Delaware State Police Prevent Elderly Woman From Buying a Gun
Handguns have been called "equalizers," because they permit even the frailest among us to exercise the fundamental right of self-defense — except in Joe Biden-Land:
Delaware State Police stopped Alvina Vansickle from purchasing a .22-caliber pistol for self-defense because she was too old and a woman, said Superintendent Col. Thomas MacLeish.
Needless to say, the 81-year-old Mrs. Vansickle needed the gun all the more for being old and a woman.
Fortunately some of us are still American enough to object to the suppression of our Constitutional liberties. In the ensuing uproar, Mrs. Vansickle was allowed to purchase the revolver — and it was revealed that Delaware State Police have been keeping lists of gun buyers for years, despite legal requirements to destroy the records after 60 days.
Such lists will come in handy when an Obama/Biden Administration starts confiscating firearms, so as to leave us all as vulnerable as elderly women in the face of a heavily armed regime and the lowlife thugs it will represent.

Took here long enough to wake up.
The only hope now is that alot of people are lying to pollsters. The other day a pollster called me and I told him I was voting for Obama - even though Id never actually vote for him in a million years. LOL!
I guess if the BIG O wins I wont be on the enemies list.

God bless her 81-year-old heart. Wonder what it is like to live in such a state as that. Oh wait, I might learn the answer to that question soon enough.

When Obama received the nomination I am sure I heard many heads exploding as majority of my VERY liberal friends (and 1 ex-husband) are the most racist people I have ever known, and we're all from California! (Except the ex-husband who is from Detroit, Michigan and claims that he has a right to hate %igg*rs because he was beat up by them so many times.) Many of my so-called "liberal" friends have used the N word to describe the likes of people who are near in complextion to Obama. I'm assuming many of them simply aren't voting this year, but I'll have to leave it at assumption because not 1 of them have contacted me trying to sway me to their side.

I don't know about anybody else, but I don't care much for some police functionary styling himself a Colonel. Want to be a Col? Join the U.S. Army, Air Force, or Marine Corps. In McLeich case, maybe it should Oberst and the organization the Waffen S.S.

Tragic. Doesn't mean I have a problem with guns though. When I read about someone getting killed by a drunk-driver, it doesn't give me a phobia about cars.

If the scumbag who did this used a hammer to do the killing would we be talking about banning hammers? Of course not. Politicians who are interested in suppressing our ability to be self-sufficient and capable of resisting tyranny use incidents like this to cause an emotional response that leads to empassioned demand for gun control laws. Many less-informed Americans assume that gun-control laws are pushed by Democrats because it's for our own good, but some of us know the real reason. We've seen it again and again. It's sad that so many will only know when it's too late.
