Katie Cupcake Weeps and Moans
One of Obama's assistant lackeys, the CBS News anchor Katie Couric, seems to have resigned herself to a march to the tar pits. In a risibly fawning piece on Haaretz.com, Couric bats her lashes and bubbles that it was "a delight" to interview the repugnant terrorist Yasser Arafat, but it seems the good times are receding in the rear view mirror for Katie and the rest of the dinosaur media. She mopes:
Unfortunately I have found out that many viewers are afraid of change. The glory days of TV news are over, and the media landscape has been dramatically changed. News is available now for everyone, everywhere, all the time, and everybody fights for the last pieces of the shrinking pie.
Because "many viewers are afraid of change," change has left the poor establishment media behind. Whatever you say, Miss Cupcake!
The somewhat ditzy woman who is paid $15 million a year to read a teleprompter on a half hour news program that virtually no one watches also complains that sexism has been holding her down.
I find myself in the last bastion of male dominance, and realizing what Hillary Clinton might have realized not long ago: that sexism in the American society is more common than racism, and certainly more acceptable or forgivable.
Don't cry, Katie. It makes you look like a raccoon.

Network news hitting the skids is a change I can believe in. Let's hope they take Obama and the Congressional majority with them.

Huh? Katie, it's not the viewers who are afraid of change, it's the broadcasters, i.e., your lot.
Also, you're making an unwarranted presumption there, Katie, namely, that you have viewers.

Kudos to Katie for laying it on the line! Great to see someone that high up not sweeping it under the carpet. Neither do we in our NYC comedy, "feminazi". Dare ya to go!
