Spinning Faster…

Having alienated women voters by calling Sarah Palin a pig, the plunging Obamessiah is spinning like a dervish, now claiming that McCain is the pig, and Palin is the lipstick. I'm sure this will make women feel much better.

When a plane goes into a tailspin, it does two things. First it spins, faster and faster. Then it crashes in a ball of flame.

Hat tip: Newsoftheday; on a tip from Burning Hot.

So, instead of the gap-toothed bumpkin governor of a hick state whose dysfunctional family proves she's not worthy of the vice presidency... the Obama campaign is now saying she's a disposable fashion accessory.

Keep on showing that Ike-Turner-like respoect for women, Barry-O.

The Obamasiah campaign is swimming up stream in a foot of water and nobody has the sense to just stand up and walk.

Posted by: Tom at September 11, 2008 8:47 AM

You guys really are sticking to this, huh? Even if pretty much every reasonable human being on the planet has pretty much agreed the comment wasn't about her? Keep at it, I guess.

(oh, and just to save you the bandwith, I'll respond for Moonbat Inspector General, so he doesn't have to waste the keystrokes)

"Shut up BT. You are stupid and all libtards are stupid and Hussein Obama is a Muslim, and you are stupid".

Glad I could help out.

Realization: "How's the foot taste, there, Barry?"

Post Turtle: "Uh, that's, uh, not, uh, what I, uh, meant."

bt: "See, that's not what he meant! He said so himself, and if you don't believe his every word, you're obviously irrational."

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at September 11, 2008 9:58 AM

Why does Obama keep this thing alive by talking about it on a talk show?

And why doesnt he talk to Letterman about all the lies his campaign is spreading about Palin? Oh no, he mustnt talk about that.

No, Obama isnt a Muslim - he has only 1 god ... himself. Though if he had to take sides he would choose Muslims over regular Americans. After all he did say if things turned ugly he would stand with THEM (not with them including all other Americans, just THEM).

Posted by: Anonymous at September 11, 2008 10:04 AM

Mr. Evilwrench, how does joking around with David Letterman change anything? How is that "foot in mouth"?

Believing every word from ANY politician is irrational, I agree. But it's got absolutely NOTHING to do with what Obama "said". He could deny it 100 times and still be lying. It has everything to do with context and logic. He wasn't talking about her, and he would have been incredibly stupid to talk about her in that way.

My God, take off the conservative glasses for just a millisecond, and apply some rational thought. I know Obama is the spawn of Satan, but you guys are really reaching here.

Posted by: bt at September 11, 2008 10:04 AM

Well put bt. You and Hussein are everything that you wrote. I knew you would come around and admit the truth of Hussein's Muslim-ness. Step one is to admit your many failures. Now step two is to get some much needed mental therapy for the KIODS that plagues your kind.

Posted by: Moonbat Inspector General at September 11, 2008 10:08 AM

Nice try Moonbat, but I'm not falling for it. I'm clearly stupid, but not dumb enough to go toe to toe with you and your legendary rapier wit. I'll just say that I have not admitted my failures yet, but I'm sure after more unshakably logical diatribes from you, that day is just around the corner

I have to admit though, I'm not sure what KIODS is. I assume it ends in derangement syndrome, because I know Liberals can never actually have a legitimate gripe, they are all "derangement syndromes".

Posted by: bt at September 11, 2008 10:30 AM

It's spin. The context as it was doesn't say much to me at all, and the context he's claiming comes across as retcon. He's backpedalling, and I don't have any trouble at all accepting that he would be stupid enough to say something like that, or at least arrogant enough to think he should be able to get away with it.

Anyway, as awful as it is to contemplate the real horror and wrongness of him and his candidacy, it's refreshing to just watch him turn on the spit a while, and snark a bit. Why don't you go call out some kostards on some of their comments while you're online?

