfare-state liberalism. Americans voting for "change" should know they may get far more than they ever imagined.
If the media gets its way next month, moonbattery may corrode America past the point of no return.
On a tip from Varla.

God help u.s. - we need to spend some time on our knees before we're forced to do so.

This nation was designed by very smart people. People much, MUCH smarter than most of those that lately seek and hold public office. Our nation is much too strong for obamessiah and the likes of san fran nan and her ilk.
Liberty is stronger and more resiliant than the dim witted, socialist dolts that are in government today. Once socialized medicine is "experienced" by the people, it won't take long for it to be "thrown on the ash heap of history" as will the rest of their "fairness" ideas. A people that once enjoyed liberty and abundance, now deprived of it, will certainly change their government. Nobody said it won't be painful, but MAYBE the best way to learn that it is NOT the way life should be is to EXPERIENCE it. Hopefully we won't have to go there.

Let's not forget some of the other casualties that await us:
Complete disarming of the population.
Gutting of the military.
Awarding citizenship to the invading hoards, thereby throwing the door wide open for even more to come.
Banning all sane energy alternatives, driving up the price of everthing. $10/gallon gas.
Hate crime legislation on steroids.
Stacking of the Supreme Court with radical leftist judges, effectively neutralizing the Constitution.

Hudson: Well that's great, that's just fuckin' great, man. Now what the fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty shit now man...
Hicks: Are you finished?
Hudson: That's it man, game over man, game over! What the fuck are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do?
Burke: Maybe we could build a fire, sing a couple of songs, huh? Why don't we try that?

Well, the $10,000-$20,000 in additional self-employment taxes my company (me) will pay won't be coming back to me at the end of four years. The "reform" that will cost me a bunch of money is in Charlie Rangel's bill HR3970 - it expands the application of the full 14% "self employment" (social security) tax to all business income of S-corps. S-corps are all small businesses, and mine makes less than $250k per year, but guess what? Yep, my taxes are going up when that bill passes and is signed by the Messiah.
Just thought I'd mention this again in case anybody actually believes only "rich folks" making more than $250k will see a tax increase.
Anyway, this is all assuming I still do good business, which is also doubtful. Maybe I'll only pay an extra $5000 when business hits the socialist skids.

Don't forget 2, maybe 3 (in the first 4 years...in 8,???), Justices to the SCOTUS; all to the left of Ginsberg--those are lifetime appointments with no successful impeachment of a Justice (was only tried once and failed) ever. Just imaigne, do I have to expalin? Of course, that's not to mention the 100s of Fed judges that will be placed to boot!

If there is any damage, I don't think any of you will notice. You've watched your country become completely dismantled, watched core american principles tossed off, watched one finacial, military, and foreign policy disaster after another after 8 years of a republican administration, under easily the most ignorant, incompetent and idiotic presidents in modern memory.
You didn't give two shits then, and you're not gonna care in the future. Sure you might post a few angry comments to some blog, but you're not gonna do anything about it.

The damage will permanent because Obama and Co. will seize control of education. They are totoally committed to this. Of all the Obama's shady associates Bill Ayers probably matters the most, because he is the key to understanding the agenda of the camp Obama represents and the the means they are going to use to achieve their goals. Once Obama gives education to Ayers and his followers, the next generation of American kids will be conditioned to believe in the same ideas that drove Ayers to bomb the Pentagon. And then American parents will start hearing questions like Dad, what was that thing you said about President Obama.

Good. The radical right wing had their chance - didn't work.
For all you wingnuts ranting about Obama - spend your time trying to be successful and achieve something instead of whining. Have the guts to make somebody proud of you by getting off your asses and away from your computers and actually living your lives

I'm a small business owner in North Dakota on business in Canada at the moment, a friend showed me this site and I have to mention one thing, hasn't the damage to the U.S. already been done?
We're in a war on borrowed money, we have a financial crisis that came from both sides of the aisle and the White House.
Please people, be a little open minded about all this.
