Gore Rallies Thugs to Attack Civilization

Apparently the Obamessiah and Shrillary aren't the only ones to have been heavily influenced by the socialist radical Saul Alinsky. Al Gore, possibly driven to desperation by cooling temperatures, is calling for Alinskyesque tactics to be used against those who inflict electric power on our homes.

Nobel Peace Prize winner and environmental crusader Al Gore urged young people on Wednesday to engage in civil disobedience to stop the construction of coal plants without the ability to store carbon.
The former U.S. vice president, whose climate change documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" won an Academy Award, told a philanthropic meeting in New York City that "the world has lost ground to the climate crisis."
"If you're a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration," Gore told the Clinton Global Initiative gathering to loud applause.

In case rallying angry mobs of black-clad moonbats with bandanas on their faces to vandalize power plants doesn't work, Gore also invited state attorney generals to sue the plants out of existence.

As Thomas Lifson notes with appropriate horror, this unhinged thug was almost elected President of the United States.

As for storing the carbon, this has not been proven to be either necessary or effective, and would increase upfront costs by at least 50%.

Gore encourages left-wing shock troops to destroy new power plants.

Pretty soon they'll be taking direct instruction from HAMAS et al and throwing acid in police officer's faces, suicide bombing the coal plants etc...

Does anyone remember the Earth Liberation Front? Didn't we go after them and at least try to arrest and prosecute those jerks? If so, why do we allow this current wave of Eco-Freaks to walk around without manacles? The times- they are a-changin'!

And another thing... Gore- who was a member of the U.S. Gov't- now encouraging and justifying the destruction of both private and taxpayer-funded property... isn't that a form of treason? Can he be banished to the wastelands for this action? Or do you think that New Jersey doesn't want him there, either?

If he were to list specific coal plants to target, he could be arrested for incitement to violence. Unfortunately, he's oo smart to do that.
I never thought even that pompous windbag would be so brazen as to encourage ecoterrorism.
After hearing this, it wouldn't surprise me if the Goracle was secretly supplying funding to ecoterrorist groups like the ELF and Earth First, similar to how Ted Turner has directly funded Earth First (Earning him the nickname "Daddy Greenbucks" from them, and granting him immunity from Earth First possibly protesting a timber- cutting operation on his ranch while they protested a similar operation on a nearby ranch).

This story isn’t surprising. Civil disobedience is a low substitute for critical thought.
Fat Al has not once debated any qualified scientist maintaining a contrary view on global warming. I think he is obligated to do this since amongst other things, he was given (not earned) a Nobel Prize.
In science, discussion is usually a principle means for clarification; street tactics are more consistent with Gore's strategies.

Al Gore should be ashamed of himself for urging such crinimal actions his awards should be taken away and send him to the woodshed for a good aplication in his rear AL GORE SUPORTS EARTH FIRST and the EARTH LIBERATION FRONT OFF WITH HIS HEAD

There once was a man from Tennessee
Whose ramblings of Global Warming was Moonbatty
When he opened his mouth
Unproven drivel came out
And the Left has proven they're commies

Ooo

Peace Peace Winner eh?

Kind of like the way suicide-bombing jihadis belong to the religion of peace?

Or peace protestors bring weapons to use on the police?

Posted by: Spurwing Plover at September 26, 2008 3:25 PM

Spurwing, you say that like we'd never heard the term "watermelon" before. Your spelling is atrocious, your grammar worse, and most here find your posts vague at best (unintelligible at worst). Honestly, you're kind of a doofus.

That said, we're anti-lib, which means pro-free speech. While I might not always agree with (or understand) your posts, I can see that you're prolly not a lib shill... and unlike DU or Kos, you can express yourself here and not get banned (unless you're a complete ass-hat, which you don't appear to be so far... just a goob)

Do me a favor tho... work on the punctuation, will ya? Anyway, as much as you may irritate me.......
