Obama the Symbol
The Obamessiah's ballyhooed visit to Berlin not only provided an opportunity to put down America in front a vastly exaggerated crowd of cheering Germans, it allowed him to transcend his humanity by becoming a symbol of a better America, and even inspired new artwork from Hugh:

Zimbabwe's Central Bank is dropping ten zeros from it's currency... this is a week after the issue of Zimbabwe's first $100,000,000,000 note (which still isn't enought to buy a loaf of bread). Reichsmarks, anyone?
On October 17th last year, the Zimbabwean Gubbahmint 'hiked' the price of a loaf of bread from $70,000 to $100,000 (about, officially, $3.33 US). Now $10 billion won't buy one. That's like... oh, in the space of less than 10 months having the Value Menu price at McDonald's go from $1 to $142,857.15
But then, that's Socialism... vote yourselves filthy rich so everyone can be dirt poor.

oops... flubbed my math. It's the new Z$100 billion note that won't buy a loaf of bread. So, that dollar Double Cheeseburger would actually be $1,428,571.43.
Sorry. But hey, a Cheeseburger here, a Medium Fries there, and pretty soon you're talkin' real money.

If it wasn't on video, it'd be hard to believe such stupidity actually comes out of this god-man-tool's mouth.

The article gets pretty amusing as it goes on. To wit: Ridiculing the assumption that dangling flags were dangerous, she plumped the furled-up standard on the manager's head and asked him: "Would that really hurt if it fell on your head?"

The EU vision of its future: little children, reporting their parents' "climate crimes," complete with scorecards, climate crime cards, and encouragement to turn in their parents and neighbors for hurting the world. They are encouraged to put together "climate crime files" on adults in order to ensure they don't commit the crimes again, "or else".
Apparenly, not a single person in the EU hierarchy has read the history of the 1930's.
