Unfortunately, old white people who don't want Obama to become President are racist pigs. The good news is that it isn't their fault; they have brain damage and are too feeble-minded to even comprehend how racist they are.

Posted by: mega at September 28, 2008 6:12 PM

But of course the fact that 95% of blacks will be voting for Obama has nothing to with racial prejudice does it? You know the ones judging solely by the color of the man's skin and not the content of his character.

Wow mega, how interesting that the article you linked to is entirely devoid of any sort of relevant scientific evidence. It's amazing how easily these sociologists substitute anecdotal stories for scientific study. It's almost like sociology is barely a "study" of anything...

No matter what you say Obama will win. He will lead us into prosperity. Palin has become a nationwide joke and McCain is becoming a gimmick. The only ones that don't see it are the ones living in their mom's basement like you guys.

Posted by: Tim at September 28, 2008 9:12 PM

mega, that is typical liberal crap. You are a racist if you don't vote for Obama.

I am a Republican and I would've gladly voted for Hillary Clinton over John McCain simply because she is more conservative.

Obama is the most liberal candidate ever offered up for consideration as President bar none.

I would vote for Hugo Chavez over this assclown Obama(and I hate Hugo Chavez) but all of his supporters would call me a racist simply because I don't want to elect the least qualified, most left leaning liberal, Presidential candidate ever.

Fuck that, this is the United States of America and I can vote for whoever I want. Calling me a racist for not voting for that inexperienced idiot isn't gonna work on this guy and most of the USA. I hope not anyway... I still remember the grief of what Carter put us through although I was young then.. I don't want to start my 50's in a dead economy which is what Obama will no doubt deliver.

Posted by: Cartman at September 28, 2008 9:23 PM

To me, this political race never was about racism, until Obama’s supporters made it so. Any of you who call someone racist if they don’t vote for Obama, are using your own racist reasoning. If Obama was conservative in any way at all, voting for him would be an option. He’s a likable individual, but his supporters are dragging racism into the foray and then screaming about it!

Posted by: Dwaine at September 28, 2008 9:58 PM

I ask my fellow Moonbattistas here for your opinion on the societal fallout after he loses. Riots, looting, or nothing? Just a few suicides and threats to move to Canada?

In '04 I remember gleefully tuning in to Air America and Democracy Now the morning after Kerry lost. I was hoping to hear cries of agony but the tone was really just resignation. Pretty anticlimactic.

I am really hoping for a show this time; the one we hoped for from Recreate '68 in Denver. What say you guys? Will we get one?

Posted by: Air2air at September 28, 2008 10:32 PM

Seen the Rodney King video? I saw it the first time it aired, before it was edited because the first few minutes were 'grainy'. Rodney, by no means a small man, steps out of his car and starts staggering towards cops. Multiple warnings to stop go unheeded. Eventually, one officer shoots him in the chest with a Taser. He pulls out the wires and keeps advancing... a second Taser shot puts him on his knees, before he pulls those wires out, gets up, and keeps coming. That's when they started beating the crap out of him.

He was clearly f***ed up on PCP, but does that matter? Oh, no, those cops were RAY-CISS!

Of course then we all got to see how multi-cultural and accepting the liberal 'comoonity' was as Reginald Denny got beaten half to death, clubbed in the head multiple times with a fire-extinguisher & suffured permanent brain damage for the crime of being white.

Was there a hate-crime prosecution?

Yeah. Hey libs... pull the other one, it plays jingle bells.

I still think we're on the top of this, as long as we don't give up our guns. We threw off an oppressive government before, and we can do it again if we have to. We're not disarmed like the Euro-peons. They're totally screwed...

Get ready for riots, at least in the major cities. Sight in your scopes and buy a lot of handgun ammo.

I'm just sayin'

Posted by: hiram at September 28, 2008 11:28 PM

Get ready for riots, at least in the major cities.

Yeah, I'm very dubious of this. Riots in major cities over Obama's loss will mean it's going to be a long time before any minority gets the presidential nod again. It would play into the "white racists" fears . . . some folks may suggest it will happen, to try and influence the vote, but that won't work. If Obama loses, people aren't going to riot. Unless you call bastions of lawyers fill swing states and contesting votes "rioting". I think that'll be happening.

