Global Warming Could Make You Get Stung by a Wasp

Never mind that global warming stopped years ago, and that Russian scientists confirm that it never had anything to do with carbon dioxide anyway. The important thing is to panic. The latest horror unleashed by hoaxers in the media is wasps:

Insect stings have been on the rise in Alaska, and experts think that global warming could be to blame. A recent report shows steady increases statewide in patients seeking medical care for insect stings.
The report also noted that in 2006 two people in Fairbanks died due to anaphylactic shock after being stung by small hornet relatives known as yellow jackets — the first time such deaths have been reported in the city.

Finally — actual deaths linked to global warming. May the Goracle be praised for his foresight! Of course, like peanuts, wasps are life threatening only if you are allergic to them.

Although the National Geographic report admits that yellow jackets are not vectors for disease, it neglects to mention that they are beneficial insects because they are significant predators of pest insects that eat our crops and gardens. They also keep down the fly population. In large numbers, they might even be used on moonbats.

Unlike global warming hoaxers, yellow jackets are our friends.

I got worked over pretty good by those little buggers once. At the time I thought it was because I ran over their nest with a lawn mower, but now I know it must have actually been global warming's fault.

NY Times rejects Op-Ed written by John McCain less than a week after it ran an op-ed by Barack Obama:

http://drudgereport.com/flashnym.htm

This is the same NY Times that published an op-ed by a representative of Hamas last year:

And also the same NY Times whose "Readers Representative" warned of "The Danger of the One-Sided Debate" in another op-ed last year that defended the publishing of the earlier Hamas op-ed:

Same here, forest. Yellowjackets are little, but they pack a wallop.

I guess Gaia sent her Air Force to get us for causing global warming. Let's just hope she doesn't take the same aversion to global stupidity, because there's lots of that around.

Oh wait, you ment "Women's Army Service Pilots", didn't you?

For what it's worth, yellow jackets are also detritivores (sp.?), i.e., they feed upon dead animals, too - they are part of nature's clean-up crew.

That being said, as I have the potential for becoming allergic to them, I have to take defensive/offensive actions against them, when they are in my back yard.

And they like beer. I've come close to drinking them a few times.

Yellowjackets and global warming form a horrific vicious cycle! Witness:

Global warming causes more yellowjackets.

People douse the nests with gasoline and set fire to them. This crreates millions, billions, gajillions of tons of harmful CO2 and creates global warming.

Global warming causes more yellowjackets.

TEH HORRER!!!!

Btw, Russian scientists' argument illustrated here.
