Obama's ACORN Friends Indulge in Election Fraud Once Again
The Michigan branch of Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), located in Detroit, is being investigated after several municipal clerks reported fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications coming through.
The majority of the fraudulent and duplicate applications are coming from the ACORN group based in Detroit, Michigan, which now has ACORN investigating the problem once again as well as the Secretary of State's Office turning over some of those applications to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
According to the report by Freep.com, the spokeswoman for the Michigan Secretary of State's Office, Kelly Chesney, says there is a "sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent applications. And it appears to be widespread."
ACORN is for all intents and purposes an arm of the Obama campaign.
The Pittsburgh Tribune also reported the Barack Obama campaign recently amended their Federal Election Commission report to reflect $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal ACORN group, called Citizens Services Inc., which is a subsidiary of the ACORN group.
The "get out the vote" drives conducted by ACORN typically involve many duplicate and fictitious voters, as well as votes cast by dead people.
Given that Obama's connection with ACORN goes back at least to 1992, and that he even trained ACORN activists in their nefarious tactics as part of his "community organizer" activities, it may not be enough for McCain to win — he will have to win by such a large margin that the Dems can't overturn the results by cheating, like they probably did in 1960. It turns out Obama really might have something in common with JFK.
On a tip from Matthew D.

Guess some people are proud of being nuts.

A ACORN IS A NUT AND SO ACORN IS AGRUOP OF NUTS NEED I SAY MORE? I MEAN THEY ARE A BUNCH OF HOOLIGANS WHO INVADED CONGRESSIONAL HQ WAVING FOOD TRAYS THEIR NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF RADICALS THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

which now has ACORN investigating the problem once again
Great. I'm sure ACORN will get to the bottom of why the keep trying to commit election fraud right away.
"What can I say? Obama can raise people from the dead, and get 'em to the polls."

Entirely predictable. The moonbat nonsense that infects Michigan ALWAYS seeps from the toilet known as Detroit. Good news is, Michigan is a toss-up state at the moment. Hopefully ACORN's fraud will be sufficiently dealt with before election day and the bogus registrations removed from the rolls.

If McCain loses a close election, the hanging chad controversy in Florida will look like nothing. ACORN's activities will finally get some scrutiny in the big cities of swing states - particularly Detroit and Philadelphia. I'm already annoyed about having my vote cancelled by a dead person in Philly and it hasn't even happened yet - well, not this year anyway.
Hopefully the vote is overwhelming enough in other parts of these states to offset the cheating. Or better yet, like RLV says, root out the cheating and fraudulent registrations now.

You're worried about a bunch of nuts in Detroit and Philadelphia? Imagine the millions of fraudulent votes coming out of Chicago for the Messiah!!!!
Posted by: Anonymous at September 16, 2008 1:46 PM
That's true anon, but this year those votes won't matter because the Redeemer of All Humanity will win his home state without them. Philly and Detroit can decide the whole thing. Kinda like Chicago did for JFK back in 1960.
Posted by: forest at September 16, 2008 2:09 PM
Oh God help us if Obama wins. One only hopes that McCain will scrutinize every vote like Gore tried to do in 2000.
If all these nuts are so damn confident that Obama will win, why cheat?

If all these nuts are so damn confident that Obama will win, why cheat?
A former governor once said: Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat. That governor? Jesse Ventura, (Reform - Min). This statement suits the left to a T. That have to lie, smear, and cheat, because that's what they do, even when there is nothing to be gained.

"If McCain loses a close election, the hanging chad controversy in Florida will look like nothing."
That was just one part of it, FORREST. A high-up Donkey in Florida hired an investigator in 2001, hoping to uncover all the "dirty tricks the Republicans did". The investigator and his staff not only discovered no wrong-doing on the Repubs' part, but that the DEMOCRATS had done all the tricks ACORN is doing and more!

