Here's a thought I had a moment ago...

It's Sunday in the Great State of Louisiana, one of the 'buckles' of the Bible Belt. Half of the broadcast channels have jive-ass preachers on, spouting their views (I'm a firm believer in God, but not in preachers).

Have you noticed that there's no corrolary among Muslims? Why isn't there a program showing an Imam preaching from the pulpit? Anyone in the nation ever seen one? I'd love to see it, if it exists.

Could it be that they don't want their views put out there for all to see? What's actually being preached in mosques around the U.S.? Anyone else notice this noticable lack of openness on the part of so-called 'peaceful, patriotic' Muslims?

I remember in 2004, when I lived in Lexington KY, a large banner outside the local mosque, declaring, "THE TRUE ISLAM IS MISQUOTED". Okay, well how about un-misquoting it? Tell us what is really has to say. Get it on video, get the Imams of America on record saying what muslim REALLY believe, or should believe. If evangelicism is such an effective tool for expanding the membership of a church, why don't muslms do it?

They’ve floated rumors about her “affairs” and her husband’s “affairs,” suggested that baby Trig wasn’t her baby, dug up a twenty year old DUI on her husband, and they’re probably planning to say that she worked her way through college by hooking in Juneau since nothing else has succeeded in smearing Governor Sarah Palin.

In the interim before publishing the hooker lie, they’re focusing on her pastor and trying to get her to repudiate him just as Obama repudiated Reverend Wright.

Aside from the alliterative appeal of that title, the reason for this “problem,” according to Koppelman, is that her pastor, Larry Kroon, invited Jews for Jesus founder, David Brickner, to speak at his church in August. In fact, that was his second such sermon at Kroon’s church.

OBAMA’S MUSLIM FAITH OUTED–AGAIN!

One slip doth not a Muslim make. Two slips doth not a Muslim make. But two slips added to all the other evidence, if they do not make Barack Hussein Obama an adherent to Islam sure must raise a ton of suspicions, or should.

Senator Gaffe, aka Senator Obama, aka Senator Foot-in-Mouth made another (Freudian?) slip yesterday in an interview with George Stephanopoulis on ABC’s “This Week:” http://washingtontimes.com/news/2008/sep/07/obama-verbal-slip-fuels-his-critics/.

In reporting the story, “Obama’s Verbal Slip Fuels His Critics,” the Times, far too graciously, I thought, said that, “when the Democratic presidential nominee was outlining his Christianity [he] accidentally said, “my Muslim faith,” and then “immediately corrected” the three words.

The Times reporter, Christina Bellantoni, seemed to be cutting Obama a good deal of slack since she reported that when Obama said to Stephanopoulis, ”What I was suggesting — you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come. [sic]”

Mr. Stephanopoulos interrupted with, “Christian faith.”

“My Christian faith,” Mr. Obama said quickly.

So, if the slip were indeed “accidental,” it was not even caught by Obama but by George and only then did Obama quickly correct what he had said.

Now, America is the land of the free and the home of the brave and we respect any man’s right to worship as he pleases. What we should not respect is any man who assumes to the highest office in our land and conceals the truth of his faith.

Obama’s middle name is Muslim. His father was Muslim. His step-father was Muslim. He was educated, for a time, in Muslim Indonesia. His roommate at Columbia was a Pakistani Muslim and he admits to visiting Muslim Pakistan after graduation. His pastor for twenty years admired and bestowed honors on Black Muslim Louis Farrakhan.

I’m certain I’ve left out some of his other coincidentally Muslim connections...
