McCain Campaign Takes the Gloves Off
McCain spokesman Brian Rogers responds to a lame attempt by the Obama campaign to link McCain to the stale Abramoff scandal through Ralph Reed:
Barack Obama's ad is ridiculous. Because of John McCain, corruption was exposed and people like Jack Abramoff went to jail.
However, if Barack Obama wants to have a discussion about truly questionable associations, let's start with his relationship with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, at whose home Obama's political career was reportedly launched. Mr. Ayers was a leader of the Weather Underground, a terrorist group responsible for countless bombings against targets including the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon and numerous police stations, courthouses and banks. In recent years, Mr. Ayers has stated, "I don't regret setting bombs … I feel we didn't do enough."
The question now is, will Barack Obama immediately call on the University of Illinois to release all of the records they are currently withholding to shed further light on Senator Obama's relationship with this unrepentant terrorist?
What's this about University of Illinois releasing its records? Apparently there's much more to be learned about Obama's longstanding relationship with the Maoist terrorist Ayers. Obama WTF offers some interesting clues, which would lead to front page stories if the mainstream media had a higher calling than installing Obama in the White House.
If the media won't do its job and give us relevant background on Obama, people will be forced to get their news from the McCain campaign. Opening the door to guilt by association was not a wise move on Obama's part.

In addition to the ‘door of association’ the Obama camp opened (mistake – big mistake), they also are actively attacking McCain on ‘property ownership’ (bigger mistake).
They must have forgot that McCain earned his personal wealth position the old fashion American way by marrying it. Obam earned his by having his hands into govt handouts and slimy back room real-estate deals.

Penfold, I've wondered about that too. Lucifer's jettisoned everyone else that with an "uncomfortable" past, so why not Ayers? Does Ayers posses information about him that is even more damaging?

Okay confession time. I personnally know Bill Ayers and his wife and co conspiritor Bernadine Dorn. At one time I was a member of SDS (students for a democratic society- what a joke name that was!).
I will also tell you that the second time I ever had sex it was with now Professor Dorn.
It would be hard for me to tell you how truly evil these two are. The hate America they are just full of hate. They have no remorse over anything they ever did in life.
These two were at least partly responsible for the death of the three bomb makers in NYC in the early 1970's, the death of a policeman and brink's gaurd in the infamous brinks robbery in Boston and the bombing of the U of Wisconsin Math building which I think killed two.
The Obama campaign says that was all in the past and they have paid their debt to society but that is not true. They are just as hateful today, just as doctinaire and idealistic as they were in the 1960's and 70's. Ayers is the third generation of his family to hate America.
These two need to be on the terrorist watch list right along with all the Achmeds and Mohamads.

Penfold, I believe that Oblama has denied any connection with Ayers. He simply won't admit that he even KNOWS him!
