Obama Hasn't Always Wanted to Surrender in Iraq

Good news for anyone who doesn't want Iraq to degenerate into a terror-sponsoring Iranian proxy state, so that our troops will have fought and died for nothing:

But what he'll say tomorrow is anyone's guess. Here's what it says on his website:

Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq.

I wonder: is the attack on Pakistan still on? Or does he need to talk it over with Ahmadinejad first?

Brings back memories of the famous Snoopy in a tank photo of Dukakis. I think that is what really did in his bid for the Presidency.

Who says Obama is too inexperienced for politics? He's learned how the play the game very quickly. Unfortunantly for him, he's been reading John Kerry's rulebook.

Just another lie for the Obamanator. He did say what he said and NOBODY is paying attention to his flip, flops and outright lies.

We are pretty DOOMED.

It seems to me that most of the people here are racist's (BTW I'd be a racist too if I could vote in U.S. elections but since I'm a Canadian I can't). Here's a pretty good list of what it means to be a racist during this election cycle.

The McCainiacs are always telling me that even though McCain sucks balls on every domestic issue, I have to vote for him because "Obama will surrender in Iraq." If Obama won't surrender, it undercuts the only reason McCainiacs can give for voting for their turd sandwich.

Posted by: V the K at June 12, 2008 2:07 AM

V the K, it is true that McCain sucks ass. But there are many reasons why Obama goes above and beyond the ass sucking total that McCain accumulates. Enough with the technical terms: Global Poverty Plan, (U.S taxpayer funded worldwide welfare) 'post-birth' abortion, taxing oil companies, (McCain goes back and forth on this I think) raising taxes on taxpayers, being a racist a-hole, and a government program 'solution' for every single 'perceived' problem.

He makes one long for the constancy of the Kerry campaign.

Off-Topic Tip of the Day, Why socialists hate cars:

No device is more in keeping with the American spirit than the automobile. Privately owned cars and trucks allow us to go where we want, when want. They are freedom machines.
Still, some liberals would like to use government to force Americans out of their cars. They believe in socialized transportation, not free-market transportation.
In a free-market transportation system, a person purchases his own vehicle with his own money, buys his own gas with his own money and can drive his vehicle anywhere there is a road....
In a socialist transportation system, the government takes the taxpayers' money and purchases vehicles -- often buses or trains -- for itself or a government-funded agency. Where and when these vehicles go is determined by the government.

This explains why the Socialist-Democrats won't let us develop energy independence even as gas gets ever more expensive and the oil we import pays for the spread of global terrorism. For the socialist-Democrats who hate freedom and America, this situation is win-win.

I have to agree with TNT, simply complaining endlessly about McCain accomplishes nothing. And Obama is 10 times worse than McCain for the reasons given and then some.If McCain makes it into the Whitehouse THEN complain about him all day long - I will even join in. First things first, STOP Obama from taking over the Whitehouse, THEN and only THEN put McCains feet to the fire. Attacking McCain ad naseum was fine during the primaries - I attacked him plenty myself but there are bigger fish to fry - mainly a racist, marxist, grinning, wet-behind-the-ears dope named Barack Obama.

Obvama has two problems, he is his own walking talking culture of corruption, and his JUDGEMENT on most matters of importance is severely lacking.

Poor Obama, spent more time learning how to say something, without realizing that some people were actually listening to what he was saying.

Not a pretty sight.

Posted by: bill-tb at June 12, 2008 4:53 AM

Yeah, "holding McCain's feet to the fire" will keep him from imposing Amnesty, compromising Gang-of-14 style on judges, pushing his Global Warming agenda, and punishing energy producers for producing energy. Just like "holding their feet to the fire" kept the Republicans in Congress from acting like Big Government Democrats.

If McCain wins, than the GOP will take the lesson that to win they have to become like McCain ... soft socialists and slaves to Big Green Environmentalism. That would be as devastating to the country as anything Obama would do.

Posted by: V the K at June 12, 2008 5:01 AM

no one cares that Obama is Jewish?

Posted by: Anonymous at June 12, 2008 5:30 AM

Anon... no, no one cares that he's 'jewish'. Even if he actually *were* Jewish, no one here would give a rat's ass. Libs would go ballistic tho...

Not to defend the racist creep, but this video is from 2004.

Posted by: Adrian at June 12, 2008 6:19 AM

V the K, if you actually see McCain to be as bad as Obama then start supporting Obama - because thats essentially what you are doing. Cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I realize many right wing extremists would rather burn the country to the ground under Obama just to make a point. If there were a viable 3rd party candidate I would vote for them but there isnt. McCain is the lesser of two evils and other than voting for Obama is the only choice. McCain is a moderate conservative/moderate liberal but Obama is pure Marxist. McCain is currently just saying things to get votes - half of it wouldnt actually do; he is a typical politician.

If Hillary Clinton were the nomimee I would say 4 years of her wouldnt be anywhere near as bad as 4 years of Obama. Clinton is practical politician like her husband who worked with Republicans when it was politically convenient in passing tax cuts and welfare reform. 4 years of her would be irratating but not dangerous. 4 years of Obama would be playing with fire. If things get out of hand there may not be a country left for the GOP to save in the future.

Just because people would vote for McCain over Obama doesnt mean they are McCainiacs - just realists who would prefer a wishy washy guy like McCain over a rabid Marxist and instead prefer to lay the groundwork for 2012.

Enough with McCain already just use this philosophy from Michael Ironside of Starship Troopers, paraphrasing:

"[We] need a [President]. McCain, You're it, until you're dead or [we] find someone better. "

The last Anony makes a good point.

Not surprised about Obama "changing" his comment about Iraq and troop withdraw...he's a DEM isn't he... John Kerry, Bill and Hillary, and the rest of them are all the same.

This is probably what Obama meant with the word "CHANGE".

Am I the only one who has a big problem listening to a traitor like John Kerry attack a military hero like John McCain????

"V the K at June 12, 2008 2:07 AM"

V, this election year reminds me of 1976. We were sick of "Tricky Dick" and his gang, so we voted for Carter for one reason only: he was NOT Ford!
McCain seems to know that this will be a repeat of '76 and is taking it easy. For months I fully expected him to come on TV and hold up a picture of Obama and another of Hillery, saying "You can vote for one of these two, or for me. Thank you."

Posted by: KHarn at June 12, 2008 2:47 PM

Blah! Blah! Blah! And he accuses McCain of being out of touch and confused? He deliberately changed his stance in this interview. Mr. NoExperience MUST be Mr. NoPresident!!!!!

Vote McCain!

Posted by: L. Welch at June 12, 2008 6:20 PM

Obama speaks out all sides of his mouth. This man is not even close to being ready to be our President. No experience. No integrity. No judgement.

Colonel Klink didn't always always want to surrender the prison camp to Colonel Hogan either. It was just a matter of competence.