But, frankly, I think Obama has a better chance of winning than Kerry did in 2004. Frankly, McCain isn't as appealing a candidate as Bush was (or Palin is). Bush's low approval numbers and the flagging economy are things that don't bode well for the incumbent party . . . in fact, I think if the Dem's had a white guy with an Anglo-Irish name running, they'd be sure to win. Unfortunately, a lot of older white people (kinda like mega said), almost all of them loyal Democrat voters, aren't likely to want to go the route of voting for the first African-American president who also happens to have a name that advertises his Arabic-African ancestry.

While hardly the wholesale bias of 95% of African American's voting for Obama, I think it will be enough to cost him the vote, and no amount of threatening (from the left, mind you) that scary big black people will come riot in your neighborhood if they don't vote for Obama will make these folks change their mind. They want a nice Kerry or Gore vote for. Barrack Hussein Obama? Um, what happened to Hillary? What about that nice John Edwards?

While a large number of people will use an Obama loss as prove that America his still horribly racist, the point will rarely come up that if racism cost Obama the election, it was the racism of reliable Democrat voters. The folks who voted for Kerry and Gore and Clinton who couldn't bring themselves to vote for an African-American named Barrack Hussein Obama.

I told my wife during the debates--she doesn't pay that much attention to political punditry, and did not know--that Barack's middle name was 'Hussein'. She was surprised, said, "Seriously?" Then she shook her head. She liked Barry's performance in the debate, thought he came across really well--liked what he was saying, even. But his name gave her pause, because it suggests there's more to this pretty little package than meets the eye. Right or wrong, I think that's going to be the reaction of more voters than will caught by the polls.

I do think it'll get ugly if the messiah loses. Some of my buds stocking up on hi vel ammo, I think are overdoing it, as we live in the 'burbs; we will never see the fallout. In the inner cities - Detroit, etc. it's gonna be bad. This is no Kerry loss. This election has been intentioanlly framed and manipulated since Day 1 to be an epic struggle of Black America to be accepted as a legitimate political force, as opposed to the nation choosing the best person for the job. Obama himself and his entire campaign have stoked up bitterness and resentment the rest of us barely knew existed, and then stoked it again and again. At this point, to "deny" them the seat of power, as they've basically framed it, is going to lead to some serious shit - the denial of the ultimate handout. But fortunately, the burning, looting, and chaos will take place where it doesn't really impact many people. That's what I think, but I won't deny I've got a few boxes of shells sitting around for a rainy day. OK, a few hundred boxes.

Posted by: mega at September 29, 2008 5:38 AM

If America was not ready for McGovern, Dukakis, or Kerry, what makes anyone now think America is ready for a multi-culti, affirmative action candidate with Marxists creds? Obama will lose Pennsylvania and with it the election. A candidate cannot insult people and then turn around and ask for their vote.

Of course, there will be rioting. Government welfare policy has taught the poor that it's okay to steal. The underclass will loot because short term gain is all they think about. The backlash will set back race relations by a generation, if not more. So much for Mr. Uniter.

Speaking of 100 mph into a house, rodney king

I find it odd that 6 white cops beat a black man and LA explodes into a shit flinging contest that has not been seen out side the san diego zoo

Now fast foward and go to Gina, La 6 black thugs beat a white student and nothing much happens, the people in that town dont have time to protest considering they have jobs and are not wellfare jockeys

From Mega:

"This election has been intentionally framed and manipulated since Day 1 to be an epic struggle of Black America to be accepted as a legitimate political force, as opposed to the nation choosing the best person for the job."

I think that's an excellent point that I had missed until now. Thanks Mega.

Posted by: Air2air at September 29, 2008 6:57 AM

Oh, but Andrew, they DID protest in Jena (it's Jena, just down the road from here. :) ) Oh, they had a massive demonstration with busses full of people demanding justice.... for the thugs. Al Sharpton and Jesse and every other race baiter on earth got involved when the 6 black thugs were actually put on trial and it looked like they might go to jail!

Justice... hah. What the f--- do libs know about Justice.

GOLD, GOD, AND OBAMA

Will Rogers, the Garrison Keillor of a distant generation, famously said that he wasn’t a member of any organized political party, since he was a Democrat, and that people should invest in real estate since it’s the only thing not being made anymore.

In this market, I wouldn’t invest in real estate, or bonds, or most common stocks; I’d buy gold, silver, and other precious metals and stuff them under your mattress until things shake out. (See: http://money.aol.com/.)

Rush A-home-a: Just because the legislation represents the most significant excursion into socialism in our nation’s history, why take the time to debate and consider all the facets of a bailout? (http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20080929/tpl-uk-financial-bailout-d1a0d5d.html)

After all, Rosh Hoshannah is almost upon us, it’s an election year, and who really gives a damn about the economy being in the toilet?

