PETA Exploits Grotesque Greyhound Murder

In one of the most gruesome crimes in recent memory, 22-year-old Tim McLean was stabbed to death, apparently at random, aboard a Greyhound bus en route from Edmonton to Winnepeg by Chinese immigrant Vince Weiguang Li, who then presented his severed head to fellow travelers and even ate some of his flesh.

This horrific event inspired the folks at PETA to push their depraved relativism completely over the edge with a new marketing concept:

While it isn't every day that a human is violently attacked and eaten by another human, it's worth noting that it is the norm for many people not to give any thought to the fact that restaurants are serving flesh that comes from innocents who were minding their own business before someone came after them with a knife. How amazingly and conveniently compartmentalized the human mind is…
To stress this very point, PETA will be running an ad in the Portage Daily Graphic comparing the similarities between this gruesome bus butchering and the acts of cruelty and killing performed every day by the meat industry.

The ad:

As CTV.ca reports, the Portage Daily Graphic is based 20 km away from where the murder took place. For obvious reasons, the paper wouldn't run the ad.

If you think there's a difference between a maniac hacking someone up with a knife and eating his flesh and normal human meals, it must be that you haven't grasped the wisdom of PETA President Ingrid Newkirk, who proclaims:

A rat is a pig is a dog is a boy.

Ghoulish PETA lunatics have taken nihilistic liberal ideology to the extreme of literally believing there is no difference between humans and animals. They belong in the same mental ward as Li, who no doubt can look forward to a long life at Canadian taxpayers' expense, despite his request to be killed.

On a tip from V the K.

Huh... sensitive animals... obviously Newkirk has never worked on a chicken farm.

Truly disgusting. PETA is nothing more than a junior varsity terrorist organization.

My take on the death penalty: murderers (First degree, multiple) have already shown that they see nothing wrong with people getting killed, so they shouldn't be alowed to object to their own exicutions. In the case above, they should grant his request for exicution (Didn't we do that for Gary Gilmore?). Consider it the traditional "condemned prisoner's last request".

Off-Topic: Now that Iraq is going well, the NYT turns its attention to undermining the war in Afghanistan. You know, the "good" war, the one lefties supposedly supported.

Mmmmm... greyhound backstrap, sausage, grilled ribs!

Not surprising. Peta has long loved exploiting the suffering of humans (i.e. the Holocaust) to gain support for their twisted ideology.
Now, if you'll excuse me, my family got a couple pizzas for dinner tonight, I think I'm going to grab a slice of bacon pizza.

Off-Topic: How long will it take for O. Hussein Obama (that's right, I can call that boy whatever I damn well please) to surrender in Afghanistan after he snatches defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq.
The MSM will all fall in and start clamoring for us to pull out just like the Russians were forced to. The left won't be happy until we lose both wars so we can go rescue Obama's cousins in Darfur.

Let the Norwegians do it!

Posted by: Shooter1001 at August 7, 2008 6:53 PM

So...uh...when PETA read about the Chinese restaurant serving aborted babies, they did what now?

Posted by: anon at August 7, 2008 6:53 PM

peta does these things because they are controversial so they'll get free publicity. News sources includin' moonbattery.com postin' about it is givin' them exactly what they want and so encourages them to do it again

"A rat is a pig is a dog is a boy" would be on the new liberal flag (written across a rainbow) - except their entire philosophy depends on self-destruction, which means they won't live long enough to have the flag made - unless, of course - liberals are hypocrites.

And this incident illustrates perfectly why the next time I ride Greyhound (which I do on ocassion), I'll be carrying my 9mm and CCW permit with me in my carry-on backpack. If Greyhound is incapable of stopping deranged lunatics from hurting myself or my fellow passengers, then they have no grounds to bitch when people start going armed when riding.

PS - As for the PETA fucktards, I love the alternate form of their organization's acronym: People Eating Tasty Animals. Mmm....barbecue ribs, Nathan's garlic hotdogs, grilled sirloin hamburgers! Yum!

Posted by: Brooklyn Red Leg at August 7, 2008 11:45 PM

Would a donation to their cause be considered PETA bread? Ouch.

Posted by: anonymous for obvious reasons at August 8, 2008 8:44 AM

I think that most of the dogs and cats in North America should be donated as a food supply to the starving africans...but Peta probably thinks they should be sent shiploads of pet food...What a world.

I just recently watched The Ingrid Newkirk documentary and I have nothing but new found respect for her and PETA! As long as we continue to enslave animals and consume them, we are directly killing our environment. So to all you that think PETA is nothing more then a group of terrorists, you're ignorant and choose to be so by eating animals.

Right. Thanks, M.

I think that this is a bunch of bull, PETA isnt looking at it as a loss of someones brother, uncle, son, or best friend. They are looking at people as "animals" and that isnt right. People are not animals we are human. But i do not feel that another human has the right to take another human life. Animals are a way of life and economy, Do these people of PETA put gas in their cars, hell yes they do!!! SO does that mean that we all shouldnt drive our cars and put gas in them, because after all that would b supporting the war in IRAQ now wouldnt it?!?! And i think that messing with someones funeral is bull as well. If someone in their family passed like this they wouldnt want some "group" messing it up or taking away from the life that was being celebrated, yes i understand that the life was taken,in a way that he had no defence against, but at the same time we all need to remember him (Tim) as he was, a wonderful person who put others before him!!!
