We've had two cold years in a row now and the temperature hasn't gone up for 10 years, and everyone is still going on and on about global warming as if it's an actual problem. It's insane.

Once this one is put to bed, we can stay focused on other fake problems like the sasquatch menace, salt shaker lids with too many holes and Islamophobia.

California passed a law that all cars have to display a green-rating (similar to an inspection sticker). I checked out the article on the "Green" website (below) and of over 150 responses, about 95% of them consider 'global warming' foolish. Even greenies are beginning to see through the Algorian ruse.

Is it mere coincidence that these temperature changes roughly corelate to the solar cycles ? I predict that after this cooling trend there will be a warming trend followed by a cooling trend then a warming trend... looks like a natural pattern to me. Perhaps Algore has no appreciation for how huge and pervasive that glowing nuclear furnace is in the sky.

When I was a young woman, I didn't think there were enough stupid people in the United States to keep a hoax like this going for anytime. Eventually Americans would want to see some solid evidence and then run the snake oil salesman (The Goracle) out of town on a rail. Now I'm wondering where they will ever find enough village idiot costumes to outfit them all after BHO's Coranation as our appointed Monarch. It's enough to make a person give up.

Very rarely will you find an actual Global-Warming-Believer who wants to discuss and debate the science rationally. 99% of the time they come out swinging the old "holocaust deniers" and other name calling routines, and then degenerate into "racists, homophobes, haters, etc."

It's really too bad, because this is one of the few major issues of our time that can truly be broken down based on known science.

I saw one rebuttal on another blog against evil deniers that said simply "read the IPCC report", and that was her total argument. Methinks it unlikely she has herself read said report. Same goes for most/all koolaiders.

The only one willing to discuss Global Warming is at the forefront of the hoax: Al Gore.

This issue brings me back to the year 2000 scare. I remember grocery stores actually running out of gallons of drinking water because people were so nervous!

I guess that since the world didn't end when all the computers rolled over, propagandists had to dream up something else.

Why do GW supporters always show examples of GW in some remote place? Alaska, mountain glaciers, artic stations, Amazon, Africa, etc? Show me in my backyard if it is real. Example, if GLOBAL temps are up, why has my water well temp stayed the same for the last ten years? My well is not a true deep water well (60 feet maybe), but it stayed to average local temps and has not varied a SINGLE degree for over ten years based on the season. Why? Show me, explain please?

I say this because the environmentalists pointed out real threats in the 1960's with stuff like laudry detergents having phosphorus/phosphates type stuff that did cause major problems with algae blooms in Lake Erie and Lake Michagan. Industry took reasonable steps and fixed the problem at MININAL cost.

Parker, you are in a dilemma: you are trying to understand a problem that doesn't exist. (I know you already know this!)

The whole "Global Warming" hoax is being used for one reason, to break western (esp. U.S.) economies and foist socialism in the aftermath.

Climate change happens. Has in the past. Will in the future. Not a damn thing we can do about it. Should we live as clean as possible? Sure. Should we allow our economy to be destroyed? HELL NO.

Someone referred to Y2K and compared it to man-made global warming. Y2K was very real, but there was a massive effort to update computer systems over several years that averted any real crisis. The global warming hysteria however is a completely different matter - its totally overblown. Problem is that while its true that the Earth is warmer now than 300 years ago, its also less warm than 1000 years ago when Viking civilization was at its peak and they were exploring North America - 500 years before Columbus. Of course then it got much colder and their colonies in North America and Greenland were abandoned. Most GW is likely due to the sun - considering temperatures are also rising on Mars and other moons/planets. Even Pluto (I still call it a planet regardless of what the scientific boobs calls it).

Some are suprised there are so many people who believe man is the cause of global warming (or at least a major part of it). Considering how many people believe the 9-11 Truther theories that the US government was behind the attacks, its not suprising so many believe the global warming con artists - in fact I'll bet that most of the people who believe the 9-11 Truthers also believe the global warming BS too.

In related news from the world of politically correct pseudo-science, the astronomical term 'black hole' is now racially insensitive. I guess they'll now be called, 'African-American Holes.'

Anony, computers are STUPID! They can't figure "00" means "I should shut down because I haven't been invented yet" because that would be true REASONING. It was said that the comu=puters woud "think" that "00" meant the year "1900", but why not "1800"? Or "Year zero"? It wouldn't have ment anything to a computer because in the un-updated computers, after the date reaches December 31, 1999, the date sequince simply starts over. To a computer of the last century, the date sequince would go "01-02-03.... 89-99-00-(Return. Begin Sequince) 01-02-03"
That is, unless some IDIOT programed the computer to shut down on "00". Besides, a few people had said that the REAL shut-down would be in 2001 because they realised that these computers were programed to "think" that "00" came after "99"..

Now they are running out of IP addresses so they are saying the "End of the Internet" is near! Like all those companies making phat bucks are going to let THAT happen!
