Oh that is so perfect a depiction of the arrogance of government!

Hahaha! Wonderful to see so much bullshit hacked through in such short order. Our own government would be back on track in one month if it could find the wisdom to deal with nonsense in that manner.

What if Hitler's ideologists could come back from the dead to meet with the IPCC and flesh out a new climate-change based theory to justify genocide of Europeans? You'd get something like this

PLEASE let's not forget how Sen Plugs responded to the Dem debate question about guns! This article:
http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/09-02-2008/0004877182&EDATE=
reminds us that over 75% of Americans believe it is our right to own guns for self-defense. The so-called "assault weapons ban" was wildly unpopular (mainly because it outlawed guns based on how scary the LOOKED, not having anything at all to do with how they WORKED). Supporting it was political suicide, so it quietly went away after it expired.
This video

shows Plugs admitting that he hates gun owners and that he WROTE the BAN!

from a Drugde link: in a global survey, less than half believe 9/11 was caused by Al Quaeda. Roughly a quarter of the world's population believes either the US or Israel perpetrated 9/11

mega,
Are these the same people that "overwhelmingly" support Obama? Right, another reason to not give a flying f##k what the rest of the world thinks about our affairs.

Middle-aged leftist man who looks like an old lesbian Roger Ebert lets Sarah Palin melt his brain. Seems he disapproves for her for not spending enough of her life in Europe.
But the left isn't elitist, or anything. How could anyone infer that he's an elitist just because he thinks unless one spends several years among our European betters, one is simply an unwashed backwoods peasant with corncob pipe, missing teeth, and a jug of moonshine.

A couple in the UK made an urgent 999 call about a burglary in progress (UK equivalent of US 911). Police responded to the call via text message to the callers asking if they'd figured out what had been stolen.
At this time we’re struggling to get the police to attend general area due to other calls for service. Many thanks.

More Freudian slips from Obama camp: Biden admits Hillary a better pick
ABC News' Matthew Jaffe reports: Sen. Barack Obama's, D-Ill., vice presidential nominee, Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., Wednesday said that Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., might have been a better pick for the position than him.
At a rally in Nashua, N.H., a man in the audience told Biden how glad he was that Obama picked him over Hillary, "not because she's a woman, but because, look at the things she did in the past."
"Make no mistake about this," Biden responded. "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend, she is qualified to be president of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America, and quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate, I mean that sincerely, she’s first rate, so let’s get that straight."
Spokesman Ben Porritt offered this response from the McCain camp: "Barack Obama’s most important decision of this election, and Biden -- the candidate he selects -- suggests, himself, that he wasn’t the right man for the job, and that Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice. Biden certainly has a credible viewpoint on this."

Obama's Contributor List Reads Like The Saudi Phone Book
The following is a list of Middle Eastern-seeming names found on the Federal Election Commission's website who have contributed to Senator Barack Obama. This list addresses only the "A's" and only about 12 pages of the 25 pages of "A's" are shown. I do not know if there are additional names that can be added to the list below from the remainder of the alphabet.
For Senator McCain: In the A, F, H, I, M, O, U and Z FEC categories, I found no Middle-Eastern-seeming names.

Burning Hot:
Biden responded, "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend, she is qualified to be president of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America, and quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me.
I heard this on the radio. The tone in his voice was that of a defeated man. I don't know the rules, but can Biden withdraw (or be thrown under the bus) and Obama choose another, i.e., Hillary? How does the adjourned DNC convention nominate someone else?
Before McCain chose Palin, the Obamassiah was walking on water and healing the sick. There was no way he could lose, and he wasn't about to share his glory with the wicked witch of NY.
Now that the Obamassiah is sinking faster than the doubting Apostle Peter with concrete boots, he may undergo a change of heart and find sharing the WhiteHouse (is that racist) with the Hillbillarys not as bad as going back to the Senate, the total loser Jr. senator he truly is.
Of course, if you think Sarah drives a tough bargain (LANGUAGE WARNING), wait till Hillary lists her demands before she pitches him a life-preserver.

Lyle, if the empty suit weren't so afraid of Hillary's dominance as VP (and he has good reason to be), he'd have a historic grievance-winning ticket today.

Woman sues Al-Jazeera for discrimination against women, Christians (well, DUH)
A British woman who worked as a television executive at Al-Jazeera has taken the Arab news channel to court, alleging religious and sex discrimination on the job.
Josephine Burgin, 49, is appearing before an employment tribunal in London this week. She claimed in testimony on Tuesday that she suffered discrimination as a woman and a Christian at the broadcaster’s English-language service, where she worked for two years as head of planning.

Real GOP feminists boycott Opr-blah
The Florida Federation of Republican Women has launched a boycott against Oprah Winfrey’s TV show and magazine because the talk queen has said she will not have Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on her show until after the election.
Democrat Barack Obama — whom Winfrey is supporting for president — was on “Oprah” twice before he announced his run for president, in January 2005 and in October 2006. Winfrey has said she will have neither party’s candidates on her show while they are running for their respective offices.
But the 58-year-old federation, which has 4,500 members, says Winfrey should have Palin on her show now, given how important the Alaska governor’s run is for women.
“She is an icon, and set her herself up to be such a women’s rights and women’s issues person. To have the first vice president of our lifetime on the Republican ticket being a woman and to sit it out regardless of what her personal political beliefs were was disingenuous, we felt,” the group’s First Vice President Cindy Graves told “FOX & Friends” on Wednesday morning.
Asked whether the boycott is affecting Oprah’s TV ratings and magazine subscriptions, Graves said Winfrey is “keeping that quiet.”
According to the Drudge Report, Winfrey’s staff is sharply divided on booking Palin.
“Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on,” an unidentified source told Drudge. “Oprah’s Web site is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama.”

Obamessiah furiously spins and crashes - now says McCain is the pig, Palin is the lipstick
“Just calling [ideas] change, calling them different doesn’t make it better, hence lipstick on a pig,” Obama said.
He then clarified his statements even more.
“Keep in mind, technically, had I meant it this way, [Palin] would be the lipstick. The failed policies of John McCain would be the pig, just following the logic of this illogical situation,” Obama said.

Obama plagiarized editorial cartoon in his pig-lipstick speech
Obama stated yesterday:
"'Watch out, George Bush, except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove-style politics – we're really going to shake things up in Washington!' That's not change ... you know, you can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig."
The political cartoon, also mocking McCain's and Palin's concept of change, stated four days earlier:
"Watch out, Mr. Bush! With the exception of economic policy and energy policy and social issues and tax policy and foreign policy and Supreme Court appointments and Rove-style politics, we're coming in there to shake things up!"
