Our Future, if We Let It Be
You won't need a crystal ball to see America's future if the government is taken over by characters who, like Barack Obama, believe in race-based wealth redistribution. These policies have been tested in Zimbabwe. Here's how it's been working out:
Zimbabwe announced Wednesday that it is knocking 10 zeros off its hyper-inflated currency — a move that turns 10 billion dollars into one. […] The move comes a week after the issue of a 100 billion-dollar note — still not enough to buy a loaf of bread.
Not that there is anything to buy anyway, "amid chronic shortages of food, medicine, power and water."
Unemployment is now 80% in Zimbabwe, and inflation is 12,500,000%. The erstwhile "Breadbasket of Africa," Zimbabwe was a relatively wealthy country before the introduction of a political ideology known to some as Black Liberation Theology. Someday they may be saying the same about America.

On a tip from hiram13pm.

I agree with pretty much everything I see at this site, but using that picture is pretty heart-breaking. Obama is one stupid libtard, but I hate to see that defenseless, dying child used to highlight the lunacy of Left's positions...

Dan, seeing pictures like this are absolutely necessary. Would you rather avert your eyes to their suffering and pretend it doesn't happen there, nor could it ever happen here?

Most people do not realize that the first slaves in what would later become the United States were poor white (Anglo Saxon) people in Virginia.

Let's not forget the ethnic cleansing of whites, especially farmers, in communist occupied Rhodesia.

Barack Obama may be wrong-headed about a lot of things, but comparing him to Mugabe, or suggesting that the United States will become Zimbabwe if Obama is elected, is plain stupid. It's the kind of argument that will lead moderate voters ( remember thm? the folks McCain needs to win ?) to think that conservatives are weird, bizarre and too crazy to be trusted with government.
That is not a defense of Barack Obama - it is a suggestion that if you want to see him lose in November, it willtake arguments a whole lot more rational than this one.

Obama uses "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" by Stevie Wonder as his theme song.
I'll suggest another Stevie Wonder song - "Master Blaster" aka "Jammin'"
"They want us to join their fighting
But our answer today
Is to let all our worries
Like the breeze through our fingers slip away
Peace has come to Zimbabwe
Third World's right on the one
Now's the time for celebration
'Cause we've only just begun
Didn't know that you
Would be jammin' until the break of dawn
Bet you nobody ever told you that you
Would be jammin' until the break of dawn
You would be jammin' and jammin' and jammin', jam on"

The use of this picture is inappropriate and disrespectful. This was taken by Kevin Carter in Sudan and not in Zimbabwe as the label suggests.
Witnessing this incident probably contributed to Carter's depression and suicide.
Showing a photoshopped picture of Obama throwing someone off the Twin Towers would have the equivalent moral weight of this slop.
I know...take a breath. However, in order to make a rather fantastic point shocking, this merely provides fuel for liberal sociopaths.

Yeah... I'm with fiberal on this one. When you deal with lefty whackjobs you have to get every little fact right or they go apeshit... and the pic doesn't really work for the story. Maybe you can find another, more suitable one. The story is 100% legit... it would suck for its impact to be softened by liberal hair-splitting.

Liberal whackjobs don't like pictures of aborted babies, either.
Screw the dipshit liberals. By making posts that won't offend them or that may make them go "apeshit" - - then in essence they win. Shutting us up is what they're all about.
The situation in Sudan is different than Zimbabwe how? The dictator/ruling regime has a different name?
The outcome is the same. DEATH!
I defend Van's choice of graphics. Socialism spawns apathy, apathy spawns death. And the vultures (socialist liberal elite) wait to eat what's left.
Good job, Van.

metatron I agree with your comment. Not that McCain would be better/worse than Obama.
Jimbo, what can I say, you are Jimbo, you speak your mind and sometimes make valid points, but you act like the left you so despise. Shouting down people and insulting is what you do. I am starting to think you are a troll/secret identity.
Posted by: Parker at July 31, 2008 8:53 PM
By golly, Parker - you are absolutley right!
I should be shut up, and this website should be shut down for insulting the cowardly murdering leftist baby-kiling regimes which you obviously support.
Your opinion means so much to me - I'm certain I will wake up tomorrow and, rahter than an engineer, I'll be an abortionist in Africa.
If I could just believe in Hope and Change, and learn the "yes, we can" chant, it will be so! :-)
I'm SO blind.

Jimbo,
I am not your enemy. And you know this. Classic left smear. YOU said I support abortions or whatever, dude give it a rest. Again lib mentality, always the victim "I should be shut up". Again, give it a rest, I know you are better than that. You sound like KHarn, take a page from Burrrrring Hot, that guy is a person I respect. Personal attacks win what?

PARKER
Stop trying to turn our words against us, you are not fooling anyone.
Liberals try these shame tactics to put us on the defencive because they know that (Unlike themselves) conservative people have MORALS and a scence of HONOR. But their methods are always so heavy-handed and clumsy that no one falls for it.

Maybe you could use a picture from this link to more accurately show what the left wishes to do to every white American.

Ian Smith was bad, how?
Mugabe will NEVER go peacefully, nor at the behest of the populace. Who cares the world wants him to go. Who cares what other African Gov'ments want. Who cares what the people of Harare, Bulawayo, or even Beitbridge want.
All that matters is Mugabe maintains the reins, and his loyal group of followers know he's the Big Man. He's proved (countless times over and over) that he has the power, and will not relinquish it willingly. Under no Uncertain terms.
Either get used to it, or, prepare for force of arms. The Best chance of success is using the Commonwealth and UK support. The ANC has no desire to 'change the situation'- He's their guy.
But, if its a UN op, its going to be a boondoggle....