Keep drinking the kooaid bt. And I would love to have a battle of the wits with you but alas you would have come unarmed. LOL moonbat

I have finally figured out why the moonbats like bt come here to post their 1st grade jibber-jabber. It is because they hate their lsoing team and want to join ranks with the winners of the White House. Congrats bt! Now go home and change your diapers

"Even if pretty much every reasonable human being on the planet has pretty much agreed the comment wasn't about her? Keep at it, I guess."

~What planet are you on? Even Obama's own supporters know full well that comment was about Palin. Of course, calling the other ticket's VP candidate a pig isn't anything to proud of, especially if you're pretending to transcend the same old politics-as-usual, so Obama has to likewise pretend his comment was harmless. The thing is though, he can't get his supporters to toe the party line. Maybe you should head on over there and straighten them out, instead of wasting your time being a complete moron over here.

Posted by: cowlove at September 11, 2008 11:19 AM

You guys are great. Moonbat spells the word "school" wrong on another rant against me, and double posts here, all in an effort to call me stupid. Cowlove just calls me a moron. I'll ignore Moonbat's cleverness, and try to respond to the points cowlove and evilwrench made.

Evil, I won't go correct any "kostards" because I pretty much never read dailykos. I'll go if linked there, but I'm not a big fan.

Cowlove, I'm on the same planet that crazy moonbat's like Bill O'Reilly, the guys at Politico, and the editorial page at the Washington Post both say how absolutely misguided your accusations are. I'm on the planet that has people who don't believe ANYTHING, simply because it makes the other party look bad. You know, planet Earth.

Seriously, I am stunned that anyone actually believes this nonsense. I certainly can understand if you guys want to push this because you think it might help your guy win in November, I can certainly believe you WANTING it to be true, but to have a mindset in which you ACTUALLY believe the crap the McCain camp is shoveling, is mind boggling.

Posted by: bt at September 11, 2008 12:12 PM

bt, your problem is that you assume I'm simply spewing talking points. I saw the video. Obama is clearly making a joke, albeit a poorly timed and sexist one, about Palin. As I showed you in the link I've supplied numerous times, even Obama's own supporters at Democrats.org clearly acknowledge the Palin reference in his gaffe. Even without the link, the reaction of the crowd as they listened in real-time demonstrates, without a doubt, Obama's intent.

Spin away you whirling dervish. I called you a moron before, and I'll call you one again, because you won't just admit Obama made an error in judgement by committing this idiotic gaffe.

Unless, of course, you think calling the other ticket's VP candidate a pig is "rising above the fray."

Posted by: cowlove at September 11, 2008 12:21 PM

bt you are stupid. You say stupid things like "I'm clearly stupid". If you admit to being stupid please do not argue the fact. It makes you even more stupid than Obama saying the lipstick thing without the foresight of a backlash.

"dumb is (bt) as dumb does"

Come home this instant and change your diapers!

Posted by: bt's Mommy at September 11, 2008 12:52 PM

cowlove, you supplied a link in which immature democrats are calling Palin a pig. That means absolutely nothing. Even IF those knotheads think Obama was talking about Palin, all that proves is that knotheads believe he was talking about Palin (draw your own conclusions). I'm not spinning anything. Bill O'Reilly agrees with me. Is he a noted Obama spinner? Mark Halperin? Politico? WaPo?

Spade, you need to brush up on your understanding of sarcasm. Unless you are attempting it there. If so, bad job. But welcome to the vast number of intelligent posters on this esteemed board whose main defense of anything they disagree with is "you are stupid".

bt's mommy: That's really the best you can do? Sad.

Posted by: bt at September 11, 2008 2:05 PM

Still you waste your time in this room. If anyone was the moron it would be you. If your purpose was to come in and preach us the gospel according to BO then you are a clueless moron. If you came in here just to read people calling you an imbecile, than not only is that sad, it is highly moronic. No matter how you slice it, the truth of the matter is that intelligence was not your strong suit, similar to all Husseinophiles.