…………………………………………………………………………………….

We will soon see whether it’s true that you can never go broke betting on the ignorance of the American people: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/barackobama/3089433/Barack-Obamas-top-team-believes-he-can-win-White-House-by-a-landslide.html.

If Obama wins, by a landslide or by any margin, buy a few extra mattresses, sell the furniture, hide the kids, save your shekels to pay for reparations, and start learning the details of sharia law because an Obamanian win will irrevocably alter our personal lives and the nature of our nation.

………………………………………………………………………………….

Nowhere in our Constitution is there a provision for a God-less society, nor is there any provision that religion cannot play a role in government. The First Amendment with regards to religion: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

Just like Bush and Republascum we have in office today, when you don’t have a valid argument against a person you just make shit up. You and this site are pathetic you have no proof of any of this bullshit, you’re a joke and over time will loose what little respect that people have for you because all you do is lie.

Sure pal, keep telling yourself that. Whatever eases you concience and makes the nightmares stop.

Posted by: KHarn at September 29, 2008 5:15 PM

So who won the debate, according to ABC? Why, Barak Hussein Obama, of course. Despite McCain spanking BHO hard on foreign policy know-how (which was the topic of the debate, after all), ABC declares that Obama won because the exposure allowed America to get more comfortable with him.

If Omaba held up a Brinks truck, the media would say that it was OK because he was going to give the money to the poor (even if he never followed through). If he gave his mistress AIDS (and you know he's got a mistress), it would be a good thing because he raised awareness of the dangers of the disease. He could probably strangle a man with his bare hands at a campaign stop in full view of the crowd, and the media wouldn't bat an eye. Just what has to happen to get a bad report about him in the media? Is there anything?

Posted by: CoderInCrisis at September 29, 2008 6:27 PM

My point exactly
Kharn
“Sure pal, keep telling yourself that. Whatever eases you conscience and makes the nightmares stop.”

Your response is not a cohesive augment that goes against my point but it is proof too my original verbiage that you just make shat up.

In re: Rodney King - people in LA didn't riot because a felon rightfully got his ass kicked; they rioted because the subsequent verdict was a convenient excuse to riot. Same thing with an NBA championship win (or loss), or after a hurricane, or whatever else causes morons to break a window and grab a free TV.
Riots may or may not break out in this country after an Obama loss; I'm inclined to think that at least a few cities would have problems. Between that and the economic troubles, I'm keeping plenty of "7.62mm looter repellant" on hand.

Posted by: PabloD at September 29, 2008 9:18 PM

If McCain wins, a few riots.

If Obmama wins, more riots.

CATHOLIC RELATIVISM AND THE NEW CATHOLIC CHURCH

As a survivor of Catholic upbringing, former altar boy, choir boy, and after eight years of Catholic elementary school, four years of Catholic high school, four years of Catholic college, and umpteen years of Catholic post-graduate studies, I think I’m entitled to comment on the state of Catholicism today.

When I say I’m a survivor, I don’t mean to imply that I survived anything but normal life in Catholic schools. I survived in the sense that I never succumbed to what I can call excessive Catholicity, an embrace of policies antithetical to the best interests of America.

Normal Catholic schooling meant an excellent education in a sometimes excessively strict environment which included sporadic and sometimes severe corporal punishment administered by overwrought and, admittedly occasionally sadistic nuns, religious brothers and priests, but we survived even if scathed.

I also have to admit that most of the smacks were deserved.

Readers now looking forward to an expose’ by a renegade Papist will be disappointed. I still believe, as I was taught, that the Catholic Church is the one, true, apostolic church founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, upon the Rock of Saint Peter and descending in an unbroken line from him to the present.

I’m well aware dissenters can and will attempt to poke holes in those teachings by referring to ancient history and by offering such heresies that Jesus was not the Son of God, that the church’s lineage can not be traced in an unbroken line, etc., and I’m not about to engage in a detailed defense since I am not a theologian. I will let those scholars deal with such disagreements.

I will say that I was taught never to enter a non-Catholic place of worship, not because all Protestants, Jews, Muslims, et al. are going to Hell...

"I am a Republican and I would've gladly voted for Hillary Clinton over John McCain simply because she is more conservative."

Kinton is not conservative. That's laughable. She's a Communist, just like her husband.

Conservatives are stuck between a rock in a hard place in the 2008 election, there's no question about it. Bashing either McCain heavily or Obama heavily makes no real sense, because one is as bad as the other.