To anyone who hasn't registered voters, you may not know what the story involves. The facts are:
1. Once voter registeration personnel (e.g. ACORN) hand someone a form and they fill it out and sign it, the voter register is legally obligated to hand it in to the clerk. The person 'registering' could write "George W. Bushhole" and ACORN would be obliged to hand the form in to the clerk within 15 days or face fines and possible jail time if they didn't.
2. These 'false applicants' never make it to any registered voter list. As the story notes, all registrations are checked against the database by county clerks. Voter registeration personnel are instructed to inform persons registering to simply fill out the form and if there is any confusion to sort things out with the county clerk.
3. Political machines are notorious for shannanigans. It would not surprise me one bit to learn that the people who were creating the false 'applications' were persons who wanted to discredit ACORN. It's too simple, just put 5 or 10 people on the street when ACORN is doing a drive, fill out the phony details repeatedly, and watch the ensuing media frenzy. Anyone involved in registering people would know that it doesn't make sense to even try registering people falsely given the fact that it will be caught.
Funny thing is, none of the reports listed here mention how ACORN could really be the ones that are being dealt with by the true nuts.
On a personal note, I think anyone that's hitting the streets doing a voter registration drive should be commended. I doubt any of the snarky and misinformed ACORN comments come from persons who know much about the political process - and I doubt even more those posters actually volunteer to try make our democratic process better.

Thanks D - I guess I don't have to worry about voter fraud any more. But if it does occur, it definitely won't be ACORN's fault. It'll be the work of double-secret operatives of an enemy political machine that's just trying to discredit ACORN and make it look corrupt and partisan.
Posted by: forest at September 16, 2008 8:36 PM
Yeah, I'm so glad how D Mytty explained to us all how "Landslide Lyndon" Johnson earned his clearly undeserved nickname through the efforts of operatives for that well-known political machine, the GOP.
Especially when Our Lord and Saviour, the Holy Anointed One, has funnelled tons of cash to ACORN. He wouldn't ever do anything to cheat, now would he? I mean, he's a Chicago politician, world-renowned for their honesty and ethics.... There's no doubt in my mind that he worked tirelessly when he was a "community organizer" to see to it that every voter's vote was counted in Cook County, Illinois...
Whether they were alive or not.

McSame said he invented the blackberry lolololol. This once again proves there are only two types of repukes: millionaires and suckers.

Oh, Aaron, do you mean like the multi-millionaire Al "I got a 'D' in Earth Sciences at Yale, but I'm still gonna lecture you about science" Gore?
Oh, he didn't invent the Blackberry (as the twisted lefty pundits say of McCain)... he only INVENTED THE INTERNET!!!!
Want the video of him proving it from his own mouth?
You've only proved that there's only two types of leftists: those who take advantage of the foolish blind faith of mindless "usefull idiots".... and "useful idiots". When you start utilising your mind (after you move out of Mom's basement, get a job, and start wondering who this bitch FICA is and why you're paying her child support), please post again.

"On a personal note, I think anyone that's hitting the streets doing a voter registration drive should be commended." -D
If you don't know there is an election coming up, and/or you don't know how to register...then maybe you are too stupid to vote in the first place.
Posted by: baldeagle390 at September 17, 2008 5:07 AM
Actuall Al Gore never claimed to INVENT the Internet - though the real quote is fairly close - he did infer he was responsible for its existence - as if it never wouldnt without him.
Gore: "During my service in the United States Congress I took the initiative in creating the Internet."

The only good thing about about Obama courting young voters (for example, Aaron) is that they tend to not actually make it to the polls to vote. Either they forget the actual date, or they're too "foggy" to get up off their ass and wait in line for a while.

This is one of the most hate-filled websites on the internet. Great job making me ashamed to call myself a conservative.
Posted by: Anonymous at September 17, 2008 5:27 AM
Oh come on Anon. Just head on over to dailykos.com if you want to see some true hate. Mocking Down Syndrome babies, tributes to "happy twin towers day," ageism, racism, and on and on. But then, you probably knew all that didn't you...
Posted by: cowlove at September 17, 2008 5:43 AM
Its fitting they are wearing so much RED and flying RED flags. The only thing missing is a yellow hammer and sickle.
One could call them Obama's Red Shirts (like Hitlers Brown Shirts) - at least we know what usually happens to people wearing red shirts from Star Trek.

If anon is so confused and deluded as to see this site as "hate filled" at all, nevermind one of the most on the net, I would be ashamed to call him conservative also.
