3 1/2 hours to showtime for me! As long as it doesn't suck, I plan on seeing it a few times this weekend just to help the box office a bit.

I'll catch it tomorrow. I've been avaoiding movies for the past few years, there has been so little worth laying out ten bucks.

Ok, my first attempt at a film review...

I Loved it! It wasn't a laugh-a-minute riot like "Airplane!" or "Naked Gun". Think of it more like an excellent morality tale, a very good twist on Dickens' classic, but with an assload of really good jokes. Not as funny as I had HOPED, but still a riot. Just overall a really good film. Quite a few small sight gags in the background that nobody else in the theater seemed to catch (the ACLU Zombie-lawyers chasing an ambulance comes to mind), so be alert. There's even a musical number!

Highly recommended. 8 out of 10. Shows potential. Maybe Zucker will do another?

Please?

I'm looking forward to it.

I saw it this evening and enjoyed it. Not for those that get offended at Political Incorrectness.

The theatre made us sit through the previews of the new Oliver Stone film on GWB and the preview received a healthy round of "boos".

Send a message to Hollywood this weekend, go see this movie!

Saw it in Arlington VA tonight.

Not bad ... not a comedic masterpiece like Naked Gun, etc. Quite a few funny moments, and a very small handful of hysterical moments, including tenured 60's hippie professors and ACLU zombies, surrounded by mostly mediocre writing. Very politically incorrect; that aspect was fun. An opportunity to have a movie about moonbattery was passed over in favor of having a movie about Michael Moore, which was kind of a waste since nobody cares about Moore anymore.

Didn't suck but could've been better. B-

It's playing in Tampa, Oldsmar and Palm Harbor, too far to go with these gas prices.

OK, so I'm a cheepskate.

I just saw it, I LOVED it!
It really did an excellent job of skewering liberalism in its various forms (Hollywood filimmakers, liberal colleges taught by ex- hippies, etc.) It was also very well- acted, especially by Farley, Grammer, and Voight. Plus, it was just plain hilarious, containing excellent amounts of both political humor, and Zucker's trademark slapstick humor. The only real problem I had with the movie was I felt it was a little too short. They should have had more scenes with the Angel of Death (i.e. Showing more of America under sharia law, and the other consequences of Malone's hate- mongering), and especially more scenes with George Washington (Going more in depth on the roles that faith and patriotism played in the founding of America).
Other than that, it was a wonderful movie. When the credits rolled, much of the audience applauded, and I happily joined in!
I heartily recommend 'An American Carol'!