That, bt, is sad

Posted by: Call a Spade a Spade at September 11, 2008 2:49 PM

Spade, guys, look....

It's clear that even attempting discuss this with bt (BamaTron?) is an excercise in utter futility, not unlike entering into a 30-minute discourse on the disasterous failures of Jimmy Carter's foray into Keynesian Economics with a fully attentive five-pound block of government cheese.

It is clear from simply watching the reaction of the crowd, the liberal blogs, and simply the media shit-storm that ensued, that this comment by The Annointed One certainly has been taken by an extremely large number of people as a slur pointed directly at Sarah Palin. Given the timing, so soon on the heels of her Convention speech, one must actively avert one's eyes not to make the inference that so many of His worshippers did at the moment He spoke. It also requires an actively closed mind not see how anyone could possible make this inference. That requires a serious mental or moral defect, or the mindlessness of a True Believer.

I, personally, don't think bt is stupid. He/She/It (I'll use the eeeeevil un-pc but grammatically correct 'he' henceforth) is clearly well-educated, which infers a certain mental ability on his part. Unless of course he went to Berkeley, but I digress. No, bt is far from stupid, but clearly is a True Believer. The points of this argument have been made to him on several occasions, in this thread and others. Has he responded? No. He falls back and parrots his previous statements. He does so much less as an uneducated and/or mentally defective incompetent as he does with the voice of an evangelist. Unwilling to accept the possibility that his Bible may not be infallible, he simply spouts more scripture to prove that it is. This is less arguement on his part, and more sermonizing. Blind faith, the opposite of wisdom and reason, seem to be his pervue.

A wise man, willing to open his mind to possibilities outside his limited viewpoint, would be hard-pressed to refute the following:

That the statement in question could easily be taken by at least some people, in the context of it's timing, as a personal invective directed at Gov. Palin.

A True Believer could never agree with this statement, as it would require a suspension (even briefly) of his blind faith to look outside of the worldview he has constructed and gaze beyond the "cult of personality" that surrounds The Messiah. Thus, bt claims The Anointed One certainly did not mean his statement at such, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. Perhaps bt's education included Parapsychology, as he certainly intends us to believe that he has heightened skills of Telepathy which allow him to read The Anointed One's mind. Hell, maybe he did go to Berkeley.

A wise man, on the other hand, would, even if grudgingly, agree that the above statement is true. Logically one must therefore conclude that The Messiah either:

a) Intended this as an attack, but didn't think this through it's possible ramifications, which is not a positive quality in a President.

b) Spoke without thinking, likewise not a positive quality.

c) Thought it through, but grossly underestimated the ratio of positive-to-negative feedback he'd conjure, another quality undesireable in someone expected to negotiate with the likes of Putin, Chavez, et al, and act as Commander-in-Chief

d) Intended this as an attack backed by "plausible deniability", in that he could spin it into the present "unjust indignation" story (but still get the subliminal slur into the minds of the "sheeple"). This would clearly blow the lid off of his "Change" mantra and land him squarely in the camp of politics as usual, LBJ-style.

To admit any of the above logical outcomes is impossible for a True Believer; for to allow one crack in his carefully constructed armor of blindness invites another, and another, until he sees the farce for what it is. He sees that he has been mis-lead into following a false prophet, a Marxist-in-Democrat-clothing, a real-life Manchurian Candidate.

Don't hate bt, or call him stupid. Pity him if anything. In two months, his world will collapse.

hiram
Very articulate response and I do agree with almost all. I can't for the life of me understand how a person, like bt, comes here into a conservative blog (unless he is a troll) and spout the sermon according to BO and expect us to agree with him. The video and the audience are plain to see. I digress as well. Although I have visited other more liberal blogs to see how the Left is angry and hateful, I have never engaged in one because it is futile, leads to a back and forth like this and just mean. I do not hate bt but do pity him for the abuse he takes and apparently gets off on.
