Times Building Climbers Cancel Each Other
In separate incidents, two people tried to climb up the outside of the New York Times building today. One was Alain Robert, who has made a career out of similar stunts. But this time, he did it for a purpose even higher than his lust for attention, as he announced in a press release:
I am climbing with my bare hands, as a PEACEFUL way to create support for far greater and urgent action from world leaders on global warming. Greenhouse gas emissions are still climbing. So am I!!!
A few hours after Robert's gesture in support of the increasingly alarming cult of environmentalism was interrupted by police, another guy started climbing the building in a Malaria No More shirt.
Malaria would be no more if it weren't for environmentalists. DDT had pretty much done away with it, until Rachel Carson came out with the propagandistic diatribe Silent Spring, said to inspire the Goracle himself. Now use of DDT — which has been described as the most beneficial substance ever devised — is almost totally suppressed. The result has been the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of Third World children, who have been sacrificed on the altar of the phony religion that Robert pretended to climb the Times building for.
On a tip from Wiggins.

"The result has been the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of Third World children..."
Not thousands, millions.

"Rates of mental illness and insanity are climbing high, so am I!"
Isn't that what he said?
