Remember J.D. Hayworth, the conservative Arizona Congressman who was always willing to take the bull by the horns, especially regarding the illegal alien crisis? He was voted out in 2006, largely as a result of a bogus smear campaign by the execrable Arizona Repugnant, and replaced by Hip Hop Harry Mitchell, who campaigned as a conservative Democrat, but has been a dependable if clueless tool of Nancy Pelosi.
Congress's loss has been Phoenix radio listeners' gain, as J.D. now has a highly informative show on KFYI. But Mitchell took his seat on false pretenses and we need it back. David Schweikert — a true conservative backed by the Club for Growth — stands a good chance to reclaim it, but he will need help. Contributions can be made via the RightBlogs' Slate below. With crashing markets and people paralyzed by fear and socking away cash, these guys, as good as they are, dont really stand a chance. I guess it will take two years of Che Obama before people really wake up and vote out the DEMONcrats in Congress like they did in 1994. But will it be too late?
