Rainbow Family Savages Attack Federal Agents — Again

Posted by Dave Blount at July 6, 2008 11:55 AM

As it has done in the past, the hippie cult calling itself the Rainbow Family has attacked federal agents:

National Forest Service officials, surrounded and attacked yesterday in Wyoming with sticks and stones by 400 members of the Rainbow Family, were given reason to regret their decision to cancel a long-planned national service project by the Boy Scouts of America in favor of the unorganized annual gathering of hippies, anarchists and "free spirits" who commune with nature and each other.

The Boy Scouts had been planning since 2004 to carry out a public service project called ArrowCorps5 in the area:

The plans include about 5,000 top Boy Scouts from across the country donating an estimated 250,000 hours of time to restore, repair, rebuild, reclaim and refurbish miles of trails, acres and glens at five different sites in the nation's forests. In most cases, the scouts pay their own travel and room and board expenses to participate in the biggest service project since World War II.

The Scouts had lined up all the permits required to appease the Forest Service bureaucracy. But then the Rainbow Family decided to hold a woodland orgy at the same time. Probably fearing violence if they stood up to the moonbats, Forest Service bureauweenies pulled the rug out from under the Scouts in favor of the hippies, who evidently don't need permits.

Cowardice is rarely rewarded. Predictably, they got violence anyway.

Still more predictably, the moonbats who attacked federal agents with rocks and sticks like the Stone Age savages they are have been presenting themselves as the victims. A cavewoman calling herself "Feather" claims to have been pepper-sprayed. The ACLU is accepting collect calls from any Rainbow Family cult member inventive enough to come up with tales of abuse.
