Mr. T Learns That Making Fun of Sissies Is Not Allowed
No one stands in the way of politically correct totalitarianism — not even the formidable Mr. T, who has been silenced in his attempt to help sell Snickers bars by intolerant homosexuals:
An advert featuring the A-team actor Mr T has been pulled after complaints in the US that it is offensive to homosexual men.[… The] advert, first shown in Britain on July 13, never aired on American television, but prompted a flood of complaints from the US claiming it was offensive to homosexuals.
During the advert, Mr T, who played B.A. Baracus in the 1980s series The A-Team, pulls up in a large truck next to a speed walker and shouts: "Speed walking. I pity you fool. You are a disgrace to the man race. It's time to run like a real man."
He then fires Snickers bars at the man until he breaks into a sprint.
The "flood of complaints" apparently consisted of two homosexuals squealing in outrage from across the ocean to Britain's Advertising Standards Authority. This sufficed for the ad to be pulled worldwide. Here I was thinking Snickers had nuts.
The forbidden ad:

This is literally one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Long live Mr. T!

Great. Absolutely hysterical commercial. After reading all the insanity on this site, its nice to have a pretty good laugh for a change.

Another example of how a vocal, less than 10% minority can destroy American ingenuity. This is HILARIOUS, and they should not have caved in to the idiots!!!

Gays are a very high-strung and fussy people and have been ever since they immigrated to this country from France.

"...and it came to pass that no one in that land was to be offended. And all the peoples, both servant and master, bond slave and free man were bound not to utter any word from their lips, as everything could offend someone.
They looked round about them, wondering how this had happened. Who was this accuser who seemed to be everyone and no one? But none were able to ask, since that question itself might be offensive to some..."
When are we going to show some balls and say "Hey, you don't like it? DEAL with it!" STAND UP folks. It will soon truly be the case that you won't be able to say, read, watch or speak ANYthing!

What exactly was gay about the racewalker?

I pity the fruit!

I didn't even know gays were into speedwalking.
Funny commercial! Mister T rocks!

What exactly was gay about the racewalker?
What wasn't teh ghey about the racewalker?
But that's an interesting point. Nothing in the commercial said he was ghey. But the whining complainers decided he was such a sissy, he had to be ghey.

A Gatling Gun that shoots candy bars! It makes me proud to be an american! (Even more)

V the K is right, the commercial never said the guy was "gay," but since he looks like a sissy, he MUST be gay. Its funny since minorities complain about being profiled when they really just steriotype themselves.

Made my day, too funny. Mr. T where have you been?

As I've said before, we have a right to Freedom of Speech. We DON'T have a right to NOT BE OFFENDED! Don't like what you see, avert your eyes, turn off the television/radio or whatever.

I do not see at all why some thought this was offensive to homosexuals. Where in the ad is there any reference whatsoever to homosexuality? This ad bein' pulled makes as much sense to me as the time that homosexuals complained about that Snickers superbowl ad where two men accidentally kissed and in reaction, one says "Quick! Do something manly!"

Perhaps Mars should have Boy George selling Snickers. Boy George could be shown eating a Snickers while saying "Every day, I feel like eating a bar and some nuts."

Wow... that commercial is fucking hilarious. Glad to see some advertising and marketing folks still have it.

That was a hilarious commercial, it would have made a good Superbowl ad. Shame it's been pulled by a couple gays complaining.
