Outrage over Obama Sock Puppet
Some well-meaning Obama fans created what they regarded as a "cute and cuddly toy," intended to introduce children to the political process — a socket puppet monkey with ears just like BHO's:

It did not go over well. Sputters black Democrat Charles Henderson:
When have you ever seen another presidential candidate depicted in such a manner?
Gee, Charles. I really can't remember.
On a tip from Burning Hot.

By the way, it turns out that that story about Judge Kozinski and his 'pron website' was An LA Times political hit-piece designed to influence the outcome of a pending trial.

Compared with the Bush-as-Chimp pictures, it is benign, like the common teddy bear caricatures.

These people are completely devoid of humor.

They can dish it out, but they can't take it!

The ObamaMonkey makes sense.
I don't get the connection on the BushMonkey...it does not make sense.
They are just pissed because a 'sock puppet' like Obama, makes sense to them.
Sorros has his hand planted firmly up the ObamaMonkey's sock puppet ass.

Did someone knit an auto-queue machine accessory to go with it?
I understand that the puppets mouth doesn't move without this additional bit ;)

This is sort of on-topic, Obama's Security Advisor Takes Advice From Winnie the Pooh. More proof of the infantilism of the left.

Being formerly from Utah, I honestly believe that the creators didn’t intentionally mean any negative connotation in this products creation.
That said, it does speak to the level of prejudice and ignorance instilled in the psyche of some, that they would make such an “association between a candidate and a toy we had when we were little” in such a cavalier fashion. Regardless, intentional or not, subconscious prejudice or conscious ignorance, I for one firmly believe that one cannot demand tolerance if one cannot be tolerant. So put me down for 1 order. Cute ol' Muppet!

Hi,
I'm the founder of obamasockpuppet.com We are not the folks behind the Obama puppet currently making news. They are typical mindless Obama supporters while we are thoughtful and incisive. Our puppet has the handsome features and winning smile of the original as created by The South Side Players. The message is in the name and brought home clearly in the videos of Obama's biggest fans. Please check us out.
Thanks,
Tom

Please a few weeks ago you guys were probably all crazy over Rachel Ray wearing a scarf. She was some kind of terrorist.
You all know that African Americans have been depicted in a demeaning way as apes and or monkeys for generations. There clearly is a difference don't pretend to be ignorant on the issue.

Jay, go back and check that artical out. Most of us either had no oppinion on THE SCARF, or didn't think it looked like a Arrafat scarf.
As for your point about the monkey puppet, you're just pulling the RACE CARD, so your post is not worthy of attention.
