Liberals Consider Gustav Proof There Is a God

The Left has managed to squeeze so much propaganda out of Katrina, the approach of Gustav has them all but wetting their pants in anticipation. Here's Michael Moore on a soapbox provided by the vile Keith Olbermann, gloating that a potentially devastating hurricane scheduled to hit New Orleans during the Republican convention is "proof that there is a god in heaven."

The suffering and damage caused by major hurricanes are a cause for celebration for libs, so long as they can be spun to make Republicans look bad — as if Bush and McCain were somehow responsible for the weather.

Louisiana Republican Rep. Steve Scalise responds:

People in Louisiana, regardless of political affiliation, are making plans to leave to protect their families from this serious storm, and the God I know would not share Michael Moore's glee for our plight.

But former DNC chairman Don Fowler sure would. Via RedState:

No wonder moonbats hate God; the god of their sordid imaginations isn't a very likable character.

When that fat greaseball drops over from a massive heart attack, that will be proof enough.

That disgusting excuse for a human should have this rubbed in his face every minute of the day for the rest of his life.

So, millions of people will suffer and that's a proof there is a God in heaven...so long as it makes conservatives look bad? Why then do you want GitMo closed? Isn't the "suffering" of those detainees fodder to beat conservatives with? (Maybe you secretly know they aren't really suffering...therefore it's not good enough.)

Hey Michael, how about kids with cancer? Would that give you pleasure if you could use them to bash Republicans? How about the mentally ill? Downs Syndrome babies? (Wait...you libs are already using one to bash a Repulican, I forgot!)

You are beneath contempt. As for Olbermann, I love the dumb-shit "gee, that's sort of funny" expression on his face. What trash you are!

As a resident of Louisiana, here's my lil' ol' prediction... a forecast, if you will....

A little while ago, Gov. Jindal concluded yet another press conference on LPB, outlining the resources at hand & urging people to get the hell out now. There are already over a thousand National Guardsmen on duty and lots, lots more to come (like 16,000 over the next 2 days from here and other states). Bobby was rattling off counts of stuff, and it sounds like we'll have even more search-and rescue and reconaissance aircraft than during Katrina, many of which are ALREADY HERE & waiting. All 64 parishes have now declared states of Emergency (why us, Ouachita up in the northeast, I don't know... 'everybody else was doin' it' I guess), which coupled with Jindal's declarations, officially starts the ball rolling for FEMA assistance (unlike Katrina, where the Dumbocrat Governor sat on her ass until well after the storm). On the other side, Ray-Ray is being a doofus in NOLA. Gov. Jindal ordered the schoolbuses moving this time, not waiting for Nagin to do jack about it. Still, the difference between preparation for Katrina (effectively nothin') and Gustav (overkill) is like night and day! There was some state-level law enforcement official who spoke during the conference, and said something to the effect that when he requests stuff from the Jindal cabinet, it gets done immediately, and that "things that we're getting accomplished in minutes or hours took us DAYS... DAYS during Katrina".

So... g'head, libtards. Gloat and boast in gleeful anticipation of a high body-count that you can pin on the GOP again. Unfortunately for your plan to succeed, you'd need another Democrat running the show like that idiot Blanco. But guess what? It's an eeeeevil ol' Republican in charge this go-round, so I doubt you'll get anywhere near as many dead people as you'd like.

Cuz it ain't gonna happen, and you're just going to look like bigger dicks when it's all over. I'm gleefully anticipating the way lib reporters are going to try to spin the LACK of deaths this time into something bad for Dubya, FEMA, and the GOP in general. Should be hilarious to watch that particular dog chase his tail.

p.s. Worst I'm personally expecting is a 300 yard walk to work Tuesday morning in 30+ mile-an-hour winds and horizontal rain. Sucks, but I'll be ok up here. Pray for New Orleans, Houma, Morgan City, and all those on the Gulf Coast (just not the way Michael Moore prays, k?)

If memory serves, there was a Kuwaiti Muslim official back in the Katrina period who described the hurricane and floods as "punishment from Allah". So now we know why the moonbats hit so well with the Muslims, even though the former are known to decry religion as "the opiate of the masses": those two groups share, as well as their desire to bring West Civ. down, a belief in the same satanic deity.

The video of Olbermann and Moore do prove that at least one liberal program has been a stunning success.. the great educational dumb-down effort of the last 45 years.

Hurricane Gustav is Sarah Palin's fault. Thus speaketh the nutroots.

UPDATE:

I misspoke myself earlier.... there are THOUSANDS of NG troops in-state as I write this, over 1,700 just in New Orleans. Truely overkill, if that is a possibility in a situation like this. I reiterate, the libshits like Moore who are crowing like roosters will be eating crow after the response to this storm is shown to be more than adequate.

on my end: Just went and picked up some more canned goods & such. All the hotels here (West Monroe, Ouachita Parish) are packed with evacuees. I'm not worried so much about disruption of services as I am about price-spikes. Stocked up on ammo yesterday & filtered off a weeks' worth of drinking water, just in case. I imagine I might see some power outage, not much more. I'll keep y'all in the loop.

P.S. Anyone have a utility that will convert camera-phone video to something I can post? I'll take video of what it's like here at my place and put it up....

