Randi Rhodes: McCain Was Well Treated at Hanoi Hilton
Via The Radio Equalizer, here's how Air America klaxon and avid Obama supporter Randi Rhodes describes the years of torture John McCain endured at the hands of Vietnamese communists because he wouldn't accept release before others who had been incarcerated longer:
Of course he (McCain) became very friendly with the Vietnamese. They called him the Prince. He was well treated actually.
Sure, communists are nice folks. They denied McCain medical treatment for life-threatening injuries, stabbed him with a bayonet, clubbed him with a rifle butt, beat him incessantly, left him tied overnight in torture ropes, broke his teeth off at the gumline, et cetera. But unlike the oppressed terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, he didn't have to deal with the AC turned up too high, annoying Christina Aguilera music, or underinflated balls in the rec room.
Rodent confirms for us once again that progressives have not progressed to the point of grasping the concept of respect where it's due.

On tips from V the K and Byron.

Comments like that are why anyone who believes like her deserves not respect, but the utmost contempt.

No wonder Air America is in Chapter 11 with lunatics like Rhodes spending their days smoking weed and listening scratched Grateful Dead albums.

And I guess the Jews in Dachau were just there for crafts and weight loss, always laughing and joking with the staff? Those SS guards were such kidders! A laugh a minute!
Drink up, Randi.

The lib-turds never cease to amaze me with the depths of depravity and ignorance that they stoop to on a daily basis. Just when you think they can't go any lower, a nipplehead like Rhodes comes out with this tripe.

I don't know...maybe Mrs. (Ms.?) Rhodes has a point. I mean, I could deal with being beaten and bayonetted, torture ropes, broken teeth, and not being able to raise my arms above my head for the rest of my life due to no medical care for my traumatic injuries - really, if you need to reach above your head, just marry a tall chick or something - but I don't think I could deal with Christina Aguilera music. No sir. Every man has his limitations.

Randi, you ignorant slut, John McCain is an American hero. Imperfect, human, with failings...like all others. I don't agree 100% with his politics either. BUT THE MAN PUT IT ALL ON THE LINE FOR HIS COUNTRY, AND PAID ALL BUT THE ULTIMATE PRICE.
Have you seen him walk? Have you seen him try to raise his arms? Have you thought about the pain he probably feels every day? Have you ever been more than moderately uncomfortable or inconvenienced in your entire pathetic life?
If you were a man, I'd kick your ass. You just DO NOT belittle the kind of hell our POW service men have had to endure.
Since you're a woman, maybe you should just shut the fuck up and not criticize war heros. You see Randi, only a select group have earned that right...via some very special real estate: Bataan, Quadulane, Midway, Saipan, Iwo Jima, Omaha beach, the Kasserine pass, Anzio, the hedgerows in Normandy, Bastogne...
Next time you want to shoot off your mouth about a war hero, remember that you haven't earned that privilege. Only the few can do it, and they never would, knowing what they know. I suggest you read the following. It's the end of the last message from Corregidor:
''My name is Irving Strobing. Get this to my mother, Mrs. Minnie Strobing, 605 Barbey Street, Brooklyn, N.Y. They are to get along O.K. Get in touch with them as soon as possible. Message, my love to Pa, Joe, Sue, Mac, Harry, Joy and Paul. Also to all family and friends. God bless 'em all. Hope they be there when I come home. Tell Joe, wherever he is, go give 'em hell for us. My love you all. God bless you and keep you. Love. Sign my name and tell my mother how you heard from me.''
There was a pause, then ''Stand by,'' then nothing.
These men are heros, Randi. You don't deserve to breath the same air.

The Left continually uses this propaganda to demean and lessen someone on the Right. What were his sources? How is this moonbat in the position to tell us how well treated John McCain was? Was in he in the next cell? Most likely, during Viet Nam this moron was in his mommy's basement wearing nothing but his tidy whitey's and tuning in his radio to some communist network, hoping for American defeat. Any way, wasn't Randy Rhodes the lead guitarist for Ozzy Obsourne? Oh yeah he died. To bad is wasn't Randi spelled with an "i". The libs are truly on the Crazy Train!

She's confusing my legandary guitar work for mindless drivel. Change her name to Betty Bulldyke!

Thanks for posting that pic! I have never seen that - now I am crying at my desk and thinking how f'ing cool it will be to have that man as President.

Randi Rhodes is really Rachel Maddow in drag.

When I served in the seventies, I met and knew several combat veterans. At the time they all seemed taller than I, now I know that it was the way I looked at them, because they had been SHOT AT and BLED for their country. Sure, I did my part and even helped change the way the missle sites are inspected, but MY service pales in comparison to theirs.

"If you were a man, I'd kick your ass. You just DO NOT belittle the kind of hell our POW service men have had to endure."
Think of her as more like a new dog that just pissed on your carpet. Yeah, it really should know better, but in the end, it's just a dog you know? So you rub its nose in it, smack it some, say, "no," and put it outside for a while.
In this case I'd love to rub her nose in some piss and put her in a kennel for the night. Next to McCain's experiences as a POW that actually would be "treated well."
The left truly does hate America and anyone who tries to support or defend it.

Moonbat psychos like Randi Rhodes consider McCain's treatment in Hanoi foreplay.

Someone still pays Rhodes to be on the air? Being Liberal really is a mental disorder.

Don't knock Grateful Dead albums. Some Republicans like them. The guy who runs Classical Values does Dead YouTubes a lot.
Very Republican. And gay friendly. Hates the Drug War.

A modest proposal, comrade Rhodes: the US treat prisoners at Gitmo the way McCain was treated, since he was treated so well.

Political commentators like Rhodes and Oberman persistently engage in political masturbation. Like other public self satisfiers they have a remote awareness that its may offend others but enjoy themselves so much they just can’t stop. But something productive can come out of this. Ask a friend who may be left of center or a democrat how they feel about Rhodes comment. If they condemn it without conditions you can stay friends and enjoy your disagreements for years to come. If they equivocate with say a claim about the rights treatment of their candidate beware. It is an unmistakable indicator of their tolerance and acceptance of pure hate directed at anyone who disagrees with their politics and you may be the next target of their hate. If they want to salvage what’s left of their self respect, the left needs to condemn Rhodes treatment of McCain more than we do.

P.S. Rhodes needs a good caning
