Moonbats Campaign against Fox News for Not Bowing Down to Obama
Nutroots lunatics don't even have their dime store messiah in the White House yet and already they are trying to stifle Fox News for failing to toe the pro-Obama line. A rap thug calling himself "Nas" (presumably short for "Nasty") is joining a campaign by ColorOfChange.org and MoveOn.org to punish the network for being "racist," — i.e., for not endorsing Obama and heavily slanting all coverage accordingly, as all the other networks have done.
Their campaign is heartily endorsed by their fellow militant kooks at Seattle PI, which absurdly accuses Bill O'Reilly of calling for the awful Michelle Obama to be lynched.
Another charge is that a Fox anchor made the very common error of mixing up Obama's name with that of Osama bin Laden, although the similarity in their names largely accounts for Obama's success among liberals; aside from being mulatto and capable of reading a teleprompter, he has no other qualification to be President.
No word on when MoveOn.org will launch a campaign against Ted Kennedy…
…or CNN…

On a tip from Oiao.

I am sure after a few "re-education" sessions in Room 101, FoxNews will come to love The Obama.

Caught Keith Olberman's insanity last night - for about 2 minutes (all I could stand). He was ranting and raving about FOX NOISE (NEWS) and doing his worse, worser and worst schtick witf FOX news and the last 2 with "Clown" O'Reilly as he calls him. Keith is a very bitter man. Not surpised since FOX / Bill OReilly in particular kicks the butts of MSNBC and Keiths show in the reatings by 4 to 1. The Green eyed monster of jealousy is the only thing Green about that network. I would be suprised to hear that Keith snapped, grabbed an AK-47 and shot up FOX news. The guy is a ticking time bomb.

I note ColorOfChange.org lacks diversity. The picture on their website features one race and one sex.

Its 'their color', 'your change' Jimbo.

Jimbo, that simply isn't true. There's almost too much diversity. Look carefully in the bottom right corner of the photo. There is a white guy. Well, part of a white guy. We see his right eye, half of his nose, and half of his upper lip.
That's more than enough equal time.

Congressional Republicans take a page out of the liberal fascism playbook and write the NY Times to tell the media what they should and shouldn't print.
Disgusting.
These are the morons who we are entrusting to do things like fight the "Fairness Doctrine". Here's a sample of today's Republican thinking:
"A national publication such as the Times has a clear obligation to provide equal access to its op-ed page to both candidates," the Republicans wrote, "to convey fairness by the paper and to help further the national debate."
I say: fuck 'em. Let's get the Obama thing over with already and hopefully in 2012 there will be a real Republican party to vote for.

I keep saying it. The True Believers are literally in a religious fervor over Obamessiah. It's worse than the Bush Derangement Syndrome. You cannot be even slightly critical of Obama without engendering hatred (I use the word in all seriousness) and an almost frantic pouring forth of the Gospel Of "O".
It's sickening, and it shows how empty and pathetic the lives of these people are. That Fox News should DARE to question the Word From On High is (literally, no joke) heresy in their eyes. As for Olbermann, I think I smell the Obama White House press secretary.

Um - a few days ago I believe Hot Air had a video up showing Dan Rather calling him Osama. Even tacked on the bin Laden as well - but it was in a conversation about the Obamamessiah.
I can't find the link but I'm pretty sure it was Hot Air that had it. Classic stuff.

What road are going to name after Tony Snow, I wonder?
Posted by: Oiao at July 23, 2008 2:30 PM
I think "Nas"'s name is a reference to NASAL. Got a nose shaped like and big as a schlong, maybe????

A rap thug calling himself "Nas" (presumably short for "Nasty")
Actually it's short for "Nassir". (You're surprised, right?)

There is a difference between making a moral argument to do the right thing and threatening to use law to force someone to do what you demand. Don't make the same mistake of moral equivalence like the socialists.

Well, here is a little more of the same MoonBattery against FOX news.
Protesters denounce Fox News as racist

That should be "Don't make the mistake of moral equivalence like the socialists".

Now I see why the Dalibama wants to create a national security force as large as the military to insure such actions are enforced. Change you can believe in. For the good old days of the Br4ownshirts.

That should be "Don't make the mistake of moral equivalence like the socialists".
The issue is not one of moral equivalence. If a US congressman, in his role away from Congress as a private citizen, let's say bowling or hanging out with friends, wants to say "The NYT really fucked up that McCain op-ed thing; they should fix it" - that'd be bad judgment, but acceptable behavior. For the United States Congress to make an official statement or document admonishing an independent media company for choosing to publish or not publish articles, that is a misuse of power with dangerous long-term consequences.
Repesentatives of our government, in their capacity as representatives, should, in my opinion, never tell independent institutions what they should do or even what the government thinks of what they do. This is a very slippery slope. Just because it's usually moonbatts using the levers of institutional power to get their way doesn't mean Republicans can't be equally bad.
I think the NYT screwed up, and the punishment should take place in the marketplace, with fewer subscriptions, reduced credibility, etc, not through official government criticism.
To simplify it to its essential core: what in the hell is the US governmnt doing meddling in the editorial decision process of an independent media company? Is this Russia? Or China? We are free, baby, and if some idiot republicans neeed to hear that along with the moonbats, so be it.
But I guess the party that's spent the last month bailing out investment banks, dysfunctional GSE's, and now thousands of homeowners who wanted that extra sunroom and will now be given my tax dollars so they can pay for it without defaulting, I guess that party may as well take the next step and put it on official US government stationary what they want the major media to write. It fits them like a glove.
Like I said earlier in the thread, hopefully in 2012 there'll be something that looks a little more like an actual Republican party to vote for.

Mega, they have already done that...remember Harry Reid's letter to Clear Channel's CEO about Rush Limbaugh's comments about phony soldiers (taken way out of context, of course), signed by 40 other senators including Dick Durbin, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer and other lib luminaries?
"We call on you to publicly repudiate thesee questions that call into question their service and sacrifice and to ask Mr. Limbaugh to apologize for his comments."

so I did a little swap-o-change-o:
"ColorOfChange.org exists to strengthen White America's political voice. Our goal is to empower our members—White Americans and our allies—to make government more responsive to the concerns of White Americans and to bring about positive political and social change for everyone."
See, if you change their message from "black" to "white" its "hate speech" -- when its using "black" its affirmative, political action y'all.
