What I wouldn't give to be a Denver cop with a high-power fire hose.
On a tip from Todd D.

And everyone is wondering why the Denver Police just decided, out of the blue no less, to set up a max security high volume processing center.
Hopefully, there will be some good footage on FOX showing the time proven method of using 'Hats n Bats' to disperse the MoonBats.

C'mon, who you kidding? That's Chris Rock with a cheesy theatrical beard!

Also on the list, "Don't forget capitalist parents supplied credit card."

I certainly haven't seen a lot about "planned riots" for the liberal metropolis of Minneapolis for the Repugnant Convention.
Minneapolis hasn't even announced a moratorium on stock-piling human waste as Denver has.
Says LOADS about the respective constituency, huh?
Braaaaaaaaack (excuse me) Hussein Obama is the biggest joke America (the world) has ever seen.
How pitiful can it get? Democrats are the party of worthless leaches.

I'll give them this, they are better organized than P.U.M.A. And, I love all the colorful euphemisms in the itinerary.
Hell, if you can't really define who you are and what you stand for than big, fun-sounding, words are definitely the way to go.
I've got a teach-in suggestion:
(9:00 am; bring da noise, bring da funk!:
Modern non violent protest retro-style.
Sing for freedom from oppression and
Bring a funky friend, have a funky time!

The Rubs were smart holding the RNC in early September. All of the hippies have to be back at the university by then.

Don't forget the Code Pink concert on Monday at 6:30pm! Who wouldn't want to see grey-haired windbags talking about those wild days at Woodstock slopping around in the mud like the pigs they are.
Also, the event at 9am on Monday is billed as "Healthcare not Welfare"...I assume they meant "Healthcare not Warfare", since these unemployed dregs of society are probably dependent on all forms of government handouts.

Damn, I haven't seen Cornel West in many years. Where has he been hiding out? Must be a professor at Harvard.
Posted by: Redteam at August 20, 2008 10:32 PM
wow, missed it. He's a professor at Princeton. I had the league right, just missed which lib school it was.
Posted by: Redteam at August 20, 2008 10:35 PM
Jay, no, it's actually Craig Charles, formerly of Red Dwarf fame...

That first item you mentioned on their list brings to mind a topic that has been worrying me for quite some time now. See, among the groups who will be demonstrating at the DNC are a rather large group of pro- life youths who wish to hold prayer vigils and worship services to pray that God touches the hearts of the Democrats on the issue of abortion. I'm really scared that between their belief in God, their opposition to abortion, their genuine commitment to non- violence (Anyone who does any real digging on Recreate '68 would know that their group's supposed commitment to non- violence is a total crock, just a smokescreen set up by Glenn Spagnuolo and the other leaders of Recreate '68 to keep them from getting hit with criminal charges when things inevitably do get violent), and the simple fact that they may have gotten permits for areas that Recreate '68 wanted, may make the pro- life youths into prime targets for the rabid, meth- fueled anarchists of Recreate 68 and Unconventional Action to attack.
So, for any of you people here who pray, I'd strongly suggest praying for the safety of the pro- life youths, that God would protect them from any who would seek to harm them.
Oh, and I loved when the event said "Direct Actions against Polluters and Greenwashers."
Anyone with half a brain would know that 'Direct Action' is just an anarchist euphemism for "Vandalism and violence."

If his beard was a little longer, in this photo, Cornel West would look just like one of those cavemen guys in the Geico commercials.
If his teaching days are over (soon, we hope), maybe he can get a job in those commercials. Or maybe ABC(?) could try to remake their failed Caveman TV series, with West pretending to be a college professor.

Once again the demmies have shown their "progressiveness" by trying to go forty years back into the past.
If things do get violent, I suspect the only camras that will roll will be those of the bloggers. The media will put a smiling face on this no matter what happens.

I just hope theres a huge riot and the convention center goes up in flames - burned by leftist crazies. The irony of that situation would be truly delicious.

I always wondered what happened to Link from the Mod Squad!

I disagree with conservativeteen. True, the media is in the bag for the Dems, but they're also THE MEDIA. If there is some irresistable photo op, they're going for it. Now, they may try and spin what is happening, but if it gets ugly enough, that won't be possible.
While I don't want to see people get hurt, the idea of 3.5 days of Clinton, a possible floor fight to actually get her nominated, a bevy of Hollywood stars spouting leftist BS (and driving around in huge, non-green gas guzzling limos), communist-fueled riots in the streets and maybe even at the Nuremberg-style acceptance rally in the football stadium...well, that kind of makes my mouth water.

"I just hope theres a huge riot and the convention center goes up in flames - burned by leftist crazies."
Amen, brother. Followed by mass clubbings and high-power fire hoses.
I've got my party hat & whistle ready!

Hmm, on the off chance anybody has been wondering what the offspring of Karl Marx and Malcolm X would look like, there you go! *shuddering with disgust at the thought*

I agree with conserativeteen. If the media will not discuss Barry's brother in Africa, Bill's BJ for I don't how many days, Barry's convicted felon home buying friend, William Ares (sp), John Edwards love child and the hush money - shall I go on? What makes you think they are going to show what could only be preceived by the public as a complete meltdown of the left on national television. I'll bet they have rolls of stock footage from the last Gensis concert for the outside shots of the venue.
Posted by: NewtownMark at August 21, 2008 2:09 PM
Newt, I know what you're saying but lets not get paranoid. If there is minor nonsense going on, I agree. But if there is big trouble in the streets, and clashes between cops and whack-o's, it's going to get on TV.
The convention itself is their biggest weakness. An ugly floor fight can't be covered up unless you literally black out TV coverage. The fact that it's going to be more than three days of Prime Time Clinton is also not something they can (or will) be able to hide.
Lastly, there IS Fox, the blogs, independent news outlets...so I'm hoping for the best.

MEMO TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS IN DENVER. RE: UPCOMING CONVENTION/RECREATE 68:
1. Obtain a weapon. Any type will do as long as you know how to use it.
2. Prominently post a sign (In English AND Spanish, if you wish) clearly stating "You loot, we shoot".
3. Protect your lives and property as well as those of your neighbors.
Posted by: KHarn at August 21, 2008 6:12 PM
You loot, we shoot. I like it!
Too bad the convention isn't in Texas. Trespassers are considered 'varmints' and once they're on your property, you can pretty much do what you please...
Posted by: matt at August 21, 2008 8:46 PM
"You loot, we shoot" was coined after hurricane Andrew when we had a looting problem. even a couple of cops and a city official was cought! They told a man that they had permission from the owner of a store to remove the stock. He told them that HE WAS the owner!

Two words, folks: Agents Provacateur.
The organizers of Recreate68 are professional agents provacateurs feeding off the energies of legitimate and well-meaning activists like a flock of vampires. The founder of Recreate68 has a history of these activities. He's preying on the young and stupid and I pray nothing bad happens this week.
As Lenin himself said, "The way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves." Recreate68 is well-financed by those who stand to benefit from the coming police-state. Guess who.
The whole POINT is for them to cause trouble and give the police the reason to crack down violently on legitimate protesters. It's a trap, and hopefully the progressive blogosphere was able to get the word out in time to prevent any bloodshed. Recreate68 was "outed" as being AP a few months ago.
For more informatinon on how the APs do it just do a youtube search on "agents provacateur" + montecello + canada. Legitimate antiwar protesters at the Montecello SSP/NAFTA/NAU meeting in May 08 identified the provacateurs as undercover police officers. The big giveaways: Their covered faces, plus the fact that they were wearing the police combat boots. DUH!
