Another Obamathon Memento
Souvenirs have hit the market for the Berlin leg of the Obamessiah's heavily hyped traveling media extravaganza. This hot new poster comes via Michelle Malkin:

Obama's Berlin speech is to take place at the Siegessäule monument:
The Siegessäule — or Victory Column — was erected in memory of Prussia's victories over Denmark (1864), Austria (1866) and France (1870/71). The column originally stood in front of the Reichstag, Germany's parliament building, but was moved by Adolf Hitler to its current location in 1939 to make way for his planned transformation of Berlin into the Nazi capital "Germania."
You've got to hand it to Obama's puppeteers: they've got a real knack for symbolism.
Hat tip: Hot Air.

Obama is speaking at a monument to three unilateral ass-kickings Prussia handed out to its neighbors bringing most of Germania under one nationalistic government? They had hope for a unified Germany from Strasbourg France to Memel Lithuania, so they made some change!
If only Denmark, Austria, and France had had the judgement to have unconditional chats with the Prussians it all would have ended with hugs and kisses.

Obama: a modern-day Neville Chamberlain.

P Diddy has more dignity than this guy. In fact Mr. Diddy has more experience, and in the private sector, too!

That my not be the best gesture to use in a PR photo from Berlin.
