School Sued for Being Too Tolerant

You can't win when it comes to political correctness — unless you're a trial lawyer or have one looting on your behalf.

The family of a gay teenager who was fatally shot in class blames the school district for allowing their son to wear makeup and feminine clothing to school — factors the family claims led to the death.
The parents and brother of 15-year-old Larry King of Oxnard [California] filed a personal injury claim against the Hueneme school district seeking unspecified damages for not enforcing the dress code.

Apparently the parents had given up on young Larry:

King was a ward of the court and living at a shelter for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children at the time of the shooting.

But that's no reason not to cash in, now that he's dead.

If the school had prevented him from showing up dressed like Boy George, no doubt it would be getting sued for helping to bring about his death by fostering an attitude of intolerance.

John Edwards should have stuck to his ambulance-chasing shtick instead of trying politics. He could be emptying public coffers into his pockets, instead of hiding from reporters in the restroom. There's never a shortage of bad news, which is good news for trial lawyers and the party they finance.

A blogger of my acquaintance WJHTBG NTTAWWT tells me (via email) there's more to this story. The following are his words, not mine:

Turns out the kid was and had been diagnosed as severely emotionally disturbed from day one.

The reason he was in the group home was because he had claimed that his father was hitting him. While one always has to consider two sides to every story, the fact that this kid had such issues in the first place gives the father's side a bit more credence.

Next, this kid's flamboyant behavior apparently did not start until AFTER he had a) moved to the "group home", b) he had started going to "gay youth group" meetings, and c) had been meeting with, and apparently encouraged by, a lesbian school administrator.

To answer V's question, as the article points out, the school asserted that this child being allowed to wear women's clothes and makeup was a protected civil right, so obviously they thought they WOULD be sued -- and the lesbian school administrator told this child that it was his "right" to do so.

In short, the story here, in my opinion, is how liberal nutjob gays got hold of an emotionally-disturbed child and taught him that wearing women's clothes, acting like a woman, being disruptive, and sexually harassing his classmates constituted "normal" behavior for gay people. Worse, they BOUGHT the things for him and encouraged him to wear them -- and teachers who were afraid of some politicking lesbian administrator couldn't intervene.

Here is a story in the Dallas Morning News (AKA Dallas Boring Snooze) which shows that the leftists are properly preparing our children for a society in which "Nobody is too smart! Nobody is too slow! Everybody is equal."

I thank GOD for home schooling (which is flourishing in Texas).

Please disregard that previous post, since I posted before checking through the latest on moonbattery.

Liberals will not admit that their "in your face" demands had anything to do with this murder, instead they will blame CONSERVATIVES because some A$$hole showed his disaproveal with a bullet.

If I showed my disapproval of every Libtard with a bullet I'd be living in a cardboard box from the ammo bills.....

Remember: We are always wrong, they are always right.
