Clooney's next mission: Making a Hollywood Hero out of Osama bin Laden's Driver. Yes, George Clooney is going to give the Hollywood treatment to an al Qaeda terrorist. Al Qaeda being that charming organization that bars women from buying cucumbers and butchers little boys to put fear into their families.

George Clooney once famously declared he could never run for public office because he'd "slept with too many women, done too many drugs and been to too many parties."

And George Bush is "just dim" in the mind of this liberal luminary.

Once the knowledge of Clooney's party-boy past becomes mainstream, will Obama claim that "this is not the George Clooney I knew"?

What a horse's ass. He's actually going to try and portray the driver as a hero? Here's hoping that movie bombs as miserably as the rest of the recent ultra- liberal anti- war Hollywood movies have.

Let's see, George Bush graduated from Yale with (slightly) higher grades than either of those well-known geniuses Kerry or Gore, and received an MBA from Harvard.

Clooney dropped out of a nameless college in Kentucky (probably cosmetology school).

And George Bush is dim?

I just want someone with values to stand up and say "Scum!". They tell us that they are compassionate, patriotic, dislike evil and have some values which are not continuation of their ego and no one's saying "Bullshit!" loud enough. Seriously this particular specimen has played some sort of scum all his life (robbers, thieves). Murderers, robbers, terrorists, serial killers...is there any kind of human trash that Hollywood failed to hug? And still many decent people think that people like Clooney adore evil due to some sort of incredible misjudgement and not due to being a trash themselves.

Hollywood knuckleheads are obviously too stupid to figure this out, but Hollywood is a prime target for al Qaeda.

It's full of Jews and homosexuals - two of their favorite groups - and it promotes the (as al Qaeda sees it, and not without some justice) decadent Western lifestyle and disseminates it all over the world.

On 9/11 al Qaeda attacked symbols of American economic and military power, and attempted to attack the symbol of American political power. That leaves the symbol of American cultural power, namely, Hollywood.

And as for media coverage, nailing say, the Academy Awards, would be tough to beat for making a splash. A couple of hundred dead iconic airheaded pretty boys and girls would dominate the news for months, and it wouldn't as protected as are government targets in Washington. Evidently the brain trust in Hollywood hasn't realized this.

So if I were in Hollywood (!), I'd be a little more supportive of efforts to combat terrorism. But then, that's me.

I have a logistical question: How can someone possibly take the views and opinions of 300 advisers on one aspect of policy and hope to turn it into something coherent? 300 foreign policy advisers? There's only 195 countries in the world! Most of those don't require 1 person keeping tabs on them full-time.

I also have a merit question: What qualifies George Clooney as an expert on anything except hair-care products and relative grades of blow? More to the point, what the hell does he know about foreign policy?

I think America's obsession with celebrity has about run its course - it's about to destroy us.

When I think about how patriotic the stars of the 30s and 40s were during WWII and then compare their patriotism to the lunacy that infects today's stars, I just get sad.

America doesn't have an obsession with celebrity. The media has an obsession with trying to convince America that it has an obsession with celebrity. What an absolutely boring and worthless bunch of narcissistic losers.

Who or what is a George Cooney? And besides the author of the article, who really gives a shit?

It is sad that Obama and his monkey handlers are so dumb as to think that public knowledge of Obama being advised by an ACTOR (who has held no public office) is good for convincing the indies and conseratives that Obmaa will provide sound political leadership.
