Olbie, Tweety Demoted

Could it be that even MSNBC is developing journalistic standards? Or is it that their execs have noticed a shift in the political winds? Most likely it's that they finished dead last of all news coverage of the conventions over the last two weeks. Whatever the reason, slobbering Obamunist partisans Keith Olbermann and Chris "Tweety" Matthews have been yanked from behind their political anchor desks.

This is good for a laugh:

The network announced Monday that Olbermann and Chris Matthews have both been booted as co-hosts on political night coverage in favor of David Gregory, whose White House press corps experience may make him better suited to deliver sober and less opinion-driven assessments of the news.

Apparently Helen Thomas wasn't available.

Even this rather obnoxious lib is more impartial than Olbie and Tweety.

Seems MSNBC was told to get rd of the format/eedjuts by parent NBC, not something done in-house.

"Could it be that even MSNBC is developing journalistic standards?" Journalistic standards? ROTFL - oh, that's a good one, Van!

Now we've got MTV using a moron from Formerly Great Britain hosting their (alleged) awards show, who comes on and immediately begs Americans to put Obambi in the White House (as if your opinion mattered, dickhead), calling the sitting President of the United States all kinds of names, none of them laudatory, shall we say, bashing Sarah Palin and her family (rumor, innuendo and fabrication only, of course; no such things as "facts" need apply) and all-around blaming America first (the favorite sport of the Idiot Left [pardon the redundancy]).

The stench of their fear is palpable; Gov. Palin has utterly wrecked the plans of the Doh!bama campaign (such as it is: "Vote the Messiah! He stands for . . ., uhhhh . . ."). August 29, 2008 may go down as one of the great dates in history, at least a bit like January 20, 1981, when President Ronald Wilson Reagan was sworn in for his first term.

I guess Olbermans career is like a fastball-- "swung on and hammered deep to centerfield, it's going, going, going....GONE! Its refreshing to see that the media nazis in msnbc land won't be subjecting the 12 or thirteen people who actually watch msnbc to his pompously idiotic rantings!

MSNBC is destined for failure because they are focussed on their competition (Fox news) instead of their customers.

MSNBC doesn't get it on so many levels it's scary. I mean, you can take THE most conservative stuff on Fox (they obsess with Fox almost as much as with Bush). Show me where anyone on Fox gets as outlandish and personal (as in "personal attacks) as Olbermann. They don't. Hannity will hammer something like Ayers or Rev. Wright, but those are legit issues. Olberman in particular would go for the scathing, personal smears as a matter of course.

Good riddance to both of those tools.

Um, just for the record, why do you call Chris Matthews 'Tweety'? I'm not too familiar with the guy, so I wouldn't know.

Does not David Gregory seem like the prototypical Barking Moonbat, like he is barking at the moon? My Moonbat senses tell me that Gregory is just as biased as the two Wit Brothers: Dim (Olbermann) and Nit (Mathews)

Adam, like Tweety, Matthews has a huge yellow head. Also, he's a bird brain.
