I know this is antithetical to leftists, but what Senator Coburn does on his own time as a volunteer is really his business alone, as long as he is not doing something illegal. In essence, the Dems are saying that public employees can do NOTHING in the private sector while they are public employees (if this is really their concern, that the hospital is no longer gov't funded). And we wonder why the government is so bloated.

On that note, how could they possibly object to delivering babies for free? Doesn't that help the poor, the people the Dems claim to represent? Isn't that the "caring" and "compassion" the lefties are always on about?
