Idolizing Both Che and Obama

Unfortunately Maria Isabel — the Obama campaigner worker fond of displaying flags that feature communist executioner Che Guevara — is not unique:

james-burge.jpg

The moonbat above is Lorain County, Ohio Judge James Burge. The picture accompanies a USA Today story describing Burge's opposition to Ohio's lethal injection procedure, on the grounds that it isn't quick and painless enough for murderers.

As a fan of Che Guevara, he no doubt feels that a bullet to the head is plenty quick and painless enough for counterrevolutionaries.

Guevara was Fidel Castro's personal executioner. Every socialist dictatorship needs one. The Nazis had Heinrich Himmler, the Soviets had Felix Dzerzhinsky, the Khmer Rouge had Honcho Nuon Chea. For some reason progressives chose Guevara as the personification of the evil they embrace.

Maybe it's because Che inspired them with lofty words like those below.

Dismissing the objections of a colleague who understood the importance of trials and proof:

Go ahead and try them tomorrow morning — but execute them NOW!

From his Motorcycle Diaries, which acolyte Robert Redford managed to edit into a cinematic hagiography:

Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!

Instructing his Revolutionary Tribunals:

We don't need proof to execute a man. We only need proof that it's necessary to execute him. A revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate.

From a letter to his father:

I'd like to confess, papa, at that moment I discovered that I really like killing.

Summing up socialism, after describing how he shot some poor helpless guy in the head at point-blank range:

He went into convulsions for a while and was finally still. Now his belongings were mine.

To a 14-year-old boy, just before he personally blew the kid's brains out for trying to defend his father, who was also executed:

I said: KNEEL DOWN!

(The kid wouldn't kneel and had to be murdered standing up.)

Your average teenager walking around the shopping mall in a Che T-shirt is only doing it to be a brat. But adults who adulate such pure evil are fit subjects for an exorcism.

The popularity of both Che Guevara and Barack Obama among the same moonbats indicates what the vague rhetoric about Hope and Change actually means. These sick freaks are hoping to change America into hell on earth.

Nonetheless they're morally superior, because they think pricking a murderer with a needle is cruel and unusual punishment.

che_guevara_dead.jpg
Che Guevara is thankfully dead. But they've still got Obama.

On a tip from NH Dad.

Wait'll you see this...

Posted by: Rob Banks at June 14, 2008 2:17 PM

I have to agree with this guy; when 'lethal injection' was proposeded for Florida, a local paper discribed the process and I KNEW that some bleeding-heart Liberal would say that it was "cruel and unusual punishment". I suggested that the condemed be "injected" with three 30-30 bullets instead. As "Wild west Tech has shown, this can be done via machinery.

Posted by: KHarn at June 14, 2008 2:23 PM

Lorain County, Ohio Judge James Burge is just another worthless, cowardly, hypocritical pig-suckling liberal. Fairly typical. The most useful thing he will ever do is stop breathing.

Posted by: Jimbo at June 14, 2008 2:41 PM

I know some rat-ass liberals will deride us for still displaying our Bush-Cheney '04 bumper stickers long after it's been proven that we illegally invaded a disarmed country, killed thousands of their citizens, and took thousands more into secret prisons where they are denied trial and stacked naked like cordwood.

But Bush is no cold-hearted Che who enjoys killing for the cause. Bush is indifferent to killing, cause or no cause. And that's the difference.

Posted by: Who's yer Army Dad? at June 14, 2008 3:01 PM

"Bush is indifferent to killing, cause or no cause."

That's one of the most stupid statements I have ever read, period. So you know what's in his mind, do you dipshit? Mind reader, are you?

Tell me - what am I thinking right now?

Posted by: Jimbo at June 14, 2008 3:09 PM

Jimbo,

Please don't keep bringing this up.

We both know you're thinking about my gonads.

Gonad.

Let it go.

The troll illustrates left-liberal logic at its finest.

Killing terrorists jihadis --- bad.

Killing teenagers in the name of socialism --- good.

forest - they're delusional. As noted in a previous post; they still have chads hanging out their butts from 2000 cuz they're too stupid to wipe their asses. That's why they stink so bad - dirty underwear, don't you know.

Add to that the fact that any of them would believe a thinking person would ever open a link they provide - they're not only delusional - they're plum-f*cking-nuts.

They remind me of the monkeys at the zoo that crap in their hands and throw it at people. Then lick their fingers...

Hey Moonbat troll, what do you know about writing in presidential candidates?

If I were you, I would write in WALTER MONDALE, The Progressives ONLY CHOICE for 08.

Posted by: Walter Mondale at June 14, 2008 5:20 PM

Anyone else note that the trolls come in waves? Who's yer Army Dad? and Dan Quayle both pop up at about the same time almost every time. I'm guessing there's some kind of concerted effort for this crap in their little cyber-huts. I'm glad I don't have as much free time on my hands as these people do. I just never had the desire or time to jump on lefty blogs and post little derisive rants like some third-rate Tokyo Rose clone.

Posted by: Thulsa Doom at June 14, 2008 6:19 PM

You know I wonder if Moonbats would find it more much acceptable if we instead sent criminals to Cuba to have them appear before a kangaroo court and be shot before a firing squad in the morning.

What would they say then?

Do you suppose they might start hanging pictures of Ronald Reagan on their walls?

Somehow, I don't think so, I think they might be bouncing OFF the walls.

In an interview for this Sunday's edition of The New York Times Magazine, famed novelist/essayist Gore Vidal appears to question Sen. John McCain's account of being imprisoned by the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam war.

Asked what he thinks of McCain, Vidal calls him a "disaster," then tells Deborah Solomon, "Who started this rumor that he was a war hero? Where does that come from, aside from himself? About his suffering in the prison war camp?"

