Obama Throws Entire Church under the Bus
It wasn't so long ago that Barack Obama said of the unhinged racist demagogue Jeremiah Wright:
I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother…
In the same breath he went on to denounce the white grandmother as a racist, artfully deflecting the blame onto Caucasians as always.
But this was before Obama was alerted that not all white people are latte liberals who hate their own guts for having pale skin. Now he has disowned not only Reverend Wrong, who has retired anyway, but his entire church, after attending it for 20 years.
Via Michelle Malkin, here he is trying to spin his betrayal of the demented racist cult that calls itself Trinity United Church of Christ:
Characteristically, BHO drips with self-pity as he praises scum like Wright and guest bigot Michael Pfleger, and complains about voters who fail to be too dim to realize that the views expressed by the people he has spent his entire adult life around might reflect the opinions lurking behind his meaningless rhetoric about "hope" and "change."
Maybe he thinks this will stop people from digging into taxpayer money he may have funneled toward maniacs like Pfleger in return for their support. I would hate for this to be the first time Obama wasn't wrong.
It may soon get even more crowded under that bus, if the rumored video of his nasty wife denouncing "whitey" comes to the surface.
On a tip from Oiao.

It seems live Barack is kind-of looking down on his (ex)church. "Well, its not fair for them that a big presidential canidate came from their church, and if they can't handle the pressure I guess I'll need to go elsewere." Thats what it seems like he's saying, anyway.
PS. Whats the deal on Otis Moss. So far I haven't heard anything about him. Is he a mini-wright or is he just a pastor trying to preach about Jesus?

Must be like a bone jarring ride over one of those old log roads they built 200 years ago. Thump, thump, thump, thump....
Of course any intelligent person will see Obama leaving as the politically correct move. Now if he had left 15 years ago or after Wrongs rantings after 9-11, then it would be plausible that he was being genuine. But leaving now? No way.

He said:
I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother…
He meant: Unless it becomes expedient to do so.
