Spike Lee Announces the Coming of Year One
He's no longer the flavor of the month among the moonbat intelligentsia, but Spike Lee can still be counted on to push liberal asininity to the most ludicrous extremes imaginable. Here he is on the deity of the Marxist punk who would be President:
Spike didn't mention whether we should reset our calendars this year, or after the Obamessiah takes office.
Hat tip: NewsBusters; on a tip from Cheetah.

I still remember SPIKE Lee tried to keep Spike TV from using the name Spike. He is just another assclown.

You would think those folks would learn that behaving as if something is inevitable and "destiny" tends to end up more resembling "irony". Hillary Clinton was inevitable, and she lost the primary. Obama is the inevitable president . . . hmmm.
Folks on the left have generally felt that Gore, Kerry, even Dukakis were going to take it in a landslide until those folks lose, and they re-write their predictions retro-actively. Barack is about as much of a lock as McGovern . . . it's possible, but he's hardly inevitable.

When our economy is a smoking-ruin shell of its former self in the years AB, we'll sit on our recycled furniture (picked up curb-side) under compact fluorescent lights drinking organic beer, looking back wistfully at the days BB and wondering how anyone back then thought that we had it bad.
So Spike may be right, but not for the reason he thinks.

So Obama is even greater than Jesus Christ now so BC and AC should be changed to BO and AB? I am praying that us real Americans out there aren't buying all this nonsense and will turn out in November to vote McCain. The media can tell me all day long that most of the country loves BHO but I just don't believe it.

Hey Spike, there are more women in the U.S. than blacks. I'd like you to meet Gov. Sarah Palin.
Now, will all the women who think Hillary got screwed please form a line over to the right...

If Obama wins Im sure they will call it the New DARK Ages - for a couple of reasons. One of which is we will all be sitting in the dark freezing to death. The other? Well, you can probably figure that one out. Tee hee hee.

I know hardly anything about the governor and I'm kind of excited about her nomination! This is the turning point, folks, next year will be 2009 PL; "Post Liberalism".

"Year Zero" would be better description,if UhBama takes power. That is what the insane Khmer Rouge called the date they seized power in Cambodia. And what a fun-filled joy-ride it was with 3 million dead. No doubt our version of Pol Pot will improve on those numbers.

I divide it all this way:
WB
WOB
With Bullshit
Without Bullshit
Spike Lee = WB

I could give a rat's ass if a woman is in the White House. But it sure is delicious to know that if there is one on the ticket, she is an authentic women, a sister of Christ first, after that, a wife, a mother, dedicated servant of the public, capable and intelligent, a hunter, a sportsman, and a darn goodlooking lady to boot. Kind of reminds me of .......me. :)
Now where is my dust rag? Oh, yeah. In my apron pocket. The apron with my rifle marksmanship badge sewn onto the bib. Got to finish my dusting and ironing before it's time to take the bread out of the oven. It'll go good with the fresh Lake Ontario king salmon I caught last weekend. Can't wait to tell the husband that his kind of woman (and mine) will be going to the White House.
Any questions?

The moonbats actually have the nerve to accuse Palin of having little experience!
Pot, meet kettle.
Posted by: Anonymous at August 29, 2008 1:58 PM
Just did some reading about Sarah Palin... the lady is AWESOME. Far fewer quibbles than I've had with others whom I've supported wholeheartedly. Heck, if the the ticket were reversed I think I'd be even more enthusiastic.

KHarn, I'm excited too. McCain made a very savvy choice. She has good credentials, will do a good job if something happens to McCain and (best of all) she TOTALLY TANKED about 95% of Obama's momentum. I can't WAIT to hear them try and tear Ms. Palin apart. If they haven't alienated the Hillary supporters yet, that will be the nail in the coffin.
As for Jane...if your husband ever leaves you, let me know. Anyone that can shoot that well is my kind of woman!

I just hope that when Spike does it that he'll remember to start with "Year 0" rather than "Year 1," which was a very confusing error in our Gregorian calendar system. I mean, every hundred years we go through this BS, where the year XY00 is incorrectly referred to as the START of a new century instead of the END of the last one. It's so confusing to our inner city youth. We need to address it now before it gets out of hand again.
The concept of "zero" as a number is rather difficult for some people to grasp. But after Obama, "zero" will finally mean something....

"Any questions?"
Yes. You DO realize that "I COULD care less" and "I COULDN'T care less" have diffrent meanings, don't you?
I'm sorry, but it's anoying.
Posted by: KHarn at August 29, 2008 5:25 PM
i agree, kharn.
also the use of the phrase i could give a rat's ass should be i wouldn't give a rat's ass as in the thing you are discussing has less value than the ass of a rat.
Posted by: Anonymous at August 29, 2008 5:32 PM
All this semantic stuff...I could care less.
Posted by: matt at August 29, 2008 8:18 PM
Spike Lee is a Racist! And if he does not vote for McCain/Palin 08, he is also Sexist!
Posted by: Oiao at August 29, 2008 10:48 PM
The "i could care less" thing reads like sarcasm to this brit. Almost as if it's saying "Well I could care less, but that would require putting effort into actively not caring about you and you just aren't worth it."

Marxist punk, indeed.
So true.
Hope you don't mind my using it, Van.

While its true Palin doesnt have alot of experience - what she has done in the 18 months she has been governor is amazing. She stopped the bridge to nowhere, is very tough (nickname is Barracuda) and took on the old boys network - even within the Republican Party. Plus alot of other things. In the event something happened to McCain she could simply choose her own VP with foreign policy experience. In the mean time, she seems to be a very quick learner. I can imagine this woman towering over pipsqueaks like Putin and the President of Iran chewing them out like she was channeling the ghost of Ronald Reagan. Granted, she isnt perfect but she sure will be a breath of fresh air. Before I was going to vote for McCain simply because he wasnt a Marxist like Obama - now I feel like I actually have a reason to want to vote for McCain-Palin. I cant wait to see her debate Biden. That should be hilarious - odds are he will get all tongue tied trying to walk the line between pointing out her weaknesses and making it look like he is bashing her like a sexist bully.
Spike Lee? He is just a has been loser from the past - he never really was all that good even when his movies were popular.

Spike Lee and Ditty, handcuffed with one hatchet.
Put em in a room and let them decide which one is more Progressive.
Make sure you handcuff them right hand to right hand. That way, one of em will not be welcomed by their Muzzie Brothers at a meal in the future.
