Obama Plans to Be President for 8 to 10 Years
The gaffable junior Senator from Illinois has once again demonstrated just how much of a dope you can be and still get a degree from Harvard, provided you have the correct ethnic qualifications. Today on CBS's Deface the Nation, Obama implied that he will be President for "the next 8 to 10 years."
Apparently the repeal of the 22nd Amendment is another aspect of the Change he will deliver, along with surrender to terrorists and steeply higher taxes. Or maybe he thinks he's entitled to rule for an extra couple of years, since he campaigned in 57 states instead of the usual 50.
Too bad McCain doesn't make blunders this idiotic. TV audiences would be treated to some hilarious one-liners. But there's to be no joking where the Obamessiah is concerned, because he's "not a comical figure."

On a tip from Cheetah.

What was that saying? 'A mind is a terrible thing to waste.....'
In this case, 'An Ivy League education was a terrible thing to waste!'
OT - Or possibly coming to the US if Obama is elected.
In the UK, where every aspect of life is watched by the Natzi video Coppers, citizens can not even photo people who threaten them!
Photographing thugs 'is assault', police tell householder snapping proof of anti-social behaviour
Along with having no rights to self protection, remember that there are 1,000 laws that will let the state into your home

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."
- Barack Obama
Nothing like a quote to let us know what BHO has in store for us. Why would anyone want to change the greatest into something else unless it was for personal gain?
No thanks, keep the change.

The only way Obama could server 10 years is to become John McCain's VP, then 2 years in he becomes president (presumable due to death or resignation of McCain) then is elected twice. Does this mean he is asking McCain to accept him as his VP?

I guess with them extra 7 to 10 states he can stay in power for 10 years.

In Corporations, when someone spins their wheels wanting to fix things that don't need fixing, we call that Micro-Managing. It's what people who don't have the qualities and understanding of how things really work, do in place of actually demonstrating leadership. Smart folks adhere to the "If it isn't broke, don't fix it" theory and it works quite well. But if Obama's goal is to destroy us, he is well on his way to doing it. May as well make preparations for the Cornonation now.

I figure Obama plans to just throw out the Constitution, as the liberals would love to do. Either that, or he figures this election AND the next election are in the bag, and when his second term is up, he'll just refuse to leave office. If you try to forcibly extract him, or say that he is doing something patently illegal, you're a racist.
On another note, his speaking gaffs really scare me. Not because he made mistakes; we all make mistakes. I'm scared because he screws up the easy stuff, like how many states there are, and how many years one can serve in the office HE IS RUNNING FOR! This is a person who, if elected, will be speaking to world leaders on our behalf, laying out our position on our affairs to the world. What on earth will he wind up telling them?
For all those who believe there is no liberal media bias (and I work with someone who believe just that), consider this: Dan Quayle was filleted and pan-fried by the media for dumb mistakes he made during appearances and speaking engagements, to the point that it ruined his political career. Quayle was regarded as an inexperienced leader and an intellectual lightweight, proved out by his sometimes bizarre statements and silly mistakes. Obama is an inexperienced leader (two years in the Senate, running for President most of that time) and an intellectual lightweight, proved out by his sometimes bizarre statements and silly mistakes.
Obama is hailed as the second coming of JFK. Quayle was vilified and ridiculed. QED, there is a huge and obvious liberal media bias.

Coder: You can bet your bottom dollar I'm terrified along with you. The fact that there are "57 Islamic States" in the world tells me it may have been more of a "Freudian Slip" than a gaff based on ignorance. I also agree, if we get Obama in the White House and a Democrat dominated Congress... we and the Constitution will be screwed.

Obama never said he’d be President for 10 years. Dealing with people can extend past the end of a President’s term(s) in office. Just because nobody will take W’s calls when he leaves office in January 2009 is no reason to believe that life ceases upon leaving the White House.
If you’re really worried about candidate misstatements, how about this beauty from McCain on “Good Morning America” on July 21. When questioned about the seriousness of the situation in Pakistan, McCain replied: “We have a lot of work to do, and I'm afraid that it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq-Pakistan border.”
Exactly, Senator McCain. The first struggle will be to try to find the Iraq-Pakistan border, which doesn’t exist since the two countries don’t border on one another.
Maybe one of them is near Czechoslovakia, Senator McCain? You've been commenting how Russia has been hassling Czechoslovakia (twice last week) when Czechoslovakia hasn't existed in 15 years.
And McCain can't understand the difference between Sunnis and Shias, even when Joe Lieberman practically crawled inside McCain's ear, trying to explain the difference.
Obama got an undergrad degree from Columbia University and a law degree, magna Cum Laude, from Harvard Law School. McCain finished 894 in a class of 899 at the Naval Academy.
Also:
There are NOT "57 Islamic States"; that's a lie.
Obama NEVER said: "My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."
Look it up:

There are NOT "57 Islamic States"; that's a lie.
Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is an international organization with a permanent delegation to the United Nations. It groups 57 member states, from the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Caucasus, Balkan, Southeast Asia, South Asia and South America. The official languages of the organization are Arabic, English and French.
I'm not a liar, but you diogenes are a dipshit and a moonbat!
