I agree the "black hole" thing was a masterstroke of ignorance, and I hate victim culture with every bone of my body, but I can definitely see where "black sheep" would and should piss people off. And to a lesser degree angel and devil's food cake.

The term "black sheep" has been around a long time.What color are most sheep? White to off white so the term may have originated a long ago when alot of people associated an odd color sheep as maybe the work of the devil. What about the "Black Sheep" squadron in WWII? That wasn't about racism it was about the squadron not being all spit and polish militarily. If someone gets upset over the term black sheep or the name of a kind of cake then they are very lucky people. I sure wish all I had to complain about was something as trivial as cake and a term that's been used for generations.

I disagree. To give in is to give credence to these bozos who can no longer tell the genuinely offensive apart from the benign. There is no right to not be offended! Not in the Constitution, not anywhere else! In fact, the Constitution pretty well allows people to use any words they like, offensive or otherwise. Offensive speech needs the most protection, since it is speech that by its very nature will have people that want to deny or control it. Like this idiot in Dallas.
