The Obamessiah's First Miracle
Barack Obama has performed his first miracle, stopping Russian tanks from crushing Georgia with the power of mere words. The miracle was heralded by Virginia Governor and Obama toady Tim Kaine:
To back up his demands, Obama threatened to bring in the United Nations, cleverly surmising that Russia wouldn't realize it has veto power over anything the UN does, and that Security Council resolutions are meaningless anyway unless backed up by the US military, as Saddam Hussein so thoroughly proved.

Timmy Kaine is working for that VP slot. As the "Peacekeepers" are on the move again, lets see what Obama can do to stop them this time.

Anon, you're "right on" about Little Timmy (he of very little intelligence and zero independent thought) and that precious VP slot (now that Little Johnny has screwed himself out of contention).
He won't get it, but I'll bet dollars to donuts that Obambi would love to put Clueless Clooney on the ticket, if only for his (alleged) appeal to the fair sex and his utter lock-step existence with Der Fuehrer, the Almighty Messiah, B.H.O. hissef.

It was a good play on Kaine's part. If Russia had actually stopped shooting at that moment, he woulda just teed up the most amazing propaganda moment ever for the Democrat's victory. Except for the part about Russia continuing its slaughter and McCain being the only person in either party to call the situation accurately, the Dems came within a hair's breadth of nailing down Obama's natsec credentials and election.
(Here in Virginia Kaine is a non-entity, the least memorable or interesting governor this state has had in decades.)

Kaine declaring the cease fire a success is just as troubling as trying to give the credit to Obama.
How gullible are these people? Do they know any history? These type of situations almost always have unfulfilled cease fires before finally winding down. But he's out there gloating about the cease fire before anyone had established if it held - which it apparently didn't.
Maybe Obama will pick Kaine because he's the only one available who's an even lighter lightweight than himself.
