This clip is so short, it's clearly taken out of context. What did the Messiah say before and after the quote in question? Isn't this much like the lib's taking Saraccudah's "on a mission from God" statement so out of context it's laughable?

Show the whole interview, don't just snip it in ways that make Obama look bad. He can look bad all by himself. We don't need to stoop to this kind of 'cut and paste' journalism to make Obama look like the jackass Maoist he is.

Obama clearly (between the um's and uh's etc) "McCain questioned my Muslim faith". The interviewer had to correct Obama and inject "Christian faith", then adds, "you mean John McCain saying you are a Muslim"

Thank Allah the interviewer helped Obama through THAT embarring faux paux.

This is the same sort of nonsense people have been doing to Bush. He clearly just got jumbled up and tried to say that McCain had not accused him of being Muslim.

Though, like others have said, he is a very poor speaker. It's not a lack of talent in this area either. When you read his writings, he just doesn't have the ability to clearly organize his thoughts.

He also seems to lack the ability to clearly organize a community. If this is his big leadership expertise why doesn't someone ask him where the results of his tenure are that he can point to and say -"I did that" other than just create more worthless community organizers. Where is the good that came out of this "good work" that he did?

What he said was, when he finally got his tongue started was "you are right, John McCain has not talked about 'my Muslim faith'", clearly meaning that McCain (as the interviewer must have said earlier) has not accused him of being a Muslim.

I dont think Obama really believes in any other god than himself (like others here have said). However if it came down to picking sides in a conflict between Christians and Muslims he would likely side with Muslims just to spit in the eye of Christians.

I agree with anonymous. He has no other God but himself. The "Freudian slip" is revealing on two accounts though. First it does reflect a very clear islamic consciousness (Dreams of his father?????) and second, far from being the greatest speaker ever, he does commit terribly stupid gaffes.

His comments on the "bitter working class" is one example and this muslim faith is another one. The 527's are likely to jump on both of those comments. Either one is enough to erode his support to cost him a close election. The guy's a pretty dumb speaker one on one.

I saw the longer interview too. He is a terrible speaker without a teleprompter. My high school freshmen have been trained to speak better than he. This just adds fodder to those of us who laugh at his comment of having visited 57 states so far. What an poor choice for office.

Why not post the truth? I don't think it was even a slip. He was talking specifically about allegations that he's Muslim. By saying that they never spoke about 'his muslim faith'. I might have put it the same way.

No one can judge who is a true Christian except God. Get off your judgmental, holier than thou, butts and look at the truth. What facts, what evidence do you have that Obama is any more or any less Christian than any one else or any other politician? Lie for lie McCain and Palin and Bush have told MANY, MANY more lies than Obama. (I actually have not yet found a lie in O'Bama's speeches.)

Obama gave up an opportunity for a six figure salary when he graduated from college (unlike MaCain, near the bottom of his class) to work for the poor. Jesus would much prefer that over McCain dumping one wife for a rich, well-connected woman. But none of that matters--only their ideas. So stick to the facts. Obama is not muslim. What are you afraid of, anyway? Learning about the Muslim faith may help us understand the greatest enemy this country has ever faced?