I'm telling all of you, this is only going to get worse. Now that the "lib-progressives" know we're here, there had better be a moderator for the comment section or all we'll have is this hit and run sniping.

The anger and literal mental illness of these people is astounding. As much as I oppose Obama, I don't want to see him dead or imprisoned or tortured. You cannot say the same for the lib-progressive. Their hatred for conservatives in general and George W in particular is beyond comprehension. THEY'VE WAITED SINCE THE SIXTIES, GODDAMN IT! THEY WANT THE WORLD TO BE WOODSTOCK! THIS IS NOW THEIR TIME! UP THE REVOLUTION!

We're in for a culture clash the likes of which we've never seen. It won't be pretty.

Off topic here - really, really off topic...

I was just about to fix a box of Rice-a-Roni. It's been a long, long time since I fixed any. The recipe has changed - it now calls for:

1 Tablespoon of margarine or butter with no trans fat

Uhhh... I wonder what will happen if I use plain old butter? I knew better than to buy ANYTHING called a "San Francisco Treat" - reckon it'll BLOW when I use regular butter?????

I'm thinking I should call a haz-mat team or the bomb squad....

Jimbo, they only use 'free range' rice in the San FranFreakShow treat.

Or - that sounded like an 'Obama on your sholder' moment......

The LA Times says the NRA won, and it might as well disband.

Now personally, I despise 'Guns' as a term used to define a category of 'Weapons.'

I personally do believe that people with no training should not be allowed near a firearm, but US Citizens with proper training, previous law enforcment or military training should be allowed to carry.

Barack Obama Condones Coordinated Internet Harassment by his Thugs

The idea here is to turn the internet into a constant Pro Obama “echo”. This includes going where people who do not support Obama are. It also included driving all Hillary supporters away from presumably “objective” sites until the sites become All Obama All The Time.

Ha Ha Ha --- that's great! It's so completely out of touch with what the general Liberal sentiment really is that there is no possible way for a Liberal to have a genuine beef with a policy that denies YOUR [meaning conservative] government the ability to give back what it might very possibly be proven wrong about. But you almost seem bent on proving that YOU can be just as barbaric the most heinous of criminals once YOUR government has "proven" someone guilty of something. Yeah---that's it---let's all give a big hand to the man who likes to take away what he does not have the power to give back----Life! All of this "Liberal" and "Conservative" talk is nauseating. Like we don't all have most of our lives at stake in the health and wealth of America---as Americans. What is so difficult about thinking for one's self on issues rather than riding on the political coat-tails of men and women we most likely will never meet in our lifetime----where's the freedom in that? If you can't think for yourself---then you will NEVER be free; nor do you deserve to be.

Posted by: Nathan at June 15, 2008 6:04 AM

you almost seem bent on proving that YOU can be just as barbaric the most heinous of criminals once YOUR government has "proven" someone guilty of something.

BS. Lethal injection is a far less barbaric death than the kind of death a person who is subject to lethal injection inflicted on his victims. And a person subject to lethal injection goes through a legal process... however imperfect... before getting it. (You may compare and contrast to the 'legal process' Che used when gunning down peasants and teenagers.)

Liberals insist that they only want the process to be perfect, so that no one innocent is ever put to death in error. But a reasonable person knows that perfection is impossible. We also know that no sooner would "Life in prison without parole" become the ultimate penalty that liberals would start whining about that, too. The same way they whine about terrorists at GITMO.

A person who willfully murders a human being also willfully forfeits his right to be alive. It may seem harsh, but what bleeding heart liberals can never seem to get their heads around is the simple truth that There Are Bad People in the World an d Sometimes They Have to be Killed, just as a shepherd sometimes has to kill a predator to protect his flock.

And one of the reasons that it is the GOVERNMENT that does that is because there is no other place in society to institute that form of power, unless you want vigilante justice.

By the way, Nate, the Anarcho-Romantic libertarian pose looks cute on a college freshman with no exposure to the harsh realities of life, but if you're anywhere north of 30 and still doing it, check your meds.

Just because people don't agree with you does not mean they are thinking for themselves.

OT: Bee keepers in Germany are having to transport their bees to avoid fields with genetically modified plants. If caught with more than 4% GM pollen they can be subject to prison and fines:

“'I could get up to three years in prison,'”

"shops will not take honey that does not come with a signed paper to say it is under four percent GM.

"Testing costs around €300 per 10 kilo pot, making it easier to drive bees away from GM crops than get every pot tested."

"Bablok said many apiarists in the region had already given up their businesses, either due to the costs or because their bees had died off."

“'If the bees are no longer available for pollination, there will, for example, be no more fruit or grain.'”

All of this "Liberal" and "Conservative" talk is nauseating. Like we don't all have most of our lives at stake in the health and wealth of America---as Americans.

I have to admit that the new Democratic-liberal strategem is extremely clever, bordering on brilliant, though its millions of penny-ante practitioners are far from.

"Why can't we all get along and put aside our petty, selfish differences, focus on the Big Picture and just do the right thing" = conservatives, get over your stupid ignorance and come over to the correct side of the table. We'll welcome you once you've realized your errors and self-corrected."

Am guessing today's "Can't we just put aside partisan politics" crowd never read any James Madison.

Posted by: mega at June 15, 2008 7:49 AM

One big reason there's no way I'm setting aside my differences is that the Democrat's tax plan will cost me at least $5000 per year in extra taxes. I make less than Obama's limit of what he considers to be "wealthy", but I'll get nailed along with a bunch of other middle-class self-employed people - in spie of his lies to the contrary.

It's Rangel's HR 3970. Take a look at it if you have an s-corp. Ouch!