Stay safe, hiram, and best of luck to all those in danger.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at August 31, 2008 2:28 PM

Gustav may be weakening. Imagine the dismay of all those Democrats who had hoped that several thousand deaths would enhance their electoral prospects.

Posted by: V the K at August 31, 2008 3:20 PM

Gustav WEAKENING?

NO NO! God will NOT ALLOW THIS. He is GOING to screw up the RNC and make conservatives (like Sarah Palin, who is responsible for "unnatural hurricanes") to look REAL BAD.

Selah.

Posted by: matt at August 31, 2008 3:38 PM

Hey, Gustav reminds me, it woulda been a good idea to have opened up the strategic oil reserve two months ago, huh Nancy?

Posted by: forest at August 31, 2008 3:49 PM

I posted this before in another thread (I think...) but I actually saw on the MSM a school bus being used for evacuation. I bet Nagin himself made certain it got recorded and put on TV.

Posted by: Jimbo at August 31, 2008 5:24 PM

Nagin had squat to do with the school bus. Bobby Jindal got those suckers rolling. Nagin is still praying it's "the storm of the century" so he can somehow blame Bush, cry racism and get more federal dollars for "Chocolate City".

Posted by: matt at August 31, 2008 6:19 PM

More proof that the Demmies care more about their agenda then the people they claim to represent.

So, Gustav weakening huh? Must be a letdown for the Goracle. After all, he was predicting that class 5 hurricans would be hitting us nonstop since Katrina, and now the one storm that looked even close to matching Katrina seems to be dying down some. Probably won't stop him (and others like him) from blaming it on Global Warming though.

Aside from the Leftards, I can't see anyone unhappy about the idea of Gustav weakening.

Once again, the Blob (My nickname for Moore) reveals what a heartless, selfish sack of whale blubber he is.
Hearing what that disgusting pig was gleefully saying about God and the hurricane reminded me of a Bible verse I just came across a few days ago, Proverbs 17:5 (Especially the second part of it):
"Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their maker; Whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished."
If what Moore said in that interview doesn't count as gloating over disaster, I don't know what would. Yet more proof of what I've known for a long time now: Michael Moore had better start stocking up on asbestos underwear, he'll need it where he's going.

Thanks for everyone's well-wishes... but I'm sure I'll be OK here. Think about those truly in harms' way, not me. I'm stocked up with a weeks' worth of water, food, three weeks' of 'baccy, and 150 rounds of 9mm, some cash and bartering goods. If the shit hits the fan, I'll be okey-dokey. Pray for the others. Particularly those dumbshits who voted for Nagin... the ones who expect Big Daddy Guvmint to wipe their asses from cradle-to-grave, and who don't have the capacity to take care of themselves.

Oh, I could have shortened that last bit into "Democrats". Sorry.

I am a faitful agnostic Catholic. Not sure if God exists, I do know that Christanity is without a doubt the path. Not a dig on other religions btw.

This blatant use/attack of religion makes me sick.

hiram13pm - Just checked the NWS Radar - you be a getting wet now.

God Speed to ya.

One word of advice, unless you are running hot 9s outta that thang, and it aint no M1911, if you has to shoot one round, throw several after it for effect.

Look forward to hearing from ya on the other side of this one.

Semper Fi.

Oiao...

I've already taken into account the inherent wussiness of the 9mm parabellum round. That's why I load nothing but Hydra-Shoks. And I practice my "double-tap" every time I'm at the range. :)

Hooo-rah.

I love how the Democrats seem to think that since the comments were "private" and not meant to be public - it somehow matters. Like Obama with this "white people" clinging to guns and religion comment in San FranFreaksCo - what a person says when they think no one is listening speaks volumes about what they REALLY think.

At least Michael Moore came right out and publicly stated his comments. What bugs me is when people offer fake apologies that they really dont mean. Though Moore is still a boarish fat ass oaf and I wouldnt give a crap about if he suddenly keeled over from a heart attack.

Posted by: Anonymous at September 1, 2008 7:07 AM

I thought that was during one of Obama's actual speeches that he gave his 'Bitter, clinging to' speech?

Posted by: Adam at September 1, 2008 8:11 AM

The MSM are crying in their Chablis this morning. The report that Gustav is only a Category 2 hurricane has left them totally despondent.

Here they were hoping and praying for a category plus 5 hurricane so that they would have another two years of blaming Bush and Cheney, but Bush and Cheney fooled them by turning down their weather machine.

So, what will the MSM do? What will they do?

Well, to start with, they’ll have to remove Jackson, Sharpton, and Farrakhan from their speed dial list meaning that they may have to do some ‘real’ reporting for a change.

But don’t hold your breath.

Posted by: pocomoco at September 1, 2008 8:46 AM

So some preacher said he prayed for rain on Obama's speech, this justifies Fowler and Moore saying they hoped for a hurricane?

That's like throwing a snowball and then have someone retaliate by running you over with a snowplow.

I live in Alabama and we understand the devestation caused by this kind of storm, anyone who says something like that flaunts their ignorance and deserves to be boned up the ass.

Michael Moore has started a relief fund call "Feed the Pig" to help subsidise his snack food budget.
