WaPo Caught in Blatant Anti-Palin Lie

The Obamunist media hasn't managed to improve its line of attack on Sarah Palin, which consists of going for the throat of her pregnant 17-year-old daughter. The Washington Post let fly with this headline:

Palin Slashed Funding for Teen Moms

Even though her own teen daughter became pregnant! How awful!

Except the alleged "slashing" was actually a threefold increase.

It has reached the point where you literally cannot believe a word you read in the mainstream media. They will tell you that today is Saturday, the 32nd of February, if they think it will hurt Sarah Palin or help the preposterous Obama candidacy.

Hat tips: Michelle Malkin, Ace of Spades HQ; on a tip from mandible claw.

They are not journalists, they are liars. Believe nothing the MSM says; if they tell you water is wet don't buy it.

"What is it exactly that the VP does every day?"
- Sarah Palin aka Sarah Pawlenty

You can see her ask that question here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loUHRv3ipLE

Yeah, that's exactly the sort of person you want a heartbeat away from a 72 year-old presidential candidate.

Palin is going to provide plenty of unintentional laughs in the next few weeks. This will be fun!

Way to stay on topic there Markus, you're brilliant. Of course, this is a majory gaffe, and completely disqualifies Palin from even running. She should be ashamed and drop herself from the ticket.

Of course, by the same token, Obama should drop out for thinking there's 52 states. Or was it 57? Biden should drop out for his racial slur about Indians. I mean, that's way worse than this supposed gaffe isn't it? Or are you just an ass-clown hypocrite, typical of the loony left?

Posted by: cowlove at September 4, 2008 10:07 AM

Sarah knows what the President of the United States of America does, and she's orders of magnitude more capable of filling that position than the Obamassiah. But when it comes to the VP, exactly what are the daily duties of the VP, Marxus?

John Garner said the VP spot wasn't worth a bucket of warm spit, and I think he knew this a bit better than you, Marxus.

Posted by: Lyle at September 4, 2008 10:10 AM

They're still going at it. Today they're claiming an increase in the budget for special needs kids was actually a cut.

51% of people in this poll say the media is trying to hurt Sarah Palin. The other 49% are in severe dangerous of suffocating themselves while empting plastic grocery bags.

Posted by: V the K at September 4, 2008 10:22 AM

Markus, I'd rather have her a "heartbeat" away from the Presidency than your manchild Obama as the ACTUAL president.

Obama will be president of all 57 states!

Posted by: Anonymous at September 4, 2008 10:23 AM

Obama will be president of all 57 states!

For ten years! He'll also meet with the President of Canada, although all he'll be able to say is "Merci Beaucoup," and that only if the Teleprompter is working that day.

...and the hate-frenzy intensifies. I've never seen anything like it.

The press is going to CRUCIFY this woman. Remember, now the motto is "Lie at all costs, never mind that it will be found out to be untrue. Lie, lie, lie and if enough lies and hate are thrown out there, it'll have an effect."

She was so good it scared them. Obama looks like a stammering idiot next to this woman. In fact, as I wrote this, I realized that I'm doing the same thing everyone else is: comparing her to OBAMA. Biden doesn't even get thought of anymore.

The Repub's have hit a home run, and the NY Times, NBC, et. al. will spin it as "Mother of five neglects children, drags McCain ticket down" or some such BS. The Hate-Fest has just begun.

Maybe the libtards at WAPO are not lying. Maybe their math skills from the moonbat school systems taught them that a large number + a large number = a cut.

I'll rather take a candidate who doesn't know wha the VP does than a candidate who thinks the mere act of being the figurehead of a campaign qualifies him to be president.

I'll rather take her than someone who associates with terrorists.

I'll rather take her than someone who suggested that the UN security council should denounce Russia for what it did in Georgia.

I'll rather take her than someone who thinks that the kind of government officials who botched the response to Katrinah should be in charge of national healthcare.

I'll rather take a courageous mother who stood up for her beliefs and didn't abort her latest pregnancy than someone who voted in favor of leaving live-birth abortion babies to die.

The change Barack Obama stands for is foreign political defeat, less personal freedom, less economic freedom and more dead babies.

Matt, you've nailed it. The current meme is "Obama mostly compares favorably to Palin," and "Obama's experience probably as good as Palin's, right?"

Except, Obama's running for President.

I'm really amused by the Biden situation. Republicans have an energetic, young, next-generation VP who is going to rock this election fight to the core, everyday from now to Nov 4, and the Party of Change is stuck with an old tired windbag with hairplugs who rides the train to work or something.

I will withhold further gloating until we see if McCain nails it tonight, plus how much O'Reilly The Tool's self-absorbed interview of the Messiah two hours prior messes things up. But...if Obama fails to re-Messiahize tonight, and McCain lights it up (improbable, I admit), then it will be time for much gloating and glee.

McCain in tonights speech should open with this:

"Im really sorry about the sets here, my styrofoam greek temple columns were shipped to the wrong address somewhere in Denver instead of here."

I love the heartbeat away line. I bet the Obamanatics took a week to come up with it. As I see it, the biggest difference between Palin and the Jugeared Jerk is that she actually believes and lives what she says. Obama is merely a construct of the far left loonies that does little more than spout platitudes.

O-BOMB-A is the Manchurian Candidate. God forbid he get his hands on the nuclear "football".

Posted by: Anonymous at September 4, 2008 11:46 AM

The viscious, concentrated attack on Palin tells you all you need to know about how much they fear her. Unless McCain shits his pants or has a Viet Nam flashback, this race is over. Not only is this race over, but Palin WILL be our first woman president. Bank on it.

mega, you just said something that I haven't considered: the "Next Generation".

I mean, it's obvious in a way, but now that you said that, I have a feeling that is another BIG reason for all the flak. If she does well, if McCain/Palin wins this fall, she'll be a national figure for the next 20-30 years.

OOOOH, how the libs would hate that!

Posted by: matt at September 4, 2008 4:30 PM

Matt,

Newt just made that very same statement on the O'Riley Factor (like two minutes ago).

Ya beat him to it.

If McCain plays this correct, he may leave the right a very solid legacy to build on.
